Ready to hit the course and break 110 after watching this. Let's go fellas.
Ambitious! Love it
You should be on the range learning how to hit the ball if you can’t break 110 instead of holding up players on the course
Maybe a lesson or two wouldn’t hurt either
that’s nice! what about on the back 9?
Give yourself some credit… you’ll break 109
“You’ll learn.” Nah buddy, YOU’LL learn.
good on him for at least admitting he was wrong
Tigers peak was ridiculous. Imagine winning all four majors in a row and holding every trophy at once. To top it off during that run he won the US Open by 15 shots and the British Open at the home of Golf St Andrews. Also the players championship as a cherry on top. When Tiger says he's injured, Tiger really is injured.
Boy he really was something special in his prime. . .It was like watching someone will the ball to his command. It was amazing seeing him in person. Him and Mj are the only 2 ppl i saw in person who truly had in aura about them. .Its hard to describe, but if you were there in person. You understand. . Time almost stood still watching him putt standing there greenside Sunday at a major
Tiger the man himself, THE 🐐 ❤
I've watched Tiger's entire professional career. I've seen just about every great moment of that career as it has happened on my television at home. I'm 39 years old. I will be dead and gone before ANY human being even comes CLOSE to touching his career. That's a pretty good way to sum it all up. I've still got about another 42 years to go if you believe the averages... And it won't even come close to happening while I'm still breathing. Tiger is/was once in a lifetime.
Imma be just Tiger
Idk man Scottie’s promising
Dudes won 10 times mate. Only another 110 to go !! And 11 more years as world number 1. 🎉🎉🎉 @seth-co2mv
@@seth-co2mv Oh, I love watching Scottie play the game. But he has to stay hot for 11 more years, win a ton more majors and grow the sport in the MAINSTREAM the way Tiger did to reach Tiger's status. It's a tall tall tall task... And Scottie doesn't seem to prioritize that in his life. His family comes first over everything including the game. I'm not sure he'll stick around that long...
3:32, tigers mentality of entering a tournament to try and win pushed him in the right direction. His mental game is the reason he is the goat.
Agreed even tiger said himself early in his career that there are other guys that have better short game or are better putters of the golf ball than him but felt that he had the mental advantage over everybody
Greatest athlete of all time. No one dominated their respective sport like Tiger. No one.
It's been a pleasure to watch Tiger's entire career. He was the first golfer that was actually considered an athlete. He changed the game. These young guys who put an emphasis on gym time and athleticism (Brooks, Rory, Bryson, etc) that's all Tiger's influence.
During the height of his career, Wayne Gretzky came to mind more than any other athlete.
i think Gretzky's the only athelete you can truly compare to tiger
He was the god of golf for two decades
What a great pity and very unfortunate that multiple major injuries/operations and personal issues got in the way and disrupted his golf career success for that decade and what could have been had had all that not happened! Still things happen for reason and he has given all such joy on the course! Above all he has inspired today's top GOLFERS, brought a great of sports fans to golf, and made golf exciting and open to a global fan base and players! Well done, brother and blessings🎉🎉🎉
Glad this is back up didn't get to finish it !
Tiger 🐅 I dont think we will see that again for a while.
Fantastic video. The absolute GOAT in every meaning of the word.
Tiger had the Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, mentality of he would spend hours and hours working just to improve a little bit here or there. That work ethic is why he’s the greatest and will hold so many records forever in golf. Hearing one of the greatest announcers of all time in Jim Nantz speak in such awe of him really shows you just how amazing tiger was
The greatest ofall, I would love to see him win at least one more.
"Simply the best"....beautiful video...beautiful thoughts...beautiful energy...beautiful memories...must I go on...
Yeah the fed ex cup started in 2007… say it started in 2000… the GOAT would have 8 of those.
Well I’m 50 , and if I was to die tomorrow, my sports life has been amazing , Jordan start to finish , Eldred woods , and I’m a Yankees fan , and Syracuse native, my sports life was probably the best ever
Great history lesson and what an incredible golfer and person.
Best part of this video is watching Curtis Strange 3:37 eat that sh*t eating grin of his face to young Tiger! Not so funny afterwards 4:47 hahahaha LOL
So inspiring, what a legend
Scottie should be able to win for more years than Tiger with good health. Time will tell.
They are both great players.
Thank you Cat 🐅
And there’s really debate on who’s the goat. It’s Tiger and will always be Tiger in my lifetime
Truly the greatest athlete to ever live, and most dominant for sure. Only person that even comes close is Gretzky or Phelps
Serena Williams superior to all of them!😊❤
I can’t stop laughing!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@davidgivins4203Don’t forget the great male tennis players too.
@@MediaLieDetector no sir that's how dominate Serena Williams was and her career is! Look at her accomplishments! Tiger woods was a movement like Michael Jackson at his peak!
@@davidgivins4203 Tiger beat golf courses. Serena beat opponents. Also check out Martina Navratilova. She holds more records than Serena and all the Male players ever.
US open in 08 was great. Called out on Monday lol
I know this was about Tiger, but I gotta say I love Jim Nantz so damn much. Great T.V. play by play announcer in all of sports.
He has the perfect voice and such a good interviewer.
What a video!!❤🐅🐐
Would love to see an interview with Curtis Strange about that sit down the tiger.
He's been asked about it, he just brushes it off and basically says "who knew".
Ludvig is now 24 and just played in his first major....at age 24 Tiger completed the career grand slam
That interviewer was the one who was cocky and doubtful about Tiger. I am glad to see Tiger making history while that 'nobody' is sobbing at home right now rethinking about his life.
"You'll learn". Maybe the worst aged comment in sports history.
to realize the expression 'lights out' is coined by Tigers shot in the dark really shows what a legend he truly is
🐐
8 wins in 1999 is just unspeakable, talk about locked in
Is this a video of goodbye?
Why is the music so damn loud, can’t even hear the people speaking
Where’s the first tee and what’s the course record?
🐅
W pga
3:22 lol was Curtis Strange doubting Tiger?
Nice job w the audio this time!
24, 25 is when you peak? Dammit, I'm going on 30 and just a 20+ handicap. So there is no hope?
Did Strange ever take his foot out of his mouth??
just one comment never heard of Jack proofing a golf course .
ahh finally with some fixed audio!
So sad I was to young to witness prime tiger…
Even if you don’t think Tiger is the GOAT, no matter what, he’s better than most…
Audio still f’ed up
Awesome Mathematician 🎯⛳
Talk about eating the ultimate humble pie.. Curtis Strange got slammed
backgroud music is way 2 loud
Kind of funny and ironic that the “Tiger Greatness” show starts at Riviera, where Tiger has never won
As Crazy-GREAT as Tiger's pro career is, his Amateur Career will never, ever be touched...
6-STRAIGHT years of USGA Match Play Championships!!!
1991 - U.S. Junior Amateur, Boys 15-17 Junior World Golf Championships, Orange Bowl International Junior
1992 - U.S. Junior Amateur, Insurance Youth Golf Classic
1993 - U.S. Junior Amateur
1994 - U.S. Amateur, Western Amateur, Pacific Northwest Amateur
1995 - U.S. Amateur, College All-America Golf Classic
1996 - U.S. Amateur
Stanford (1994-1996) - William Tucker Invitational, Jerry Pate Invitational, Stanford Invitational, John Burns Invitational, Southwestern Intercollegiate, Tri-Match, The Brawl, Cougar Classic, PAC-10 Championship, NCAA West Regional, NCAA Championship
"the next 3 majors were positive" yeah i'd say so
Rory was lucky the PGA didn't start fedex cup til like 2008 or 2009. If they had started that sooner tiger would have had atleast 5 or 6 fedex cups. I always thought it was lame myself.
Music is way to loud
9:44 *Only because Rahm left.
Curtis Strange is a bum for telling Tiger “you’ll learn”
Even if you brought your best…you couldn’t catch him
Keep in mind that Tiger never beat any other player.
Tiger beat golf courses. He destroyed golf courses.
Rory will never win Augusta
I hope this comment here fuels him
first
I hated to see his masters performance 😢
He broke records not record books.
congratulations now do that 9 more times” 🤣😆😂 love the tiger trash talk. Jack Nicklaus is the greatest major champion of all time no question on top of his 18 wins he finished second an incredible 19 times. But he never won a major by double digits. tiger is the greatest golfer to ever walk the face of the earth because if the margin and frequency in which he won these are almost super human statistics and he is also one of the few people that’s internationally recognizable by their first name alone we will never see another And although each iteration of his swing was nearly technically perfect, his fitness is legendary he looked more like a football player than a golfer, and because of that he could hit the ball a mile and so high he could spin his long irons and he’s hit some of the best recovery shots from deep rough nobody thought was possible I once saw him hit a pitching wedge from like 185 from 5-6 inch rough and stiffed it the famous 7 iron at pebble on the par 5 6th is another example, the way he always clutches up being a master of clutching up and manufacturing shots and willing putts into the hole when he needed them, certainly one of the best short games of all time and IMO the best iron player of all time, and he had the intimidation factor but out of all of his great attributes the greatest was the space between his ears he was unflappable he’s not coming back to you, you have to go get him and no matter how big his lead was he was always trying to add to it instead of playing defensively which has cost a lot of great players wins but not tiger he wanted to step on their throats he was a cold blooded killer out their he was a no nonsense guy in his prime 100% tunnel vision into his own little world and he was able to win so early in his career and the 97 masters after shooting 40 on the front Thursday is because he was so mentally tough so young he knew his capabilities and he expected to win right away making Curtis strange eat those words by topping his entire career in a few short years it wasn’t until he came back from the back injury that he became a lot more social and fan friendly you can tell how much that humbled him because he thought he was done a lot of professional athletes crumble under pressure he is one of the rare ones that can harness the pressure and the nerves and all the doubt to get the absolute best from himself he’s cut from the same cloth as guys like Tom Brady and Michele Jordan only difference is tiger didn’t have a team to fall back on he had to do it all by himself. I heard you say his records would take a lifetime to break I’ll take that a step further looking at all the crazy stats tiger has in scoring average, weeks at number one, tied for all time wins, making 142 straight cuts and 25 straight at the masters, taking all that into consideration and more I don’t even think if you gave some of the best hall of famers golfers of all time multiple lifetimes they wouldn’t be able to do what he did
To put LeBron name in with Michael Jordan is shameful
That didn't age well Curtis.
Try to get their 😂😅😊❤
Never see it again NOPE.
Tiger’s flame burned brighter for half as long.
His lack of self discipline off the course was his downfall.
We have seen this happen many, many times over the years.
Perhaps huge amounts of money have something to do with it.
The good books says...Thou shalt not make any idols.
OMG already.. ya we get it... MOVE ON PGA!!!
yet here you are commenting right after they drop the vid....
Get used to it bc tiger woods will always be talked about in the game of golf. He is the gold standard
🐐
