It was so amazing to meet you! And you made my 9 year old's day by him getting to hear my business name on RUclips (mine too actually! Thank you!) My axolotls (same pattern) were one of my best sellers that day too! People love some axolotls!! I saw a girl that had purchased one of your snails. It was so stinkin cute!!! Hope to see you again next year in Crockett if we don't run into each other sooner :)
Hi Cassie! Just wanted to let you know that I watched this video yesterday and hearing about your bookstore experience inspired me to visit a local store to inquire about consignment. It went great and I'm setting up my spot today! I'm so excited!❤
I finally had my last market of the year, so I am now working on Christmas presents (scarves and face scrubbies) for some family members. Like you, I am looking forward to the lull to catch up on some things. I desperately need to get all my yarn organized again. Then I am anxious to spend some time crocheting some larger amigurumi. During market season, I spend most of my time prepping the smaller items because they sell so well. Another great video from you! Have a very Merry Christmas!
It's so funny that you think the cow looks like a hamster! That cracked me up! Ha ha ha!!! How cool is the consignment opportunity! Good for you! Can't wait to hear how that grows for you.
Yeah it's not just me either, everyone that picks it up when they visit my booth asks me if it's a hamster or guinea pig. 😂 Thanks so much for watching!
Cassie. Thank you so much. I am just getting started and my Instagram is empty. It’s my goal to get that up and going during this holiday break. What a blessing you are Cassie. Thanks so much. It was so great to meet you too! Mary L.
Watching you sew that cows head on made me realize that I really need a good tutorial on sewing with crochet. Is there a video or tutorial that you can recommend? My last amigurumi had a bit of a tilted head at the end.😂
Oh no 😂 I am not aware of any amigurumi sewing tutorials out there, but I definitely recommend using knitting needles or amigurumi sticks to hold the head in place, and then when you're sewing it to the body just make sure you're lining the stitches up so that the stitches you sew through are parallel with each other. This may mean you have to sew through one stitch more than once if there are more stitches on the last row of the body than there are on the last row of the head. I could definitely make a Short showing how I sew parts in the future!
i'm crocheting Winnie the dragon for my bff for christmas, i've already crocheted her a my melody plushie (it's keychain sized) and i'm planning to make an 'african flower granny square' tote bag for at least one of my other friends xD i also need to make my cousin not only a christmas gift but a birthday one too :3
What a sweet gift to send. The amigurumibsticks are very cute. Just FYI amigurumi sticks are just double pointed knitting needles with silicon beads on them. I don't say this to diminish the product in anyway. I think theyvare so cute and why not make them more fun instead of just a double pointed knitting needle that will fall out without the beads.
Hi, Cassie! I hope y’all had a terrific Thanksgiving/weekend! Thank you so very much for taking the time to share with us, once again. I really enjoy seeing how vastly different market experiences are for all of us! It’s just fascinating! On the same note, I hear some vendors recommending we create a “streamlined” (more niche) brand & narrow focus, but I feel like it’s just more fun and interesting to our customers when we offer a variety. For example, your set up not only looked gorgeous & stocked with high quality projects, but it looked so fun & inviting with the variety….idk…it must just truly be different for all of us & our various regions 🤪 lol. You’re doing such a marvelous job! That is all that matters 🧡 Stealing tho? Man. SO NOT COOL. It’s a problem for everyone, but it’s just so disappointing when it happens…a vendor friend of mine has actually started putting up a “nanny cam” & signs warning folks they’re being recorded (she has many thousands in inventory on display at once). It’s just too bad. 😕 Regardless! Congrats on the consignment deal and the success of your (also gorgeous) kits! I think that is SO BRILLIANT. I am so glad it was a successful market for you ☺️❣️I look forward to “seeing” you next time! Hugs from (SO COLD - 19 degrees atm) Ohio 🥶 xxx🧡
Hey Lisa! Yeah I can definitely see where those vendors are coming from about the more niche brand focus. I definitely had much less of a variety when I started and I've just noticed that people stay longer and are more likely to make a purchase when I have so much variety. The other thing to consider is just that I wouldn't have as much variety as I do if I wasn't making pattern review videos! They make my product assortment super diverse, and so I'm happy that it's not something that drives my customers away... in fact, it seems to keep them coming back, because they know I don't always have the same stuff! And yeah, I also saw someone else using their GoPro as a timelapse for the RUclips channel in their booth once, and I thought it was an interesting idea for anti-theft. However, I don't see the theft as a super pervasive problem so I don't think I'll be looking into anything like that in the future, especially since it's hard to track down the people who would be stealing if they weren't repeat thieves, you know? Thanks as always for watching
I think that bernat blanket color variant is only available at walmart, I haven't seen it anywhere else. It also feels like a thinner weight than most other bernat baby blanket colors. Which is not surprising for something they have at walmart, but I rather like the lighter weight one.
I like the amigurumi sticks but what i am curious about is why isn't here a flat side? so that you can put it through an arm and when your sure they are on the same height, you sew one side and then lay it on that so you can sew the other.
@@pieces_of_scrap I always wonder why these don't have a flat side like a yarn holder. so you can lay the work flat after you sewed on one side and the other is still attached so you can sew the other. Don't worry I am not expecting you to know but figured I could ask lol
The link for Clover cow doesn't work, it's actually the same link for the mushroom. Also searching the Instagram handle doesn't lead to the cow pattern either.
Sorry for the misunderstanding... I wasn't saying that 60% of $35 is $25. $25 is the price that I sell that product at while still making a profit on it. To keep a similar amount of profit on that item, I changed the price of the product to $35. Hope that helps!
I LOOOOVE Amigurumi sticks! they have improved my workflow so much!
They're so helpful!

Awww I'm so glad I made y'all's days 🩷🫶 it was so nice meeting you!!
I'm glad to hear your booth did well too!! 🩷
Wow, 40% is a big cut!
It's pretty typical for consignment 🤷♀️

I’m going to try those keychain chickens. Thanks for sharing!
Definitely do! They're perfect for market prep.

Hi from Australia
Thanks for watching!
Lovely video, lots of great patterns 😊. Fyi…the google spreadsheet link doesn’t work 😢
Sorry about that! It's fixed now!

It definitely feels softer! I haven't used it yet, but I'm super excited to make some brontos with it when I get a chance.
Im crocheting red blanket
Fun!

I'm not sure I quite understand, but these are my first set, so I don't think I know how they would normally work.
@@pieces_of_scrap I always wonder why these don't have a flat side like a yarn holder. so you can lay the work flat after you sewed on one side and the other is still attached so you can sew the other. Don't worry I am not expecting you to know but figured I could ask lol
How much are you selling the loveys for at the bookstore?
Do you have a link forcthe jellyfish? I cant find it on instagram.
It's a RUclips pattern by onecentcrochet! It's linked in the Pattern Masterlist in the description under the video.
@@pieces_of_scrap thanks!

I fixed it! Sorry about that!!
Can u share how u did that with the google form
All you need is a Google account and you can create a Google Form for free. Go to docs.google.com/forms and you can create it there!
Check your google docs link
Thank you! It's fixed now.
Hi, I love your work, its really cute!
… your math doesn‘t add up though, 60% of 35$ is 21$ ;)
Best wishes
