I watched the riots in Los Angeles back in 1992 and men this brings back memories when I had to stay home for three or four days. All happened when the officers who beated Rodney King were acquitted and that released the anger in the African-American community. I know they're mad about what happened in Minneapolis but that's not the reason to destroy your beautiful city or country.

No one is being oppressed. The vast overwhelming majority of these police brutality cases involve resisting arrest and people generally don't get arrested for being upstanding citizens.

It's common practice for plants to be sent to join peaceful protests and suddenly start causing trouble. The riot police are then sent in and it goes all over the news. The result is what was a peaceful protest with a just cause gets instantly made to look like a bunch of trouble-makers and helps undermine them.

This reminds me about the protests that happened in 1992 LA cuz of the Rodney King beating
Rodney needed his ass beat after the way he flew through the city at more than 100 mph wrecking into peoples property and endangering lives. If he had killed some innocent people, it would have been justified. Although not the proper way of delivering a punishment I'll agree! But he was crazy hopped up on some PCP. It was about what it took to get him under control, so he could be taken into custody.
