It’s really not. Once you understand how to use Shredders this becomes far and away the easiest fixed challenge, as there’s only 1 enemy to keep track of. From the Deep and Tremortusk Tussle especially are super dependent on good RNG to even finish it, let alone get a good time.
I have literally been trying to complete this challenge for hours. I’ve watched this video and several others more than once each and still have yet to be victorious. These arena challenges are impossible, especially on ultra hard. They aren’t even enjoyable, quite infuriating actually. I have never wanted to chuck my controller at the TV more.
I have tried this shit for 3 hours and can't finish it under 5mint, But you manage to do it under a minute. How long did you grind this boss? Activating Valor surge to avoid DMG from ADV mine is GENIUS! MAD Respect!
I honestly spent way too many hours practicing and attempting this trial to try and perfect this strategy. On very hard I used to struggle to get below 5 mins as well, but I found that utilizing the acid traps while the slitherfang is in the purgewater state deals a lot of damage. Also shooting the acid cannisters, and especially the glowblast cannister is a real game changer. I also spent many hours practicing with the shredder gauntlet, because it does take a while to get get used to using it. But the guideline I folowed for this trial is first 1. Use shredder gauntlet to knockdown, then expose the glowblast cannister. 2. Try to shoot any acid cannisters available, then shoot the glowblast cannister 3. Then keep using the shredder gauntlet as much as possible to completely fill up the damage counter so that the plasma explosion deals as much damage as possible 4. After the plasma explosion, explode the Slitherfang's purgewater sac, and then proceed to place acid traps 5. When the slitherfang is about to attack, activate valor surge, because as you pointed out it is really effective at avoiding the traps damaging yourself 6. Then continue using the shredder gauntlet untill the slitherfang is defeated. It definetly is easier said then done, it does take quite a lot of practice, but I honestly just want to help as many people as possible to improve on their times in the arena, so hopefully this was of some help.
hitting the snake after stun is insane or is this nerf on pc i can only attack 1 or 2 times(in slomo) then the snake will get up while you hit it 7X(with few bulk shot) and 1 miss
What an absolute joke of a difficulty… literally makes you hate this game… kudos and bravo to this man doing what he does in this video. But in terms of the difficulty and the decisions the devs took, they are absolutely horrible.
After 2 days of trying I finally did it, in like 4:22. I thought at one point it's almost impossible. Can't use the shredder like this guy, but it needs to be used. I watched the fight back and saw all the tricks I had to use. Knock him down with the bow special, hit an acid canister. Shred him, then freeze him using the valour. When he went down, I shot off the earthgrinders (serious damage). Use smoke bombs when you're in trouble. Don't give up!
Clearly what this the results of practice and retries..note the movement,weapon changes,weakness point attacked..all calculated..including the last 3 shredder moves aimed to stun it.,swiftly moves to where the head will fall and continues from there..
Don’t get deterred its very possible use the shredder gauntlet knock it down look for the weak spots hit it whilst it is corroding and keep ducking . It’s irritating at first
Did it on the first try on UH in like 4m, been farming apex slitherfang for a while, their attacks are pretty easy to dodge. Shredder is just a OP weapon once you know how to use it.
@@rorybell8834 it gives a sense of urgency like if you know there is nothing to lose you can try over and over without trying too hard but when you know you have limited attempts you are forced to try your hardest and improve much faster like after that I destroyed the rest of the arenas cause I knew I couldn't mess around anymore and therefore I became better at the game
Sooo someone did this in 4 second in ultra hard..just how?the top score from normal to very hard is held by same guy so im sure its legit..the ultra hard was the different one
@@elwingySooooo.... did you find one? I am all in for a fair game but playing on Ultra Hard is, well, hard enough, but the time limit is just almost impossible. I can defeat the machines, but to do it in the given time I`d have to practise so damn much... Some people have a life, or at least dont want to die 100s of times
how do they do some much damage with this weapon? in my game its like 20, 10 times less
