- I've been craving to do a public speedpaint for some time and what better way than to honor an animation that basically started my whole dream to do animation, 5 years before I'd ever find out what warrior cats and M.A.Ps were!

I didn't grow up with warriors, I had no idea about any of these characters, stories, musicals nor multi animator projects, but as a fledgeling on the internet I watched endless animated content on youtube and eventually stumbled upon the "I will be there" MAP ft silverstream and greystripe.
When @bakamiel 's part appeared and I saw that smile filled with so much love expressed in such a beautifully portrayed and lifelike way I was absolutely mindblown. I still have a crappy video recording of the animation saved in my inspo folder from 2015. I'ts crazy how I ended up coming back around to the community and I had such a fun time drawing this piece.
If this speedpaint does well and the art isn't stolen more often than my other works I might do more in the future, and I already have many ideas I wish to record!

This is my childhood, something i grew up with and played constantly. This part specifically is now eight years old. Seeing how these pieces of art have touched thousands worldwide is amazing, and watching your speedpaint brought back all those feelings.
You got into warriors differently than some and yet, most of the fandom can relate to having seen this and having nostalgia for this project. You did it such justice, I’m transported back to being twelve again ❤

The year: 2018. I have just opened RUclips and I have finished the second book of the prophecies begin. I see the MAP “I will be there”, Graystripe and Silverstream. I watch the whole thing, but I replay one part in particular. The animation of this part is uniquely amazing. I watch the expressions, the way that the animator drew silverstream’s smile. It replays in my head for years, and now I watch this video. Truly this part influenced so many like myself. Well done Bakamiel and Louixie!
No matter how well Greystripe and Millie are together, it wont ever be better than Greystripe and Silverstream.

@@klltx2001 It wasn’t just any fling! Silverstream x Graystripe was much, much more than that. They’re the first forbidden couple written in the series, a memorable kitty version of Romeo and Juliet, and most of all, the nostalgic memory of thousands of old warrior cat fans! The tragedy from that relationship was so much more impactful and memorable than Millie x Graystripe, healthy or not. Tell me, if Romeo and Juliet wasn’t a tragedy, and they both lived to be a happily married and healthy couple like Millie and Graystripe, would it have been so memorable? No! It wouldn’t have!
Millie may have been the cat truly suited for Graystripe, but Silverstream was his first love and mate. And no amount of love in Millistripe can ever change that.
Holy heck this brought back SO many memories! It's almost uncomfortable how nostalgia is 😭
This is so absolutely beautiful. I love everything about it, and this is exactly how I imagine SilverStream. It’s like looking the GrayStripe’s perspective of her beauty. No wonder he fell in love 💙

I’ve watched several warriors maps without knowing what they are, like “Everything Moves” and a whole bunch of others, and actually getting into warriors was like putting the puzzle pieces together as to what was happening on screen lol.
You’ve come so far from your first warriors animation I saw, and you blow me away with how much you improve every video. Have a good one!

OH MY! LOU THIS IS STUNNING! When i was younger i remeber crying st silverstreams death (to be honest i cried at all their deaths), this reminded me of that and this is so beautiful and touching!

I remember when this map came out! One of my all time favorites and I'm really happy you're making a tribute to it and bakamiel's beautiful artwork. I know your audience is a lot of younger/newer fans who probably wouldn't have been exposed unless they got lucky. It's the little things, but thank you.

It's amazing to find out that I Will Be There is what got one of my biggest inspirations into animating while it's also what introduced me to The Count of Monte Cristo, which is now one of my favorite musicals of all time

I dont think I ever saw warriors animations as a kid, just that I started watching a lot of them in 2019 and for over a year just longed to animate. It was seeing some of yours and others work in CSP that made me realise that there were more accessible animation software that I could learn in, and that it was ok to join the fandom at a later age.
man this was the MAP that dragged me into the animated warrior fandom!!! I watched it bazillion times and this is one of the best scenes in it! You nailed it so nicely it's looks awesome in your style! Amazing work!!

This looks incredible, you captured their emotions so well, especially Silverstream's! I really can feel her love towards Graystripe. And I must say that this speedpaint inspired me to get all my stuff and start drawing! ^___^
This map was the one who introduced me into Warriors and art/animation in general, it was 2014/15, i was like 9, now im 17, almost 18, this map means a lot to me. Your work is really amazing, i really like your shading and lighting

Reading your description really hit home for me. I too never really was interested in warrior cats, but was obsessed with artists and colleges and communities creating handmade stories and animations that theyd post on youtube, whether they were seeking popularity or not. I also actually found warrior cats through the same means, but the animation I saw was about Scourge as a kit.
I saw this when i first began reading the series, and this scene especially gave me goosebumps. While I initially didn't care for the video, I couldn't help but go back to that scene over and over again, and this ended up being one of my favorite multi animator projects.
Warriors inspired me to be an artist and a writer, and shockingly is a huge part of who I am now. I might not have ever been interested in creating paintings and writing stories had I not been inspired by the series. Thank you for making this and reminding me of that wonderful part of me. :)

The ‘I will be there’ map was the first encounter with warriors I ever had and lead to me reading the books which is one of my favourite series of books and the ONLY books I have read quickly and willingly because I loved them so much. This was also the first map I watched, the map means so much to me

Aw I love this!!! Silverstream had a really sad death, I wish she had been around in the series longer. She's one of my favorite characters besides Ivypool.

Yes. This is am amazing map. And it was the first map I had ever seen. I didn't even get what it was. Bit then I was recommended a few more maps. Then I was introduced to animation memes as well (First one I ever saw being chime by felichio (not sure if that is spelled right)). I was also lead to alot of the people I watch today, and those animations and people inspired in art and animation. I didn't even know about digital art before. So that map is nostalgic to me for some reason lol. It's an amazing map though.
