This year the difference between the iPhone 14 Pro and the regular iPhone 14 is bigger than ever. The question is, which phone provides the better value (more phone for your money), is it the iPhone 14 with it’s lower price, or the iPhone 14 Pro with it’s extra features? The answer may surprise you! To answer this, I am going to be comparing the differences and similarities between these two phones to find out which is the better buy! Price: iPhone 14 Pro, 128GB for $999 / £1099, iPhone 14, 128GB for $799 or £849, $200 price difference. Differences. Both have squared off design, but take different approaches. 14 Pro features polished stainless steel frame and matte glass back. 14 uses matte aluminium frame and glossy glass back. Both are well made phones, but the iPhone 14 Pro has a luxurious quality, that you don’t get with the regular 14. When it comes to the display, there are several differences. The 14 Pro introduced the Dynamic Island, a new way to interact with apps and notifications. Biggest difference in the display is refresh rate. The 120 hz display on the 14 Pro is just so smooth to use compared to the 60 hz display on the 14, side by side the difference is clear. 14 Pro’s display is also brighter, outdoors the difference is substantial. This year for the first time, Apple reserved the A16 processor for the 14 Pro’s. While the 14’s get the A15 chip from last year. Where the difference between the A16 and A15 chips will show in the in the years to come. Where the A16 will likely get one or two more years of software support and new features. If you take a lot of photos or videos on your phone, the 14 Pro does have some big camera advantages: new 48mp main sensor as well as adding a third telephoto lens. 14 Pro performs better low light scenarios and captures more detail. We’ve looked at the differences between the 14 and 14 Pro, but just as important are the similarities. Both phones share the same 6.1” form factor. Both support iOS16 with its latest features and Apple’s full iCloud, AirPods and Apple Watch integration. I found battery life between the iPhone 14 and 14 Pro to be very similar. Both getting me 7-8 hrs of screen on time, can last all day. 14 Pro and 14 both have big new safety features: crash Detection and emergency SOS Via Satellite. So at the end of the day, which phones provides the best value and which should you buy? For $200 more the iPhone 14 Pro adds: More premium design, Dynamic Island, 120hz display, A16 processor, big camera upgrades. All together, this creates a compelling package. In my opinion, looking at both the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14, for the first time, the Pro model, iPhone 14 Pro is the better value option. More expensive yes, but you just get more phone for your money, thus providing better value.

Go for the pro if you like taking photos with your phone… normally I get the pro max every year but this year had to go for the pro…. Limited stock for Pro Max until now

Iphone 14's better battery is my favourite as it lasts so much longer which helps to get through the day.

I got a iPhone 14 because the dynamic island ones not have to many apps but the A15 is no different from the A16. I got my 14 also because the front camera will degrade over time if ou touch it and the dynamic island ruins your movies. I will upgrade to the 16 or 17 when the dynamic island has improvements

My favourite feature is the action mode. It is very stable and I think it does better than the Andriod phones.

My favourite feature of the iPhone 14 is the cameras. Being an iPhone XS user, I think the 14 would be a massive upgrade in taking photos with sharper quality and better colour accuracy. With a better low-light performance compared to previous phones, pictures taken with night mode (non-existent on the XS) would look more stunning.

Just got the iPhone 14 Pro after trading in my iPhone 13 mini and so far I am very happy with my new iPhone.only thing I kinda miss from the 13 mini is of course the portability.
I think the pro clearly is worth it this year if you can afford it. Better cameras, better resolution, brighter screen, faster refresh rate, more premium build quality, dynamic island, always on display, better chips, longer software update support, better battery life (if you set them to same brightness), etc. These things really add up.

The dynamic island hits me differently with the 120hz frame rate and always on display that does not have a huge effect on the battery. These are just some of my favorite features on the iphone 14 pro 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Am using android past a decade. Thinking to switch over to 14 pro, however I'm stuck. As i often download 3rd party apps, mods, apks etc on my android n works seamlessly. In ios, I'm sure i wud not be able to continue the same experience i had on android. So shud i upgrade to 14 pro, if not den any other alternative in android other then Pixel 7 pro, though s23 is not something i like.

An excellent video. However, the back material is irrelevant as I plan to purchase an otterbox. This brings up a point you missed. The 14 pro with an otterbox may be too heavy, Therefore, the Iphone with the otterbox may be lighter.

for me it's iphone 14 or even the 13 since I'm not a "pro user" and I don't think that I'm gonna get full benefits from it even though I like I better than the regular 14 I think the notch is less distracting than the dynamic island it's kinda get lower in the screen
14 pro for me is too expensive. If given the chance I might just get the 13 pro instead of the regular 14.

I like to think of the 14 design to be similar to the iPhone 5 and 5s.. while the 14 Pro to be similar to the iPhone 4 and 4s. I love both designs but I went with the regular 14.

The feature of iPhone 14 that is admirable is 4K Cinematic Mode
which iPhone 13 Pro misses out.
I personally used the same and found good difference.
Not to mention the pastel and cool colours of Non Pro.

Personally, I think the best feature of the iPhone 14 is the implementation of the new safety features. While this might not be a groundbreaking feature for some people, it is undeniably very useful and you'll never know when you need it. As someone who got into a road accident a few years back, this is definitely something that I appreciate in a new smartphone. This goes to show that Apple really considers the safety and wellbeing of their customers. Keep up the great content, man! Can't wait to see more.

Gonna go for the 14, I’m not a power user that would get real use out of the cameras, the savings are worth it for me, I’ve always found the top spec iPhone somewhat cost prohibitive because of a feature I don’t use as much 😂

i like more the iphone 14 pro coz of the matte black back cover. It's looks so lit and the camera is more better than the 14. Over all they're pretty good phone. Its just depend on you how you choose.
