  • Honorary Starters Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player and Tom Watson meet with the media following Thursday's Honorary Starter Ceremony.
    ---
Since 1934, the Masters Tournament has been home to some of golf’s greatest moments. Amidst blooming azaleas, towering pines and flowering dogwoods, the first full week of April ushers in a stage unique to golf and to sport. Over four days and 72 holes, the smallest field in major championship golf competes for a chance to capture the Green Jacket and a place in Masters history.

Gary player is a legend. Speaks the truth and the lame stream media are going to sadly attack him for it

While Tiger played better than anyone in his generation, he always spoke and gave great respect to those that came before him. The greats of the game. These men did so as well their whole lives. I'd love to see more younger great pros do so instead of talking endless about " my team ". Yes you can afford to pay for 10 different people to make it easier but what about the old pros that paid with sweat and blood to pave the roads so you can drive your Ferrari on the way to a private jet so you can play golf this week for a piece of $18,000,000.

It's always wonderful to hear each of these men speak. There is so much wisdom on this panel. I'm grateful to hear from them for 45 minutes on a Thursday night.

It is always an absolute joy to watch true legends of the game talk about the game. One of, possibly my favorite moment of every Masters.

The first reporter speaks worse English than Tiger. This is his job and he had a challenging time asking a question. Who pays him? This is supposed to be a room of "elites." Shameful.

3 joyous gentlemen of the game, so many fantastic memories, I kinda grew up watching Tom Watson, his game was magical his swing perfect he has been a total gentleman and a fantastic role model for any human, inside or outside the ropes.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Watson in 07 or 08 in Md at a Champions Tour event. Between 18th green and the scorers trailer he stopped, signed an autograph, and proceeded to chat with me about golf, football, and life for at least 5 minutes, don't know because I was just so thrilled!. I was blown away by his genuine demeanor and humility. We need more people like Tom Watson in this world. Did y'all know that he helped David Feherty get on the path to sobriety?

There are no words for how listening to these special, talented, and wise men makes me feel. I had the pleasure of meeting Tom between the 18th green and the scorer's trailer at a Champions Tour event in Maryland about 2007. He was just special and gave me at least five minutes of his time! Our game is sorely lacking individuals such as these in 2024.

These older gentlemen are role models! But no matter the score- LIV players should not be here. They got rich on the PGA TOUR, they made the fortunes on that tour, they once got the chance to play these incredible events by playing the TOUR and then they turn around and spit in its face by accepting blood money from an oppressive regime which disregards human rights and executed more than 100 people last year. Role models, ethical values ? Not with LIV players. Money is all that counts - no matter what they say.
