"Beyond the Sea" was a big hit for Bobby Darin in 1959. The song is the English-language version of the French song "La Mer" by Charles Trenet. Instrumental versions were recorded by Harry James and His Orchestra in 1947 and by Benny Goodman in 1948 and featured in a Cary Grant rom-com.
