People dont realise their jobs, homes, sense of security can be taken from them at any moment. Life isnt all about shopping and waiting for the weekend. Once you lose the roof over your head that's it. I believe most people have compassion but modern life has made us selfish, makes us look down on other people if they don't have what we have. People who live on the streets are still people.

I myself hav been on and off the streets, Liverpool had the most amazing understanding people who helped me in my need of help, Especially two young boys who helped save my life in newsham park,my leg exploded due to a infection,,The royal hospital nursing staff werr amazing,,,I have had a drug and alcohol problem for nearly 20 years,when my dad ran off with my ex girlfriend at the time,that was the start of my life when it fell apart,, police would arrest me most weekends for begging,The big issue was help until it was out priced by greed,There are a lot of people who are not on the streets I live in Plymouth now ,I had to go thru the system after 10 years on the street here in place,i was in the hostel system which it took 3 years in the salvation army, before I was able to get a flat,,Today I still suffer from the effects of being homeless,I struggle sleep in a bed.,The city council don't care,,They move you on as they don't want homeless people on the streets due to tourism,my story can be told but it won't solve the problems of homelessness,,,I am afraid for my future,my 3 Today I would like to see the law changed,Give those who are on the streets iD cards so we can beg without being arrested,The money we earn could go towards housing..I see so many people who are not homeless begging especially on Friday and Saturday nights,ID cards would help,,we need a safe place to do our drugs and drink our alcohol,I think this would save life's,,,so many people have died because of drugs and alcohol, overdoses mixed overdoses,on the street we need hope and that's my 3 wishes in one, Hope too see a future,,Hope too be a better person,,hope to bring a end too homelessness,,, without hope theres no hope...Today I see so many young people on the street,,I hav been on and off the streets for twenty years believe me homelessness is now at it's highest not just in Liverpool,I live in Plymouth and today just rough sleepers there is at least 23 there the ones who are counted, Salvation army 300 people,hostal 120 people,, settee too settee sleepers unknown Law needs changing more help is needed no one in today's world should be sleeping on the streets ,my story can be told but it won't fix or solve the issues regarding homelessness in 2023... please like or make a comment about my comment it would be interesting too know your views,,Ty for covering this girls story,

I pray that she gets the help she needs 🙏 just be careful getting people into such deep emotional painful conversation without a support for her to link in with afterwards.
I've got a room for her and her dog down in Bristol if she ever wants a change of scenery. Winter be upon us soon.
What I will never understand is, how do people who come into this country on a boat illegally, get better treatment than the people who are already legal citizens of this country?

There are so MANY agencies that make money out of shuffling people about.
I was homeless 6 times in Spain cos I was doing that good in my job that the biggest coke dealer on the island of gran canary threatened to blow my brains out cos my bar was doing better than his boogie Woogie bar which was packed until Mickey Mouse bar that was my new bar started getting more successful he threatened to blow my employers brain out so I lost job then subsequently my home I knew nobody it was in the 80s I told him to do it shoot me cos frankly I wanted to die anyway then I told him he would be doing me a favour I told him to F off it was scary been all alone but I then found employment as a nanny that was my profession any way then after a few months met a billionaire so it was a rags to riches story but he turned out to be very callous so I’ve always helped the homeless and the vulnerable even though I am vulnerable myself hope u get your children back Charlotte and so sorry about your dear sister much strength and love to u sweetheart and ignore that awful comment about u been a scant they r for been so nasty .

I hate what the Goverment are doing (especially in regards to the migrant crisis) but literately sitting on your arse and saying 'I want' is going to get you nowhere, once the tears are dry.
There is SO MUCH help out there, there is no reason why you can't get off drugs, and off the streets.
Nobody is going to drop it in your lap, you have to want to change your situation and learn to ASK for help, and not demand it.
How can this be in 2023? Answer- too many immigrants in big hotels getting well looked after while our ppl suffer
they are drug addicts, not homeless. not being able to pay bills is a side effect of drug addiction.

Her child’s father wasnt supposed to be around the children so she was probably given a choice to remain in that relationship and lose her children or lose the man and keep the kids. She was caught by a social worker with - in her own words “baby daddy who wasn’t supposed to be around the kids” so they were removed. This is normally a situation that occurs most often when the spouse or “baby daddy” is implicated in severe domestic violence or sexual abuse but is also seen if there is substance abuse or neglect though in those they’re normally prevented from being around the children unsupervised rather than completely barred from contact

@@user-fe7en2vm4y I did. Mostly because there isn’t any evidence at all that she did. There was no suggestion that she was abusing any substances while her children were in her care.
If we are sticking with evidence based facts from this short video alone, There is evidence in her own admission that a social worker found her in the company of - again her own words “baby daddy that wasn’t supposed to be around the kids” and in both my professional and my personal capacity I can tell you that normally when someone has prevented from being around their children it’s because of severe domestic violence or sexual abuse.
It can also be for substance abuse but as I said normally that’s in a supervised and not unattended situation rather than a blanket ban. The fact she maintained custody of the children up until that point usually means that even if there was a query of substance misuse by her she would have had to engage in a rehabilitation program and comply with their rules.
@@user-fe7en2vm4y and while they can be, the situation she described in the video is also very common. We only have the evidence in this short recording to go by. Her own admission of being in the company of someone who had previously been legally prevented from contact with the children.
While she may not be completely honest in the video or even with herself, there is no evidence of her substance misuse while her children were in her care. Rather than inventing scenarios using derogatory language, I chose to further explain the situation she described and the reasons behind those decisions being taken to someone who asked a question and maybe isn’t as familiar with health and social care partnership procedures as I am.

Life is a long haul and she looks still young in life. Nobody knows what is around the next corner, Her life might be this until she OD's, or something comes out of the blue to change her forever. How she is talking and behaving, is specific to where she is in life and who she is surrounded by. If she was to demonstrate any morality or humanity, she would be ridiculed and abused by the masses of people that are ready to abuse any weakness she might show. I wont judge her, as I am not in her shoes; But that doesn't mean I didn't once stand in the same shoes myself decades ago. Who she looks like now , might not be the person inside her, that is trapped in a cycle she cannot escape. I'm not in the least bit religious , but i say, " let who ever it is with no sin of their own, cast the fist stone >> . " No one is innocent
It's not so much how your life is today it's caused by how you was brought up in the first place I'm sorry if I'm thinking right,, but I'm sure you've been brought up in poverty which is the course of a lot of problems today in England,,,, the people that make the laws in Westminster and the local councils are often middle class and wealthy people they do not consider or know what life is like for the poor so they do not make laws and understand to help people like yourself there is no Democracy in England only capitalism...... ❤

The one thing about being white British and homless it's every difficult because most people that get housed ara normally polish Africa asian and Chinese people people that wasn't born here and homless English people just getting pushed away every single time because of the big problem with migrants
