The Ace Combat 2 Theme is still amazing!
I feel like the realism is missed in GT7, it just feels like the car is constantly sideways through the corner, tires squealing as well (contant).
That was always the case since GT4. I didnt expect much improvement from GT7 since its multiplatform game, I hope they are planing GT8 exclusively for PS5 to take use of that much more powerful processor than that tablet jaguar they had in PS4. If you look requirements for something thats demanding like BeamNG or iRacing for example, recommend specs are 8core 3Ghz.
Yeah right, what do you expect? 900 hp on stock tires! For sure it will slide like crazy. Have you ecer driven ne Nordschleofe IRL?!
Of course your tires are constantly going to squeal if you drive over 100kmhs hard through the corners like he did in the video especially because he is only driving with sports tires and with nearly 1000hp its also kinda normal to slide a lot even with AWD going to the limit like that. Did you guys ever like ... maybe drove a car before? or seen a car driving fast? All that stuff is pretty normal, its not like in need for speed or fast & furious movies lol

Thats the case with street cars on street tyres. in this case it appears to have sports mediums on, still a street tyre. slap on racing hards at a minimum and you can get away with TC off and not have major problems.
@@outlander234 Iracing is a very well optimised game, beamng however is a bit of a pain, it requires a monster cpu for it to run well.
really hoping for porsche to come out with a future version of the 918! I really want to see what they changed and how they improved it (mainly with the understeering aspect)

Driving for real on the Nordschleife? You'd be three mins off the pace and want your mommy 🤣🤣
You should do these with tire and fuel on 1x and grip off track to real instead of low. There are currently some bugs with the 918 specifically the hybrid and the gearing.
Fuel on 1x simulates the weight of the fuel, but it makes you start on a full tank... nobody hotlaps with a full tank, I don't think it's very realistic
@@alelecci Sadly, GT7 doesn't have fuel weight simulation like in iRacing.
Although, unlike iRacing, GT7 does simulate the fuel consumption and saving, which was implemented since GT5-6.
@@don_k20 I noticed (at least in gt sport, didn't test in gt7) that I was seconds slower at le mans with a ferrari p4 with 100% fuel, and my times improved with an emptier tank. On top of that, top drivers rev like crazy before the start to burn that 2-3% of fuel to gain even a fraction of a tenth
So yeah, it is simulated

This is probably the most comfortable/ enjoyable /powerful car you can drive in Gran Turismo 7
Love you vids, can you do the same treatment as this video for the mclaren f1? it got a supposed 7:11 with Mika Hakkinen on the wheel (i know, a bit optimistic, but who knows)
I'd love to see what it will do stock in gt7, maybe with a bit more modern road tyre than stock
Not sure how that is optimistic when it has better power to weight than this 1.5+ ton hog.
I`m such a huge fan of GT7, too. It is just so good! Everything is fun. I dont even have to play multiplayer :)
Can't wait for an update to gt7 to fix the 918. The gears are horrendously long and there's a few bugs with the motor/engine that make it weird to drive
Gt7 is beautiful looking game and have fantastic car models also love the fact that they really have step up the car sounds, but for me it starting to get a bit boring for the lack of career content, i have jumped in assetto corsa and have about 2500 cars downloaded go to get me plenty of time to enjoy the cars their is for assetto corsa
You should do one where you race niki lauda (maybe you should be James hunt)
For road cars, I don't think you can get better than Assetto Corsa for realism in terms of driving and circuits
GT7 looks much better. I don't have a PS5, so I just have to work with Project Cars 2 and AC/ACC
@@deadlybladesmith3093 In standard form yes but csp makes assetto look better yet. Also assetto is leagues above in physics and dynamics
@@benchaggaresmusic i agree assetto corsa can look as good as gt7 with csp some of high quality car mods can match gt7 car models, but some cars can look bad too but their plenty of quality car mods avaialble with gt7 car quality you could proably still get 1000 cars or more, i find assetto corsa more enjoyable at the moment becouse of the more content avaialble i am going to try srp it looks amazing
If you put the fully customizable racing transmission in this, you get 7 gears and it completely changes the way the way you can drive it.

The electric motors don't work in gt7, check the ecu/power restrictor and differential if you need proof
The power meter says otherwise. It does regenerate under braking but the meters do go down. There is your proof. Ermz does NOT turn on fuel and tire wear which makes his results utter trash.
@@SpatialDragon Until they add ability to set a fuel amount on start, doing a hotlap with fuel consumption is pointless - no lap record was set with a full tank

I would pay €100 for Granturismo 7 to bring back Monaco, Silverstone, Toyota GT-ONE, Minolta Toyota 88 CV, BMW V12 LMR, Bentley Speed 8, Nissan R390, Porsche 911 GT1 from Le Mans, Panoz Esperente, Dodge Viper Team Oreca, Audi R8 from 2001, Playstation Pescarolo, Lister Storm, Giliet Vertigo and also add the Corvette C8 road car and GT3 race car.

You forgot to put on the Weissach package, but ngl 918 is not as good as the GT3, GT3RS, or GT2RS on track.

The gearing seems to be wrong. 3rd should go to about only 180kph on the 918
ya , the 3rd should finish in 180, that is why the car feels so long gearing

Nice, cant wait for the turbo s to be added the gt3 is faster cause its lighter with better aero & downforce and only a fraction of seconds slower to the quarter mile speeds where most of this track lives at, minus the 3 straights and an uphill climb. please do the laferrari or mclaren p1 next

I don't like when the camera is locked to the car from the 3rd person view. Having only one monitor, cockpit view in some cars has limited viewing angle, so sometimes I switch to 3rd person view. AC, ACC and GT7 have this hardlocked camera that disorient me when the car slides. 98% of the time I overcorrect and the car loses traction completely.
There are a few settings you need to change which changes the 3rd person view completly!!

@@tweed0929 No GT7 Go into settings, display settings, Adjust view, change the view- increase everything... Don't know if you'll like it or no but me and my friends think it changed the viewpoint we looked at the cars and the view!

this car in gt7 the gear is wrong
It is my go to Hypercar. You have to turn on the fuel and tire usage. You really are a hack. Maybe you need to stay in you go to, Beam NG. It seems to be the game you find the most realistic, which says a lot.
The graphics are cool, but everything else is lacking IMO

The sounds on GT7 is so bad, the physics look pretty bad too vs AC
No actully sounds are pretty good in gt7 its their best so far in the series, not perfect through, they proably have the best pop and bangs sound of any racing game

@@ecotts i have heard plenty of cars in real life, gt7 have some great sounds not all through but its the best it has ever been in series, pop and bangs i mention is better in gt7 than most other racing titles, they do pretty well considering how many cars they aim for, i have driven supercars in real life like Porsche 911 gt3 clubsport, Lamborghini huracan perfomente, Ferrari 488 gtb, i own a Honda civic type r fk2 and its pretty close sounding in game to real thing, the murcielago through is their best never heard a better sounding murcielago than in gt7, witch is supricing considering how horrible the car sounds use to be in like the old games, assetto corsa is better but its not strange considering how well mod support it has, but some car mods you download can both look and sound terrible but the good mods sound and look incrediable in assetto corsa

Because his not a gate keeper. Sim racing is about having fun regardless if " iTs NoT a ReAl SiM". Gt7 will bring more people into Sim racing than any other game because of its reach and that's a good thing. More people= more interest, more interest in Sim racing means we get more games and better content and better competition in peripherals
