@@sauce530 There are far worse countries in the world though. Of all the countries in the world, Japan is by far the most civilized and has the highest standard of living. It has a beautiful culture, rich history, beautiful scenery, crime rates are low, and the people are lovely. Compared to this, the cons are negligible. Yup there's loneliness, Japan also has a stalking problem (men stalking women), people are expected to devote their lives to the company they work for, and men are expected to have a mistress if they are married. But these are issues everywhere nowadays.

You need to try riding a train in your city to see if you like it... riding a train is so fun and relaxing, mostly smooth riding and great scenery to look out for! Then if you're cool with it, start traveling with long distance trains.... whole new level of awesomeness!
@@pacmantravel2158 Here in Paris if I'm not to much in a hurry I take the bus, the ride isn't as smotth as the train, it takes longer, you usually wait for it longer but I find it more enjoyable. You get a little cosy feeling on the bus that you don't get on the metro.

Hello Kitty is well known in the United States. What an enchanting train whether you are a child or an adult! Also the trains and stations are very admirable for their cleanliness and attention to detail.
I'm British but I've lived in the US as well. Both of our countries cannot compete with the Japanese with respect to trains. They are at another level!

Sanrio’s popular cat character will decorate the outside in her adorable pink ribbon style, while the inside of the train has an two train carriages completely dedicated to interacting with Hello Kitty, even the train announcements have themed sounds!
Look at Japan and their ability to have high speed trains for passengers and also to trains to transport goods and not worrying about their workers striking due to working conditions. What a functional society.

There are many elderly people and not enough new people to support them. And unlike many other countries, there's not much immigration. This is a dysfunctional society in the making

I love Japanese rail culture so much, from a station built with no exit solely so you could view the beautiful scenery from the platform before getting back on the train (Seiryu Miharashi Eki) to trains decorated for fictional characters like Hello Kitty, it's truly one of a kind.
In Iwate Prefecture, they have a train decorated with Pikachu as well as an indoor play-place called the Pokémon with You Train on the Ōfunato Line. This train has a special purpose. It was created specifically to give the local kids something to look forward to after the area was devastated by the 2011 earthquake and tsunami (along with bringing tourism to the area to help its economy recover).

Симпатичный поезд с забавным интерьером. Очень продумано наличие магазинчика - пассажиры с детьми, да и не только они, обязательно что-нибудь купят. Очень красивый внешний вид у самого локомотива. А еще очень интересно смотреть в окно и любоваться зеленью рисовых полей. Спасибо за видео!

Wow that's amazing! And I cannot believe how spacious the train is, and how clean it is everywhere! I'm a railway girl, but here in the UK everything on the railways is dirty and cramped, trains are ugly and designed in hideous, garish colors, and if the Japanese think a few minutes delays is a big deal then you guys are in for a shock here... here, it's unusual for a train to be on time. And once there's a few minutes delay, more and more delay gets accumulated and it just descends into a snowball effect where every train is late. It's like that every day. I know, I've worked on the railways for over 20 years.

As you note at 04:30 the seats are rather old and have no charging sockets...But you're on a 500 Series, so you're not going to have enough time to charge anything anyway! 🚄⚡💨😉

Great trip. This is one of my favourite Shinkansen model. The design is feels coming from the future. I hope there is similar model with 500 series Shinkansen in the future with better speed and running in top tier Shinkansen.
