If ever there was a mother to son breeding that SHOULD HAVE taken place was the breeding of Ch. Honeybunch bred back to probably both of her sons, Ch. Jeep & Ch. Charlie. I also think what would have turned out to be an EXCELLENT breeding would have been Ch. Honeybunch bred to Gr. Ch. Art. Also Ch. Honeybunch bred to her grandson Gr. Ch. Outlaw IF time would have allowed that one to happen. At any rate, Ch. Honeybunch is my all-time favorite combat gyp and I truly admire the family she left behind. Respect to Ch. Honeybunch.
@@robertmitchell9529 I think you're right. It would have been a good breeding. Too bad they didn't make it to know if it worked or not. Art to Honeybunch is my dream breeding from the past.
Much respect !! But give me Greenwoods Ms Holliday before Honeybunch and Catch and Wrecks Saline who was a direct daughter of Hollingsworths Bodine and a 4xW with her last race going over 3hrs!! Amazing bitches !!
An empirical truth amongst canine breeders states that a Dam has a lot more influence on the pups than the Sire. So you want to get two healthy and champion dogs to start with but you want to focus as much as possible on the female(s) rather than the male(s). However, science tends to say that genes are inherited very closely to 50-50 and then some genes are more dominant than others in defining traits.
@SHAYDEE3 All true in my opinion. The female carries the pups and she is their first influence so the better a female she is the better the pups will be.
Thank you. I think they pull more from the female since she carries the pups and is their first influence but it's the male who creates life and determines the sex of the pups.
That is an interesting take Mr.Garcia and I feel I’ve been influenced that the male does influence more maybe 60/40….But I will definitely always take your word for it!
Hey Richard what's the difference in genetics with dogs and other animals..."aren't we all striving to express the traits we are all looking for " in whichever route you want to breed them...of course knowing your animals maybe the Dam side of that family might be more prominent to pass down them traits you looking for
@eduardovalenzuela2625 There's no difference if you're breeding for a purpose or a function,of any animal. The differences are the type of animal like mammal compared to fowl. The comment you made in quotations is spot on.
I have a dog that doesn't like rope toys or any mouth exercises but like to engage in physical contact with other animals. Any way I can get my dog to do mouth exercises?
Mr garcia i got question i got eli bred hound in i notcing whole litter has weird long limp tail they dont raise high like regular dogs mom double bred el drogo that were it comin from but would make them have funnt rears like that is it bad gentic thing tha cant get fixed
@richeyexclusivebullies976 Some dogs have that or they keep their tails in that position. It's not a bad thing as long as it doesn't interfere with movement and balance.
@richardgarciaschoolboy7746 I have noticed on my roosters. When I breed son to mom I don't loose size on the hens when I breed father to daughter hens come small
@Kakes157 Thank you. It could especially if the mother and son have an underbite or their ancestors have it. The less flaws the dogs have when you breed them, the better.
Hit the nail on the head…Once again another Great one Mr.Garcia

Maybe you have already tried animal hide if so I don't know what to tell you.
Can you register a linebred dog ?
@@bullseye4433 Yes. You can register any purebred pit bull no matter how it's bred
Yes as long as the sire and dam are registered.

What if you have more than one good son off the female. Which one do you choose?

Is under bite a bad physical trait even if the dog bites hard with it?? Should it be culled in the next generation??
@chikeeke2671 No it's not that bad as long as it doesn't interfere with his bite or it's not too pronounced.

For me father to daughter I lost size mother to son brought out bad traits such as mange and week teeth
