  • This tune was used in 1968 by the B.B.C. as the title music for their second version of the Railway Children.
    This Phoneon Reed organ is vacuum-powered so is, strictly speaking, a roll-playing ‘American Organ’. It plays both 58 organ rolls and 65 note Player piano rolls but does not have the ability to play 61-note Phoneon rolls. It is unusual for such a small instrument in that there is a 16 foot stop on the top half of the keyboard and a 4 foot stop at the bass end.
