At 63 want to try and maintain my fitness training that looks after my strength for future years and my agility. More and more conscious now of aches and pains in my joints. Love my long hill walks getting my heart pumping, then 2/3 times a week some level of dumbbell workouts.
All sounds good. I am with you on the more conscious of aches and pains. I used to be able to ignore them, not sure much anymore. I shouldn't of quit drinking maybe lol. Thanks for sharing.
Great plan and goals! I'm trying to some weight and work out consistently. I'm not attaching any numbers I just want to be consistent and make better choices. Good luck 🦾
I'm 72 and I have read up a lot on fasting over the past few years. It's very challenging but I think it has huge benefits. It's a discipline and a half I tell you 😮
Yes it is challenging but once you get into a routine with it, it's easier than most think. I like the fact that after so many hours of fasting your body goes into a state of autophagy and starts healing it's cells. Better blood sugars and fat loss were also attractive to me.
18" arms WOW! that's huge. I have had my arms tipping 17"'s in my 30 - 40's but nowhere near that now. I like your goal of advancing in age. Never even thought of that lol.
My goals are to grow my legs, flatten belly, do more short cardio few times a week, and do balance exercises for easier mountain hiking. And have stronger grip and wrists.

@fordwayne3833 all sounds good to me. How often to you mountain bike?
Biking is something I don't do enough of.
@SilverStrengthFitness I hike with a small group, not bike.
@fordwayne3833 Oh, misread that. Hiking sounds good too. Something I have always wanted to do more of.
Working abs everyday is not how to get rid of belly fat.
I am aware of that. Abs are made in the kitchen. Strong core is made on the floor. I just made that core one up. 😃
@@SilverStrengthFitness The core is made by doing full body functional compound movements. I.E. using it the way it was evolutionarily supposed to be.
