For some strange reason my V60 after recording videos and pressing the stop record button the phone will take up to 20 seconds to save the video in my library. Have you or anyone else experienced this? I like the wider field of view from the Velvets main rear camera sensor. The V60's front and rear main camera sensors have too narrow a field of view.
They are essentially the same price considering the V60 has been around a while and discounts can be found so why not choose the phone " with all the bells whistles"? Plus quad DAC and a much larger battery. The V60 was my choice and so far I love it. Even with heavy usage I can't drain the battery in one day.
I tried to hold the v60 comfortably in my hand and I hand large size hands and its a tad bit difficult to use daily. I also held the velvet and its feels much better and the viewing experience is very identical to the V60
I'm not a girl with smallish hands so the V60's size is a non issue. With all the things the V60 does better especially Quad DAC and battery life it's a no brainier which phone is best for me.
The V60 definitely has better dynamic range in pictures. Video is pretty neck and neck but it looked like the V60 had some focusing issues. The velvet has a better looking FFC with video. Audio sounds better on the V60.

Yeah almost every big reviewer says this phone looks good but has a poor camera even for $600. But in a few more in depth and unbiased reviews that actually showed photo comparisons the velvet could even hold its own in some situations against the google pixel 4a and s20 ultra. And they all complain about how the 765g isnt the more expensive and completely unnecessarily powerful 865 or 865+ that a lot of worse looking, poorer build quality and far less polished and less feature packed phones from china have. When in reality 90% of phone buyers dont even use the cpu on the galaxy s9 to its maximum and that thing gets smashed by the 865. The lg velvet is a true flagship phone with all the build quality and many of the features of a $1000 Samsung or iphone for almost half the price.
@@subject204ghost3 Indeed. I have an ip 11 but was considering going back to android. Still have my s9 but the v60 really caught my eye (thanks Gadgetmatch 😩) and the Velvet. Seeing the comparison has me torn now. I just want the dual screen and Samsung and Huawei are way too expensive.

Things no normal humam really ends up needing on their phone anyways. If you like the display of the ip11 then youll love the displays of lgs flagships since lg makes the displays for iphones.
V60 could not focus on the tree for some reason. It was very focused on Velvet in comparison. Also at 4:21 that tower closeup is sooo different. Velvet is very sharpened but with the white halo all over the tower. V60 was not crazy sharpened at all. Man I'd say its a tie.
I own a iPhone 12 and a V30 as my daily I just got the lg velvet for a 2nd only because of the super deal. I haven’t got to really get in to it but this video help see that I didn’t get a trash phone. Thanks

Front camera video and low light I preferred the Velvet. Rear camera video and still shots I prefer the V60. I thought audio was great on the V60 and poor on the Velvet. Other than audio I thought the Velvet did good. I wouldn't buy it though. 🤷🏿♂️

Give got the v60 and with the battery its a beast I watch a lot of you tube videos and do a lot of emails I have yet to kill the battery in a day I only charge it when I'm sleeping
Velvet definitely took good pictures compared to the v60... Maybe not better but not worse IMO. The audio was terrible on the Velvet. Video quality looked great, but what were thinking when they put that trash mic on this phone?
The v60 is awesome but the velvet a big bang for the buck. Like I said before, this maybe the best device that LG has ever produced and that's saying a lot. A lot of potential. Yes, it's a mid-range device but you don't have to have all of the bells and whistles to be the best out there. It's about the quality, the experience and value. The 765g can hold it's own just like the 865. This phone can be a potential game changer. All LG needs to do is stick with the plan on a consistent basis and they will be ok.
If camera is your main interest you go Google Pixel, higher end Samsung or the new One Plus 10. These 2 LG are solid however and should get Android 13 and no more.

I think another good comparison would be good is the moto one zoom vs LG v60 even though the moto one zoom came out in 2019 I still think it would be good for the camera comparison
LG; they have the hardware, are innovative, stylish and there pro-mode rocks , but there normal cam software processing oef oef pls teamup with google since they have a strong relation together! (V30 and V50 where some of the better real flagship pic and video, the other models fall too much short sadly, like V60 cam not so highend , but audio record best) plus point they drop very fast in price so as budget phones they rock hard.

I watched this on a big screen. Somehow the whole pixel binning stuff is really useless ._. And the 8MP wideangle with 1.12 microns from the velvet keeps up with the 13MP wideangle with 1.0 microns from the V60. Wait WAT?! though those phhones are racist for overblowing the vid xD Are the sacrafices in Audio and Battery department worth it? :D
For me the front facing camera looks better on the velvet but the mics are clearly better on the V60. Back camera is better on the V60 but the Velvet was not too far behind at all just a bit more saturated imo.
