I honestly am crying from the last thing she said about not feeling like you ahve any worth and her story about the "rape" scene Rita really Is an icon and as a Latina I am proud to have representation liked her she honestly reminds me of my own grandmother
this show is like a big hug from my family! i live in a different country as them right now, but it brings me all the joy and memories of growing up, it helps with the homesickness ♥
It's just amazing because when you watch the show, you can really tell that Rita enjoys playing Lydia (like she says in the interview). You can see how much she loves doing it and that's just beautiful!! She's an amazing actress and Lydia is an amazing character. Congrats!!!
i am one of those that was fortunate to see her both on bwy and in the movie WEST SIDE STORY. As maria and as anita in the movie. i am puertorican. she has always been a woman i am proud of as well as the deceiced Raul julia(gomez ) in both movies of the Adams Family. she is beautiful for an 87 yr old. god bless her.
I love love love the show!!!!! I also watched all of season 3. I'm an Irish Canadian. They deal with a lot of great issues!! If you want to see Rita Moreno in a 360° different role watch the tv show OZ! She can play any role!!
I'm german and I have nothing to do with Latin Americans but I love this show so, so much! It's one of the best shows ever. It really amazes me how they can talk about such serious topics such as LGBTIAQ- rights, war, depression, religion, migation, minority rights, feminism, etc. and still be so funny. And I adore Rita Moreno. She is a sensation. I could watch her acting day in and day out...
As a spaniard living in London, is refreshing to see somebody with an accent stronger than yours. We are exactly like that when we speak (this is exaggerating a little bit).
french white girl with a hispanic family and it's the non-hispanic side which relates the most to their family (I felt the vicks vaporub deeply XD). Also I just love the show because it's just well written and all the representation's a great bonus
Puerto Rico colonized by Dutch and French? Not right, colonized by Spanish and Americans. Rita, please check your puertorrican history! So proud of you!!!!

She's gorgeous.
I was shocked about her real age! I thought she was in her 60s. Stunning!
I want her doctor. Perfectly natural look
I‘m always like „where is her accent“😂😂
For real. And the fact that she’s actually Latina, is crazy cuz she really has no accent
She fakes the accent when she’s acting, she came to NYC from Puerto Rico when she was 3 yrs old.
White Australian guy here and I freaking LOVE the show. Rita & the crew are awesome.
She truly is a national treasure! I love her so much! Hope that the movie won't make her to busy for a potential season 4 🤩

She is so wonderful, and I love this show because it's an ensemble cast with a lot going on but not too heavy or depressing, just very enlightened.

Thanks for this! Ms. Moreno is fascinating to listen to and what an icon, girl!
The make up scene mentioned Julio Iglesias, not Andy Garcia. Andy Garcia came about on her bouquet list :) I love her!

Legend
The interviewer is so nervous aww
🇵🇷 you are beautiful Rita! ¡Querendona!
Why is the theme song to this Build show a take on "We 3 Kings"?
Puerto Rico colonized by Dutch and French? Not right, colonized by Spanish and Americans. Rita, please check your puertorrican history! So proud of you!!!!
She probably meant there were some Dutch and French immigrants.
And she completely forgot to add how Africans that were brought as slaves influenced the island and made afro latinos
Well, they invaded, as well as the British. I think that is what she meant.
Puerto Rico had a lot of French and Dutch immigrants before Spain and USA took over. She just used the wrong word.
Everytime the host says Latino, take a drink
🤣 I don't wanna be drunk this early
I always like America version from the movie more than the Broadway show
But but but......where's her accent 😂
I love this show! However there was no Black Cuban representation and that is problematic.
