Superb video 🙌 and I can attest to it being exactly as Alexander describes! Many thanks for being so welcoming, Alexander and for inviting me to tag along… you are a gentleman. 🙏👊💪
Alexander is a source of joy, he is the best guide in the world of watches. This year I only liked two watches; -New Tudor BB 41mm -Zenith Extreme Diver I really miss a JLC jlc geophysic 100WR and the Chopard LUC 1937 Classic 100WR Thank you Alexander for sharing more and more about watchmaking. I greet you from Nicaragua
Thank you, Alexander, for giving us the real 'Feel' of the W&W experience. You have the absolute BEST coverage of the Overall Event. Some of your viewers do not understand how your coverage varies from the Overall (this video) to the individual detailed reviews (other videos this week). Hopefully, they will exhibit the patience and understanding to know the level of effort you demonstrate to bring all the best of this show to us, who are still working back home! Keep It Up- Florida Loves You!
I love the loose feeling to these behind the scenes tours, I like that it's not so sterile and over-edited, you even include people walking through the shot and fans of watchadvisor saying hi. I really like when things are filmed in a more casual and carefree way it feels like I'm actually experiencing the show!
Looks wonderful thanks for taking us with you - great energy and passion for the watch industry whether a mega brand or independent: as always! What an exciting place.
Thanks, great to get a look around at the fair like this, get a feeling of the engery. Not only the watches interests me, but also things 'surrounding' them, the different brand's booths and so on
Vielen Dank für diese schöne Einführung; ich werde am Samstag u. Sonntag das erste Mal bei der Watches and Wonders sein u. freue mich schon mit großer Spannung darauf.
I never get to make it every year, despite me absolutely dying to go to watches and wonders. Thanks Alexander and team for the tour. Helps the rest of us enjoy and be there with you in spirit! Maybe next year?!?!
Very nice video! Would have loved to see a little bit more of the Bell&Ross stand, they came with really interesting releases and I feel they are a bit underrated
@@WatchAdvisor yes ofcourse, but you mentioned some stands more in depth than the others by talking about the brand and I would have enjoyed hearing more about B&R 😄. But like I said I really enjoyed the video and think you did a great job taking us with you!
Alexander- YOU are the star. We watch this channel because of you and of course because of the talented production team. But just watching your video's over the years the theme is how the watch industry big hitters greet you. With affection and respect. Other horology journalists they seem to tolerate, but not you. YOU are the star.
Been following Alexander for years, since the days of Basel World and SIHH. Your coverage is second to none, my friend. Truly appreciate your wonderful work 🙏🏻
Thank you for sharing such an intriguing and unconventional video! It was a delightful journey for me, exploring such a breathtaking location. IWC truly impressed with their eternal calendar... and how amusing to encounter a fan from Malaysia! (I follow you from Singapore)…
Fun to see. Been to Baselworld twice, 10 years between the visits. It seemed more hushed. This seems noisier. The main driver to leave Baselworld seemed to be cost and that it had grown too large. Would be fun to have a cost comparison, as in, did it make a difference?
I just bought a six-pack of Radeburger this afternoon in NJ. @17:15 I can't afford Lange and Sohn but I do have a few Glashutte Original watches. You do great work on this channel and what an excellent tour!
Man I would love to see those watches in person. I will never be able to afford them but I look at some them the same way as I do Monet. Artwork that I can be in awe of
Alexander you are the best! Thank you so much for making this video. I have wondered for years what it’s like to attend and now you showed us. Thank you! (Also, on another note, can you please do more Grand Seiko content?)
Thanks for sharing our passion! Sorry about Seiko… we have contacted them several times but they are not interested… 🤷🏽♂️ you as final customers should let them know…
I really enjoyed this video, because it’s a great overview of the trade show. I used to work trade shows in the outdoor industry so I have a bit of experience but W&W is certainly much nicer and more interesting to me now.
Errrr the guy went around and didn't show any watches! 😜 Jokes aside, I really enjoyed seeing the layout of the event. Great presentation, awesome energy!
I am missing your reviews... I guess not many watches released during the year anymore... I wonder what you might think this years W&W24? I thought it was a lackluster..
Since the demise of Baselworld I cannot help but question the relevance of Watches and Wonders with many major players no longer exhibiting there. I of course refer mainly to the Swatch Group, amongst others, but Umn, it’s just not the same anymore. Just my opinion. I’d be interested to hear what others think?
Thanks for your feedback! I am the “grandpa” with 30 years of experience in the watch industry in my team … all the others are +/- 30 years old … this combination is just perfect… I love to work with young people… they are the driving force and I steer the boat… tell them what’s right or wrong when it comes to watchmaking…
Well tastes are different… I personally like it… and I have been drinking it for a while now… always when I am in the region… but as an Austrian I will not start arguing with you… cheers 🍻
WatchAdvisor brings the best W and W content every year. Probably the most reliable unbiased watch reviews where the watches shine! 🙏

Thank you, that’s a great idea. I’ll tell Joe Kirk. I see him a lot at Grand Seiko events
At 3:34 Ben Clymer is in the background to the left hahah
I just was at the Lange Friends dinner together with him… we know each other for years…

Saw the thumbnail & though it was a Jim Bowen vid
He died in 2018…

The moon is every year getting farther from earth. By 45 million years. Way sooner BTW. The moon cycle will be different.

As a German and someone who lives in Dresden, I can say that Radeberger beer is the worst. This beer is definitely not recommended.
Well tastes are different… I personally like it… and I have been drinking it for a while now… always when I am in the region… but as an Austrian I will not start arguing with you… cheers 🍻
Radeberger ist ein sehr gutes Bier! 🍺
So ist es!
Uh the guy just walked around and didn't show the watches.
Watch advisor used to have the best W&W videos but last two years they have sucked.
Well… I recommend you to watch another channel …
lol shows the camera man but not the watches … what is this video ?! You had one job
Did you understand the purpose of this video or are you fooling us?
