Same here, turned 50 and decided to change my lifestyle.
8 months later lost nearly 60 pounds and gained 16 pounds of muscle.
My goal, losing another 40 pounds and weigh around 250 pounds (normal for my size, 6.6ft), have a better physique and be able to do Muscle ups and things like that.

37 & I watch Jesse’s videos regularly, usually helps me get through cardio. On my 3rd year of taking fitness serious and he has definitely been an inspiration. 💪

The gym is insane, I wish I could have something like that. One recommendation I could make would be to mirror the walls, so you can watch yourself, I feel like that would make the gym absolute perfection

As an architect you need more light and mirrors there and more color to keep it energetic since its a sports area. Mirrors can make inside more bright also i suggest you put cardio equipment in front of windows. Add more decoration to walls and its golden.

It looks gorgeous! Money well spent and all the effort was worth it. I would add some machines, especially the row machine (that was shown in the Fusion gym) and the chest press machine. But, overall, it does its job more than adequately. Keep it up. If I had a lot of money, this is honestly the second thing I'd buy (the first would be a space to fit those equipments).

Absolutely epic cant beat having your own home gym can set the vibes to your leisure and dont have to share it with a bunch of people, i have been training exclusively from my home gym for the past 4 years and would never go back, having your own gym gear is the best feeling and motivation is through the roof to always be improving and striving for more, excellent home gym brother well deserved for sure! Put in the hard work and reap the rewards 👌
Try setting up your stair master and treadmill facing the other way. Makes cardio much more enjoyable when you’re not staring at a wall.

All these pieces of equipment are also my dream pics for a home gym. I noticed there was no specific one for heavy weighted chest presses, but that very first cable equipment looked promising. Jesse can probably also use the smith machine to do bench press movements or skull crushers with greater safety since I doubt he will have a spotter. Overall this is my dream list of equipment and I am thoroughly jealous. Now he needs to add mirrors and that jewelry store level downlighting and it will be awesome for pictures too.

I think the only thing you are missing is any type of chest supported row machine and maybe even a belt squat machine. You got the essentials so its not necessary but i guess it would add a nice touch to your awesome gym

I love the fact that you can just go to the fitness center, point at what you want and buy it without having to think about it. Your gym looks great! You look like you still have some room to add maybe another peice of equipment later on. All you need now is some mirrors and a few posters (or paintings) and your all set. Enjoy!😊
@OfficialJesseJameswest You could place some paintings of “your “ favorite bodybuilder(s),or posters on your walls with some strategically placed mirrors to get that full gym effect. Heck, you could even put yourself( possibly the girlfriend) as well on the wall. It’s your gym. Have at it!👍🫡💪🏻
