this game is awesome, feels like its slipped under the radar a bit which is a shame but I'm enjoying it so much!
It's weird how the demo had a bunch of buzz a couple years ago but now that the game is actually out nobody is paying attention to it

yeah hopefully we can get this game to be popular through word of mouth, it has so many hidden themes that could be analyzed, especially since this dev studio really loves hidden themes

Myth please go back to the first boss you literally skipped the first area entirely and haven't unlocked core aspects of the game XD you're also going to have like a bad story pacing since you haven't met a super important character you're supposed to meet first after defeating the first boss which you didn't do...
The map robot was 1000, but they patched it to 100. If you go back to the robot at the entrance of where you met Kuafu, you can get the map chip for that area from him

@@system_ai9248 I think they're talking about repairing the robot you turn the map chips in to get the detailed maps (which was indeed patched from 1000 to 100). The cost of getting each map chip is still 800.

This game is not going to get the credit it deserves because of toxic Hollow Knight fans keeping down every metroidvania, but Nine Sols is the best 2d mv gameplay wise.
Nah dont worry. For a lot of hollow knight fans waiting for silksong this is an amazing game to make the wait easier. Nine sols really took more of a sekiro turn so it has difrerent things to offer than hollow knight. I would say that both hk and nine sols are in the top 5 gaming experiences i ever had.
As a hardcore Hollow Knight fan, I love this game as much as I loved Hollow Knight. Idk about Hollow Knight fans being "toxic", maybe only the ones who can't handle waiting for Silksong and make a tragedy out of it. The general community is pretty chill if you ask me.
@@zythel341 I've seen some HK fans already spouting shit because they don't understand the combat flow of this game is different to HK's flow. I'm just glad this is a minority.

When Myth puts a character's name in the intro darkness withou any sort of joke, it tells of how seriously that impacted him.
This character's name and weapon made me look up Xingtian in mythology, and apparently he's a creature who took up an axe and shield to fight the gods just for the sake of defying them. He had his head cut off but keeps on fighting anyway, which led to him becoming a sort of symbol of being relentless and indomitable if i'm not mistaken.
You never watched him play Xingtian in Smite, did you?

The fact that he is able to miss the first boss hurts me so much,hope he can find Kuafu as soon as possible,but I am also impressed on him beating the later bosses.

I just found out about this game, it is called Blazblue Entropy Effect, it's like Hades but side scrolling, sounds like your jam, i think you would enjoy it.
He played it for a while, don't remember if he finished it though. I agree the game is a banger, the blazblue universe as a whole is really sick

Dude, I'm watching you play this. I am not seeing you have fun. Im watching you get killed and frustrated by an extremely terrible combat system.
The game is just blah. The story, the combat, it's all undercooked - the default difficulty is too punishing (cool that we have options but not cool that the game equates them to "easy mode") and the super insistence on parrying only works if your parry mechanic is god-tier (Sekiro), NOT if it's Lies of P's little brother from Wish (and Lies of P is We Have Sekiro at Home when it comes to parrying, so I'll let you work that one out). The music is mind-numbingly stupid and repetitive, the story is totally ridiculous, the only real winner here is the graphics, which was what drew me in in the first place. Still passed the game, on default settings (cause, cheevos), but ugh, it wasn't a great experience. Definitely not an underrated game, just an underbaked one.

For u only i already at the fourth boss and i can say i enjoy this game more than hollow knight (dont ask me idk why) i just compare when i first play hollow knight and nine sols. To me nine sols have more good impact than hollow knight
