The poor lass has known nothing but hardship. I sometimes took for granted that i had two loving parents who have sadly passed away recently. This girl and her kids deserve all the luck and love in the world, I worked with people like this in a previous job and deep down they are good honest people.
Fair play for Lucy for speaking out she is very nice and hope she gets good help soon wish her the best.
Such a brave girl you can hear the pain in her voice, i hope she can get the help she needs to start a new life 💔

I hope this young lady doesn’t give up. There’s still hope. She is so young, clearly intelligent and still has so much potential. I pray she stops the sex work and somehow gets clean of drugs. It’s difficult but it’s possible.

I know what you mean. But I always think that as long as you don't treat women this way yourself that's all you can do. You're not responsible for how other men behave. There's always sad people who'll exploit others for their own ends. It's just human nature I'm afraid.

No help for a man who cries. You're just seen as a wacko or weak.
If you're poor, or unemployed, as a man you're an absolute failure in society's eyes, whereas a Woman can be a housewife without any stigma at all.
I always remember watching a programme on TV about homeless people in Plymouth. There was a guy in his late 50s, who'd never been homeless before, but had become depressed, turned to alcohol then lost his job and his wife divorced him and kicked him out of the house and he ended up on the streets. He was trying to get emergency accommodation through the council, and they basically told him that because he was a single man in his 50s he was the lowest priority. They basically told him that even though they'd put him on the waiting list, the reality was that he would never be able to get emergency accommodation.
I'll never forget the look on his face when they told him, he was getting angry saying that he'd been homeless for weeks sleeping on a concrete floor and that at his age he didn't know how long he could last doing this, he started to break down into tears and the housing officer just looked at him pretty nonplussed, as if she'd done her job and didn't really care.
I pray she gets the help she needs 🙏

Lucy you will do it, your wise for your years and your time will come when something clicks and you will get the help you deserve. Working with homeless people i have seen many who were long term drug users funding their addiction through sex work. I hope its soon. You are a special young woman.

I got on heroin at 19 years old , jail got me off it and 2 implants an about 3 hospital detox’s , the craving does go away but takes years I forgot what it’s like but I remember having to wait for it being dropped off , I only know one other person that got off it , I heard theirs a shot you can have every month it’s Subutex an it blocks you , she should have one of them
Im going to stop complaining from now on!

I've always had respect for women who work as prostitute's like she said there's many ways she could fund her drug addiction instead she puts her life on the line to earn money so that she doesn't hurt others...come on♥️👌♥️...i hope she stays safe gets help and finds happiness in her life..the hardest thing about giving heroin up is the mundane reality finding out that you've hurt people ya know there ♥️but it can be done and for me it was always about my mental health if only i went to my g.ps years ago for Prozac..mental health services have always been the poor man of the NHS and still is...
Social Services never cared .Were happy when kids ran away so they never had to bother anymore .

Addiction is a terrible disease 😪 it's very sad for this young woman I'm an x drug addict and x alcoholic and I got sober 26years ago when they gave me 2 weeks to live because of addiction problems and the damage I'd done and I went to A A THEN WENT TO CHURCH NOW I HELP OTHERS WHO ARE WE'RE I WAS YEARS AGO 💔 😢

Self medication, unless you have suffered some trauma without an immediate intervention to deal with and heal from it. You will try and cope with the past or fallout from the mental pain by using whatever addictive route is available.
