    So, I applied with my older brother who has a 715 credit score but his income is only $12,000. I don't have a long term established credit history only 12 months and make $10,000 a year.
    Due to past medical costs my parents filed bankruptcy twice= bad credit. Together they make $144,000 a year but their negative credit history drives up the interest rate.
    I need $6,000 for school.
    How do I approach this?

      There may be opportunities out there for a private student loan from some organizations - we suggest starting with those on our list and see what options they may have available.

    I’m at a rocky road right now. I’m planning to enroll at an online degree program from another school beginning of October but I’m already at another school. I decided I want to transfer when this semester already started due to personal reasons. I can still withdraw from all the classes I’m currently taking from my current school but I already poured some money out of pocket with the help of parents, a 3k scholarship, and an unsubsidized loan.
    Transferring to this other school with the online program I want to enroll in soon will cost me to give up the scholarship I have. Is there a way I can can get some money that I already payed for back where there’s some way to be approved of any refunds?
    Another thing I want to ask is what’s the best approach to getting a loan, whether it’s through the school I want to transfer to or a personal loan? I’m looking at tuition for this school and it’s roughly 4k a semester at most. How do personal loans exactly work when it comes to making a payment and how long after accepting the loans do you have to make payments? Reply when you can because this will be so helpful!

    Hello, I have a doubt which i can't able resolve. I'm an international student, I got an no-cosigner education loan and my loan is approved and certified. But the problem is, the loan doesn't cover my visa/ sevis fee. As i have no relatives or friends who can financially help, I'm stuck on searching for alternate ways to pay those fees. Do you have any suggestions for me ? Looking forward to hearing from you.

    • @TheScholarshipSystem
      @TheScholarshipSystem  2 года назад +3

      You can apply for the loan once you have confirmed enrollment for your chosen school. After loan approval, your school's financial aid office needs to certify the loan. Since every school has a different deadline and process, you should check with your school's financial aid office for a better timeline.

      It really just depends on the individual loan provider. There are some that, based on other factors (possibly income, credit score, etc), could negate the need for a cosigner.
