- Hello guys and gals, it's me Mutahar again! This time we take a look at what transpired a week ago when we had a discussion with one of RUclips's most beloved do-gooders Mamamax. This time we have some pretty sizeable updates regarding the case he botched and some good news that can arise out of it. Thanks for watching!

Precisely what I’ve been thinking, assuming that Max is being truthful in implying that Charlie is a predator (which I don’t think he is), isn’t it a little weird and gross that he’s apparently covering for him?

Oh he doesn't have anything against Charlie nor is he claiming to, he is very clearly stating he could cancel him by making up false accusations against him, and since he is the "pedo hunter" everyone would believe him.
Also, how many people have to come after Charlie and have it backfire before they learn?

It's completely understandable as mamamax was his friend at one point, he's angry probably out of sheer embarrassment from the whole thing. It sounds like he's been doing well though and at least he righted his wrongs, can't blame him as it's a sensitive topic
The "I could cancel you... and I choose not to" bit feels to me like it's less "I have blackmail on Charlie" and more "People would believe me at my word if I said you were a pedophile because I'm THE GUY who hunts pedophiles" which is incredibly disgusting. Literally threatening to fabricate evidence and try to ruin someone's reputation for not doing what he says... and then treats it like he's doing a favor.
I already have a sneaking suspicion that Max did that to Magnetar in an attempt to discredit and silence him when he brought his exes forward about him being manipulative and abusive

It's insanely ironic how Mamamax disregards the justice system when 'hunting criminals,' but he won't hesitate to use it to threaten his friends with legal actions.

@@zuglymonster as for evidence, Spencer is a friend of Max's sister, and is in charge of all the money and living with Max. Not just that, but she made a new channel around the time of that first video about Camden. How it's looking was this story was fabricated to get a friend of his clout.

It makes it seem as if he were more interested in reaching new audiences, rather than actually help. Besides, taking any and all criticism towards him as "siding with the bad guys", as well as isolating his audience, reads as cult leader behavior. He wants to be trusted without doubt, he wants the victims to only seek his help and to remain distrustful from law enforcement. Honestly concerning as fuck.
Not really surprised. I found mamamax's channel years back when he'd first started releasing his softcore revenge porn videos. I feel like a lot of people were watching the video for the message but as an outsider his videos really just felt like violent fantasies. I thought he was a creep and someone who got off on sensationalizing actual, tangible problems. Lo and behold.

The fact that he and his community had free access to a mega drive that was almost certainly removed for having child material on it is a MASSIVE red flag.

I just say red flag, because I'm three times removed from having actually seen the evidence, and even Muta was careful not to actually state for a fact that it was present on the drive. He just gave his evidence as to why he thinks it was there. I think the dude and anyone who had control of the drive should be investigated, but I can't confirm that they committed the crime, despite how solid the evidence Muta gave was.
The fact Muta promoted him for so long is also a red flag for Muta
$100 says it's a honeypot and the fbi is watching who downloads that stuff...it doesn't matter WHY it's on your computer never view that type of stuff for ANY reason even "to get screenshots to show law enforcement"

The sad thing is that if these allegations against Cade are true, then Max is his best friend at this point. He has effectively blown up any chance for people in law enforcement to use their usual tactics to put abusers away.

The allegations against Cade aren't true. Spencer really did run away to be in a relationship with him, but it's hard to call him a pedophile for that given that she was 16 and he was all of 18. The age of consent in Georgia 16 anway.

Pdf file allegations aside she might have been able to go for SA charges, but seriously, he's ruined all of that too. His one comment about "Muta has a lot of money so we're suing for a high amount" is something any judge will have a hard time looking past.

@@csokissuti7343 I missed that part. So at 16 Spencer actually was of age in his state but she lied and said she was of the age that would make her legal in every state. That Max and Spencer never mentioned that Cade himself was only 18 when this happened has to have been left out to make him look as bad as possible. I thought he was like 30 or something. An 18 year old being in a relationship with 16 year old (who he thinks is 18) is hardly worth Max trying to ruin this guy's life.
(Obviously that only refers to the Cade/Spencer relationship. I don't know what else he got up to and I don't really care enough to find out more on my own)
I still can't get over how Max will say we should believe these alleged victims on their word and lack of evidence but when women said they were victimized by HIM we're not to believe them because it's just their word and a lack of evidence.
With all that's come out... I'm starting to suspect there might be some truth to those claims against him

-Max and Spencer actively downplay her involvement with Camden's cult and the amount of power she had in the cult.
-Spencer had her own "pack" while in the cult.
-Spencer admitted to being a recruiter on her podcast.
-Spencer is the only one who seems to embellish her story to make it more appealing.
- The three mis- carriages in an impossible time frame.
-Comparing Camden's cult to Jonestown and WACO.
-Many people pointed to the L&O: SVU episode Charisma as an example of Spencer borrowing from the media to make her story more dramatic.

Nexpo recently went to Twitter and stated that he severed his ties with MamaMax. Honestly, I don't blame Nexpo, and he did what he had to do.
Yeah I was really glad to see that. I don't know mamamax, but I've been an avid follower of Nexpo for a long time. When I found out he was connected to this guy I was really alarmed bc it clashed with the vibe Nexpo puts out there and the view I had of him. He was already the lowest to begin with. He built his platform off of weaponizing victims to protect himself, instead of endorsing actual methods to efficiently deal with criminals.

I am absolutely floored that instead of asking victims to testify against the perpetrator of possible horrific crimes, he asks them to testify in a lawsuit because it could make them rich?? I was originally willing to believe his actions to be misguided, damaged by the expose culture on RUclips, and generally well-intentioned, just blinded by his own pride and self-righteousness, getting caught up in what he was standing up against was evil, so anyone who’s not with him is against him and anyone who dares question anything he does must be complicit. As well as a good dose of hypocrisy and just plain incompetence. However, it’s getting extremely hard to give him any benefit of the doubt now. I just hope this situation can finally stop being the circus he made it into and there can actually be some proper justice here.

So originally this thumbnail for his “RUclips, pick a side” campaign seemed to be him upset, it looked like he used a filter to make his face red and hair messy (you might find that in a few thumbnails people have used), but now it’s what you’re seeing now after he renamed the video.

One thing you touched on was the deal with law enforcement. Max always made it seem like the police were dragging their feet and not really being a help. It never dawned on me until now, that it was probably cause Max never bothered to present real, useable and concrete evidence.
Max and Spencer seem to exacerbate each other's toxic traits. This won't end well for either of them and I suspect one will betray the other at some point
I could really see this happening. Based on how Max just sits back and has Spencer lead the conversations, she will 100% be throwing him under the bus, to take the heat off herself.

OK so, if I recall correctly, Muta had mentioned that MamaMax and Spencer were in a relationship now, is this true or...? I ask because I remember MamaMax mentioning that Spencer was moving in with him and would be living there rent free until Spencer "got back on their own two feet again" in their first long live stream they did together. after hearing that, I got an eerie intuitive notion of gut warning that this whole ordeal was just bad news - that someone (MamaMax) could be getting taken advantage of for their platform, clout, access, etc. possibly for monetary gain being the end goal. idk... I've just thought maybe, as messed up as that is, it could be true. a lot of aspects about the "case", lack of evidence, obvious focus on money in these attempted lawsuit threats, the timing and ridiculousness/excuses here and there, yadda yadda. if not that, maybe money was just truly the end goal in all of this and they are committing a real slow motion sloppy robbery together that doesn't seem too likely to really happen with a decently intelligent person like Muta, lol... yikes 😣

The disturbing red flag in this whole situation is the hyper fixation on money of Max and his associates. One of the reasons they gave for not going after the dude was that he didn’t have assets. So they started going after big RUclips creators they saw as a payday more voraciously than their alleged predator because it’s not about victims it’s always been about money

I cut ties with a very close friend of mine almost a year ago due to toxicity in our friendship, and I'm still recovering from said-friendship to the point where I'm terrified to open up to any of my current friends over my experiences with them. The stab wound caused by someone you once trusted takes an astronomically long time to recover from, and in spite of all of this, I urge Muta to take care of himself above all else. It's difficult to heal from this type of betrayal.
The fact that the "survivors" were so quick to fall in line after this large sum and 'splitting it between them' makes me question everything. Even more so than before.
I can buy that genuine survivors of a crime would go along with something like this if, like anyone, they have financial woes that could be so easily solved*. Surviving something horrible does not make someone uncorruptible. Belief in the story presented should come from what is evidence supplied -- not whether someone seems like they are suffering virtuously enough.
* or believe this is their strongest chance of getting justice.

Max should serve as a warning against placing your faith in a vigilante. No matter their intentions, they're more likely to mess up a case than bring justice to a victim.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I'd heard about how Max was claiming that he himself was being investigated by the FBI, then I found out about the MEGA. To my knowledge, it's not confirmed that he actually is being investigated (he could have made that up like so many other things). But if there is an investigation it could be related to illegal content in the MEGA folder. It's just speculation right now but that would be really, *really* bad.

They'd come to your door and if they left a card they'd leave it there with some kind of note on who they want to contact them, not in your fence with no info where it could get blown away. @@AuntSteve Yeah, FBI typically notifies you through mail/phone if they even notify you at all, which is rare in and of itself. Usually they have to notify once criminal proceedings are underway if I'm not mistaken.
The realization someone you thought a close friend was just using you, and you meant nothing to them in the grand scheme of things is one of the most emotionally painful things to go through. It really does make you feel alone and isolated. Worse, it destroys your self-worth, the trust and social ease needed to build future friendships, or even relationships because you're always questioning intent/waiting for the shoe to drop. I've never heard of MamaMax before this controversy, but I've now started to watch his old videos. I genuinely don't know how people latched onto his stuff. He's taking people he's accused of awful things, mixing in outright fabrication and a made up narrative into the real-life acts that may or may not have happened, it's impossible to tell from his videos alone what was real and what was fake. He then acts out the part of some twisted anti-hero, as he joyfully enacts this violent power fantasy on someone he deems deserving of it. If you gave his content to a therapist, I think they'd all say that Max clearly fantasizes about enacting violence, and takes joy in watching people suffer. But he justifies it by limiting his targets to "deserving" victims, people who have gone after minors. But so much of the videos are dedicated to his own ego, and it's impossible to really tell what is truth and what is fiction.
You can't lie about what these people have done to make them seem worse then what they are. Even if you think they deserve to be lied about. It's wrong. It's evil. The idea that some guy has been running this crazy, psychopathic power fantasy and his shield for why he gets to do it is "save the children" is just so wild to me.

Notice how in nearly every video he speaks directly to victims of CSA, in almost every video he proclaims about how he will protect them, how they can share their stories with him, he abused these people's trust who been hurt to earn their trust easily.
I can tell you exactly who latched on, young children who were taken advantage of and seeing someone who take these ppl down made them feel strong. Most of the comments were children saying thank you. He took advantage of those children for veiws and money

Then, he will break that promise once they give him that evidence. He gets so much joy out of deceiving these people, and makes a point to insult them and talk about how amazing he is at this stuff.
It's psychopath behavior. It's almost something like a real-life Dexter: Where he wants to get away with this behavior so he only goes after the people he could reasonably get away with doing it to, without being called out.

I'm a survivor of SA. If someone had took an interest in me & my situation at the time, my life would be COMPLETELY different today. I'll not go into it but it changed the course of my life & opportunities I had. Now every day is a struggle to get through yrs later. It's impossible to explain to someone who hasn't experienced this themselves. No one believed me much less took up the cause for me. To see someone just CARE that this is going on is a positive emotion I can't properly convey. Like joy or exhilaration. That's the only way I can describe it. Maybe I'm just too gullible due to my situation. Who knows? I know this will sound super lame but....He became a hero to me. I didn't want to believe at 1st that he was a fraud. You cannot imagine how let down & hurt I am. Please don't fault people for believing in him & digging his content. I know they are people like me & we have been let down enough. Hopefully this helps you or anyone else understand. I'm terrible at trying to explain things so I hope I am making sense ❤

Thank you for emphasizing the problem that this sort of "vigilantism" causes when trying to get actual legal justice for the victims. My sister is a prosecutor and has talked about how mishandled evidence can derail a case, and from what I've seen so far, he's likely doing more harm than good. Him threatening to cancel another creator like that, even in jest, only serves to further undermine his credibility.

One of my favorite excerpts of all time comes from the book The Franklin Cover-Up by John W. DeCamp (a book dealing CSA abuse victims) and deals with this very topic.
"What you have to understand, John, is that sometimes there are forces and events too big, too powerful, with so much at stake for other people or institutions, that you cannot do anything about them, no matter how evil or wrong they are and no matter how dedicated or sincere you are or how much evidence you have. That is simply one of the hard facts of life you have to face. You have done your part. You have tried to expose evil and wrong doing. _It has hurt you terribly_ . But it has not killed you up to this point. I am telling you, get out of this before it does. Sometimes things are just too big for us to deal with, and we have to step aside and let history take its course. For you, John, it's one of those times."
(Bill then elaborates on this point later in this excerpt of the introduction)

That is why they hide in the deepest, darkest corners of the internet. But the truth will always bring them to light. If you are doing duty and continue to support people genuinely trying to stop these kinds of crimes by bringing awareness, then you have done more than your part in helping fight this fight.
Despite the bleakness of this excerpt, I always find myself going back to it. I honestly find it encouraging, especially when we are surrounded by so much evil in today's world and feel so powerless.
Take a week's vacation somewhere and just relax, Muta, you look like you need it. I'm sorry this happened, losing a friend is never easy especially when it's this messy.
I know that feeling where a friend turns out to have been not a friend at all. It's one of the most hurtful things because not only do you lose the friend, you lose the entire history, all the good memories are now under shade of deep doubt and betrayal. You lose trust in other people AND in yourseslf. It sucks.

This whole situation is so frustrating. I used to really admire max when i was around 16 since, as a csa survivor who wasnt able to get justice, his whole "seek vengeance! Protect the kids!" Thing was really cathartic to me. Looking back on it now as an adult, though, its so frustrating to see how badly he mishandled cases. Id like to believe he had good intentions, but the fact he's so quick to take criticism against him to court but refuses to seek out law enforcement for actual, serious cases is so disheartening. Imo, using a topic as serious as this for clout is literally disgusting.

The reason the cops have a bad record at resolving sex crimes is because of evidence way more so then any sort of incompetence or ambivalence of law enforcement. Many times victims will not follow up when more info is requested, or they refuse to go to court to testify (it is traumatic after all) and sometimes people file reports without naming the person (to protect family and friends)
Unfortunately as well, sometimes they are incompetent as it pertains to properly handling or opening investigations. The Ian Watkins case became as drawn out as it was explicitly because of a refusal to investigate after multiple testimonies by law enforcement.

i do think it used to be one of the biggest road blocks to getting justice but, while it still obviously happens (and way too often), things have and are continuing to improve. unfortunately i’ve been a reporting victim of a sex crime and unfortunately more than once, and i also volunteered at my local dvsas (domestic violence and sexual assault services) for awhile as a victims advocate. not an expert but i have seen how things go down a bit more than most people. or most “civilians”, i guess. of course i have encountered plenty of cops that didn’t give a shit but for the most part, they truly do want to help. and they’re nearly as frustrated as the victims are with roadblocks. it’s no law and order svu in the real world but most of them really do care.
and i say this as someone with little if any love for our justice system, including our policing system.
also i really hope if there are victims in this…werewolf vampire sex cult thing (?) they get in contact with a victims advocate. they not only help a lot with the mental/emotional side of things, but if you want to press charges, they know what to do and will be right be your side the entire way. max royally fucked this up and if he promised justice to these girls while having no training or even basic level understanding of how to work towards that, or worse just took their trauma to make a buck off it, he…well youtube won’t let me say what i think of that. i don’t _think_ he fucked this case up beyond saving, as a guess/hope, but at this point max just needs to stfu and let the grown ups take it from here.

I never watched Mamamax but I thought he was credible as Muta and Cofeezilla trusted him. This just makes me realise do not trust anyone transitively. I still trust Muta as the dude was very open in everything he did and said. Mamamax seems to be growing more insane by the minute.
Honestly I did the same; I thought if Muta, Nexpo, and the like were in his side he can’t be all bad. But it looks like he had them all fooled. That’s less on them than on Max’s ability to deceive, which some people are sadly good at.
