Probably joining the wire together would short circuit, better left unconnected, I bet that’s just a blank adapter, but good video, think it should be ok on a Euro 5
Understand you have removed yours. If I just disconnected the inlet pipe and leave it hanging would that have the same desired effect as removing, ie the purge valve would just suck fresh air each time it is activated? Doing my way when I have to return to the dealership for a service the scan would show no problem, regardless that you do not use the dealership (I'm not in that position yet).8 months on have you had any issues?
Mine is having engine light on. Got it checked at service centre. Code was indeed of evap system. I have joined the two wires. First day it was fine then second day got it refueled and shit started showing engine light
Unfortunate that 55 yrs. after the introduction of emission controls people are still deleting them instead of fixing the actual source of problem. One bike dirty does not effect much but one times 100,000 or 1,000,000 does. We all breath the same air.
Agreed but fixing the source of the problem in the RE is impossible…….the design of the system is at fault and it’s too easy for the cartridge to be contaminated by petrol from the fuel tank and actually cause more pollution
@@tommaguzzi1723I read somewhere that one Boeing 747 burns 6000-9000 litres of kerosene on take-off …..the “we all breathe the same air” philosophy would be better suited to air travel than to vapour from motorbike fuel tank breathers?
Mine has poor hot starting also , changed the relays and it’s better but still likes a bit of throttle to start when hot, may look at your solution 👍
another good video james

It needs a 4 ohm resistor in there
Volume,,, hard to hear you
is the overflow hose also the fuel tank breather ?

its the evolution buddy lol check some super bike purge valve & compare to this one hehehehe
Yes! I bet some are very sophisticated. This one certainly isn’t……😀
