That’s EXACTLY what I was thinking. Just do a stage 2 tune on it, he has the mods required for it. Technically the car should be on a stage 2 tune. Also, he should get XHP stage 3 to remove torque limiters and shift even quicker.
It's testament to b58s how close it is to a stage 2 m3. You can see it how it dies up top, maybe it's capped on stage 1 to account for cats etc but would be great to see stg 2 so it can push the exhaust upgrades and all.

I have F82 with Stage 2, no hardware mods only tune making mid 500s. M340i, how much you need to spend to make mid 500s? And it still doesn't have M suspension which is huge when driving fast and around the canyons.
Why is it fake M poster ? What’s wrong with M340i ? Is Audi S4 fake RS ? Or c43 AMG fake c63 ……. These are less sportier versions for less money , not everyone can spend the money for the full blown version from their line up ☝️

@stockaf30 yeah true I do think b58 makes more sense to build for high hp applications especially for price difference, f80s imo are best left on stock twins plenty of juice and enjoy the twisties
F8X platform absolutely clears the M Three Hundred and Forty i (lol) stock for stock mod for mod. If you can afford it, go for a clean F8X series post LCI with competition pack. Suspension is adjustable and I love mine. Don't let the broke and delusional B58 kids fool you.
@@mistrkawz I bought an F80 Competition and returned it very quickly. The road noise is absolutely awful here in crappy UK roads. The lack of noise insulation along with those massive 20 inch wheels on low profile tyres plus the wheels being bolted directly on the subframe is annoying unless you're going on a spirited drive. I couldn't daily this car. If you're going to buy a weekend car you might as well buy a Caymen.

A stock M340i will beat a stock scat pack hands down. I tried it multiple times on mine. Now I’m stage 2 e50 and I’m beating hellcats from rolls, I’m xDrive so from a dig is just a waste of gas since they can’t even keep up on rolls.
I raced my friends f80 M3 Comp in my stock M340i xDrive and it was extremely close. We did multiple rolls and a dig. He couldn’t keep up in the dig.. But anyways, from a roll he got me by about half a car to 1 full car up top, from about 30-140.
B58 is a great engine, but unless you get upgraded turbo's, it's not touching a stage 2 S55.
