This is going to affect the sex based rights around the world, not enough people know about it or understand really why this has such serious implications. Good for him, staying private. He chose to broke the pattern for this, which is also fine--we can interrupt our personal norm intentionally from time to time, which doesn't at all have to mean we're morphing into something "other." But it's terribly healthy to understand yourself so well that you can opt out and say "No" to the stratospheric sucking force of family fame and know where, who, how, why you are and be utterly at peace with that.

I'm only 20 minutes in, and I believe this is so interesting because Julian's dad has helped so many people, so many of us have grown and are just so grateful for the man's work and dedication to all of us, and that all came to fruition as a result of his dad, and it's just human nature to be curious as to how his children turned out. In these 2 Julian and Mikhaila, they're just Both so Kind, Thoughtful, Focused Intelligence, just Empathetic to all human's, but not to a fault. For me and my household, we are forever indebted to the entire Peterson Family. It's just an honor to even be able to be here, to be a part of, well to look in on this conversation. Thanks for doing this with your brother Mikhaila and Thank You Julian for opening up today. I hope the year is well, fun and kind to you and your entire family to both of you. - BC

A lady posted asking if she should be weary of her new boyfriend as he’s a Jordan Peterson fan. I said I think he’s a keeper and I’m a big fan. I’ve never in my life been so bullied and have been in tears all night. If this is what happens to me I can’t imagine how Jordan and yourself feel on a daily basis. At minute 52:00. So good. Taking care of one another and belonging to one another (a couple minutes before as well). Tragedy shaping you and giving you perspective. My son faced illness and the death of a dear friend at 14. I didnt help him navigate that well because I was still living in a fantasy that life isnt supposed to be hard rather than life is hard by design to transform us and grow us. The comment on having money while following your family's progress, trials, and success, brought me to this observation. It seems not having money limits freedoms and having an excessive amount also limits freedoms, especially combined with the components of fame or when infamy is foisted on you. Stay grounded as you are and all the best to you and your growing family. 👍

I think another way to put it is that Jordan often puts value on the individual’s responsibility, where Julian believes that there are other external forces that cause issues. I think a case can be made for both :).

Mikhaila, Dr. Peterson and Tammy (sometimes) get a lot of my time but Julian gets my money 😅. Been using Essay for a while now. I only write on Essay. The Outline option is the most helpful. It structures my ideas which I find difficult.

I wouldn't say innocent. I as a man don't find myself respecting an innocent man automatically, as I do him.
Well he's just extremely sincere and down-to-earth.
Pure. Maybe that's the word you meant?

Their observations about the overwhelming love you feel for a child is so true. Over the years - when my friends were about to become parents - I would tell them "get ready for an unimaginable feeling of love like you've never experienced." There is simply no comparison between the love you feel for your significant-other and the love you have for your child. Also - there's an empathy that develops for other parents. I imagine that you can relate to them on a deeper level because of the shared experience of this intense love. This empathy grows beyond just other parents, and manifests itself in all relationships. Being a parent isn't just about raising the child into a well adjusted person - it's also about 'raising' yourself to be the kind of example that your kids need. There's a depth that's available to parents that I think few non-parents can acheive.
(Yeah, I know that last sentence is going to rub some people the wrong way. Assign whatever value to it that you want . This is just one parent's opinion.)

Oh, Julian is my favorite!! I wish he was the more public one. His discernment and calm stable force and presence is such good leadership. Man, his thought process is so clear and honest: I’d follow his advice. What’s his company? Can you translate any of your mind set and thought processes into protocols for adults to navigate the crazy world of technology that we adjust to: you neeed to say no to a lot in order to be actually be able to say yes. This was my favorite one. I grew up in a secular scientific/ medical/ feminist family and Jordan was the first academic and or authority who got what I was going through as a woman in society and well my Mom was Catholic so I had those roots and I rebelled and went more conservative in my adult life simply to create more control and calm in my life: I also think that that world is better to raise small children in and then to progressively become more progressive as they can process the world more. I’m not conservative or liberal actually… I’m pretty self discerning to hodge podge things together to actual workable models in the now. Is Julien an INTJ? I think he might be, or maybe an INFJ but I really think INTJ. I’m an ENFP my hubs is in INFJ I love Ixxjs they create sanity in a lot of uncharted spaces. You’re definitely either an. ENTJ or ENFJ or maybe and ESFP I’m not sure. I thought 50 years into the future at like 4, but I have a lot of anxiety that comes with my personality type and it stopped me from dating until college but my parents were older and professionals so there’s that: I only had two children o. Purpose at 31 and 34 since that’s what my parents did and yep I’m always running 20 year plans. My hubs does it too, but did not understand just how much my outshoots were real until he did. Now he’s like somehow I have a wife, a dog, two kids a good home and a retirement plan plus a million contingency plans… I’m not a normal ENFP though an ENTJ father and ISFJ mother will do that to you. I want our son to be like Julien. I focused on both education and relationship in college, but being a younger sister knew that I couldn’t mess around with the relationship part. It was the most important decision of my life. I went against type and the world and did get made fun of for it. But I knew that my career was not going to be the most important part of my identity. It was necessary for me to take my education very seriously for personal development and ability to handle things like finances and the adult world and trying to have an impact positively on the world. But wife and mother are my most important roles and my career as a maternal nurse is purposely focused on helping other women to do that too. I believe in mothers and women and children. I also believe in fathers and that building those structures in any time period is one of the best things that you can do for humanity.
