When talking about sheer technique and skill, Megadeth beats Metallica by a long shot on both the lead and rhythm. I can play most Metallica songs, but there’s only a select few riffs I can play decently with Megadeth. Even less solos.
They’re both great bands. It doesn’t matter who is more technical because they both are technical and not so technical from time to time.

@@uchihamadara7248 I'd argue from a purely crude skill, and riff complexity perspective, Mustaine is superior. His riffs are layered, more dynamic, and more adventurous than James. James is a fantastic guitarist, but Mustaine is so underappreciated. But again, this is all subjective.
