Disclosure: I haven't reviewed the Quest 2, yet. Here are my thoughts;
The Bad
-Average PCVR headset
-Data rate capped at 2.5Gbps (burry/compressed image sometimes)

On some servers you can load troops of multiple types and vehicles in helicopter, with vehicles you usually gotta sling load them, but troops just hop in the helo. You can even build sam sites with helos but that takes multiple crates, which are sling loaded, and you can only carry 1, meaning you gotta make multiple trips. Any helo can take troops/vehicles/etc, even Apaches, it doesn't have to be a cargo helo.
Once me and some other helos sling loaded a whole Abrams, which took 3 crates, and brought it to an enemy airbase. Then we took control of it with the Combined Arms module and went on a spree, killing the whole base.
To get to the menu for loading troops and that, you gotta press the comms key, the one where you would bring up the menu to rearm, and then look for CTLD, it might be under something like "Other" or Misc" Then pick out of the options that come up, such as load troops, then pick your type, the standard one gives you a bit of everything. To unload them you have to go back to the CTLD menu, and then either manage troops/cargo, or unload troops, I don't remember, haven't used it in a while. You can bring a vehicle AND troops too, if you can lift it, I've seen guys bring a load of troops armed with stingers, a mortar, and then an ammo truck to rearm the stingers, you can really set up a base with it. If you unload troops or vehicles near and objective, they will automatically go to it. If the server is really lagging though, they may move wicked slow, the speed of the troops depends on how well the server is running. Anyone who's seen GR's DDay videos know what I'm talking about. Beware of the mortar troops, while very useful, they sometimes don't work, they may have fixed that since I last used them though.
Also, watch out for enemy APCs armed with TOWs, the ai are SNIPERS with them, and can easily kill helos with them, even MBTs will fire the main gun at helos.
You can usually tell the difference between ai and player helos by how they fly, if the helo if flying straight and smooth, it's a player, but if it's bobing up and down and frequently stopping, it's an ai. The ai likes to have the helo EXACTLY at a specific height above the ground, and will jump up and down to achieve it, you can see the Mi-8 sort of do it at 5:20 through 5:27, though thats partly do to fire. If you put a helo down in the mission editor and tell it to fly to a waypoint, you'll see what I mean.
The blade coming off the heuy is called mast bumping, where parts of the blade hit the "mast" there connected to and break it, I think this mainly happens when the blade has -g, so like when your almost upside down and possibly by moving the cyclic to far and fast at the some time, correct me if I'm wrong; GR did a detailed video on it - ruclips.net/video/2fqhmNHwYLQ/видео.html Mast bumping only occurs on the rotor head design the heuy uses, which I think is a semi rigid rotor head. Since I don't think any other helo in DCS has this rotor head, none of the others would experience mast bumping.
If your looking for a helo to do crazy aerobatics, I suggest using the Gazelle, specially the L model, it can't carry as much weapons, but it's way more maneuverable than the heuy, and you cant mast bump. Though you can carry the Giat machine gun, which is a 20mm, which can take many types of ammo, and has an immense fire rate, the 240 rounds go by quick. THe gazelle is more suited for what your trying to do, while the heuy in my opinion is better off slinging miniguns and rockets while breaking away a little ways before getting to the target and keep hitting them like that.
You can use trial aircraft on some servers too, theres a symbol on the left of the server browser that will tell you if the server accepts trial aircraft in it, I think its gold, but I'm not sure, hover your mouse over the symbols until it tells you what they mean. My favorite server for trying out trial aircraft is the 4YA Caucasus server.
Most ground targets in DCS have a basic health bar system, meaning weapons will either damage them or not, there is no sometimes, the HE rockets will damage BMPs, but it may take a few more than when using HEAT.
When loading troops and rescuing pilots, you won't see them in the helo as those systems are player made scripts, and therefore can't interact with the heuy model.
I noticed you didn't change your username too, to change it, go to DCS main menu, logbook, then theres a box in the middle of screen that says profile, with some text that should say something like player, change that to whatever you like.

do you have your throttle and collective seprate? possibly lowering your collective will prevent the rotor ripping off?
Rctrl+enter will get the red box off your screen, its more for m+k players.
turn off civilian traffic in the settings its a massive resource hog.

I'm running dcs on 32gb ram 4600g processor and 1650 super pre built. Cost about 700 last year. Just don't want you to miss out thinking you need a 2 grand setup.

i played dcs on a 360 controller a 1070 16gb of memory and a 3770k for years lol. I even flew helos with the controller and mouse lots do

I think its the bare minimum, with KB&M being nearly unusable.
You, yes you, you need play arma 3 nice plays in war thunder and nice control in dcs
I dont think any helicopter will suit your WT playstyle but the low altitude zoom and boom I think suits the Hind really well with its fixed cannon, armoured front, high engines and heavy rocket loads.
Also, I dont think HEAT rockets are very good at taking out soft targets in DCS for w/e reason, I tend to lean towards Russian FRAG rockets, which I dont think you have as an option for the Huey.
How do you see anything in Quest 2 ? :D i bought it to play WT and i see just pixelated mess even on highest settings
Quest 2 has huge issues with PCVR. Don't yse air link, and use a good usb-c cable.
A full on tilt just stalls out the engine? Dang sucks to be on the receiving end of that when you have to roll hard on evading something.

DCS is king, War Thunder's flight model can't even compare.
Dude, fly french tiger. Having a blast. 0 death games with 4-5 killed tanks and captured points. Really want to open my channel soon. I think its the best heli in game right now. Super agile.
if I am not mistaken what you are experiencing with your huey rotor is called mast bumping.

my biggest problem with helicopter flight sims is theres no door gunners... warthunder especially considering naval have ai you can control, door gunners would be so fun
You can play multicrew with your friends in every seat on DCS, co-pilot and both gunners can be controlled by players.
