livestreaming - no, not my cup of tea. Apache - also not I'm afraid. I generally like flying stuff that I want to commit to learning fully and the Apache just doesn't interest me enough. I'm looking forward to the Bo-105 though!
As an avid VR user I do admit its a struggle. I've always had bleeding edge equipment (currently 3090, waiting for 4090 w/G2) and the vr struggle is real. In 2D, I can crank all the DCS settings at 4k and the sim looks incredible. In VR, so many details are lost and it just doesn't look the same, but once you've flown in VR, the added realism and depth perception is almost impossible to ignore. Once you go VR its really hard to go back IMO. Personally, I prefer VR with graphics that look 4 years old than current graphics in 2D, but I can't honestly say that I don't drool when I watch replays in 2D with the graphics cranked. Dreaming of the setup that will allow both sometime in the near future lets hope.
Unbelievable handling! Can I ask You, if possible, to make a little video showing Your WMR, SteamVR and DCS settings? I struggle to have decent frametime and fps and my rig is powerful, 5600X OC, 64Gb of ram and a 3090.Also You talk about a 90 mm extension, but to me Your seems a bit shorter, wich one You bought? Thx!
I have an extended microsoft sidewinder FFB2. It's nice because if you unplug the power cord it moves completely freely which is great for helis. The only problems with it are the lack of buttons and a slightly annoying mechanical deadzone at center stick.
Damn, here i am with about 300hrs in fixed wing now 20 into helis thinking helis are damn hard, this guy could walk his dog with a heli... seems like i need to practice a whole lot, and need to start working on that fly-sim-chair i've been thinking of making.
Finally, an excellent vid and correct in all you say.. I agree completely. I have the G2 and only fly VR in Helo's. Much better control, visually better also than in jets. Huey is awesome!!
I use the same stick and extension (also rudders and vr headset) as you and fully agree that the extension is great. Use them for the Hornet and it is great. Just bought the Apache and want to learn choppers. Im nowhere near your skillset. Any tips on learning to fly the chopper?
Awesome video! Loved the US Coast Guard livery since I am a USCG Veteran! So great pick for the beginning! I have a G2 as well but wanted to know what software your using to record it in 2D? I haven’t seen anything that allows that so would be very helpful. Thank you and keep up the awesome work!
Thanks! There's no extra software involved. Just save your VR flight track as normal after you finish a flight, then switch to your 2D DCS application without using VR and replay the flight like any other flight. And just choose whatever angle you want in 2D or use track IR to pan around the cockpit during the track replay :)
That is some sweet, sweet flying, my man! I've got a 200mm extension, but fly in 2D, and I'm in awe at your skills... I can't get anywhere near that level of control/precision! What sort of performance are you getting on the G2 with your computer? I've been wanting to get into VR but have been discouraged by the insane shortages/prices combined with the countless accounts of terrible performance.
Hi Riman. Consider the Virpil WarBRD stick base. it fits with the Warthog sticks but doesn't have any 'stiction' so you get much finer control. I swapped my warthog stick base for the Virpil and am not going back :)
can I ask you something ? I am totally new in DCS because the AH-64D I controll my collective with a joystick. ( I saw you had a thrust handle ). if I try to descent my helicopter it just falls out of the air onto the ground. Do you have some tips ?
I would recommend that you watch your rate descent and adjust your power from there. Avoid descending anymore that 300’ per minute and practice! Eventually you will figure out when to enter the descent to land at a particular point. But, practice descending at 300’ per minute first, then worry about the landing point.
Hello @Command T. Excellent video! Thank you very much. Would you help me? I have a problem. I bought the Thrustmaster TPR pedals last week and I just can't configure the Huey with it, the helicopter keeps spinning when I step on the rudder. Do you have a video showing the setup you use? Thank you very much.
@@CommandT Thanks for listening. I managed to solve it here, you have to change the configuration in the general controls of the HUEY and set it to Default, and not use a controller with a spring system. It is perfect. TPR is fantastic! Thank you my friend.
Ah thought as much with the extention, unfortunately both are not on cards right now. Wanna see how I go with those examples you flew tho. Not sure what those turns are called either but they are a lot of fun! Totally agree the Huey is still the best chopper experience in DCS. Also never knew you could convert vr to 2d interesting. I'v always wondered if got vr would you have trade in making vids
Hey @CommandT, do you mind explaining how you record your VR and then collapse it back down to 2D? I'm looking to record some of my flights and share them, and I'm running VR as well. Love the precision. Thanks.
Just save the replay track, and open it again in your 2D version of DCS and watch the replay track like normal. I didn’t use the original head movements as it would look too jittery so just recorded it by looking around in trackIR whilst the replay was playing
It’s a mod, I think it’s the civilian navy assets pack. If you search for it you’ll find it on the ED forums somewhere. The island can be placed just the same way as a ship
I believe the maneuver is still called a hammerhead (stall turn) I fly always in VR, A2A I find more intuitive but tbh haven't flown enough with the TrackIR to get used to it in A2A. The only issues I have with VR is: - ground targets (level of detail),have a keybind to VR zoom helps for VID, - typing in chat, (discord and SRS helps); and - using the mouse but this load can be reduced with Voice commands. My VR headset/GPU is a Pimax 8k-Plus and a Radeon 6800XT - ( I ran the 2080Super for a long time as couldn't get a new gen GPU) The problem is ED has got to refresh their 3d engine - I get as good or better average FPS in MS2020 in VR than DCS.
Yes, definitely - we need multi-threading to take advantage of VR and ED need to rework the ground textures and detail to work and look better in VR. It's a matter of time. It's definitely the future but for now I still like my 2D screen!
@@therocinante3443 very interesting idea.... I will have to try that - problem thou is ALL my HOTAS buttons are currently bound but I should be able to free one or two up... even with the additional control panel I made, (32 digital and 6 analog inputs) for VR I still use the mouse. So your idea should help! Thanks
When you think about it like this it'll make sense; With the helicopter, you're actively controlling 4 dimensions of motion: 1. Yolk - Pitch and Roll 2. FootPedals - Yaw / Rotation 3. Collective - Power. Now if you're using a keyboard like me, that's already all of your fingers, but now you have to worry about the: 4. MOUSE movement as well for perception and vision; This is where the VR really shines because it takes the need for management of one dimension of control away from your hands and gives it to your eyes which aren't actively controlling anything - for any game with realistic helicopters, you'd likely need VR.
Please help. You spoke of increasing the joystick length by 90mm. Clearly that's works exceptionally well. Can't one not achieve the same results by changing the DCS x and y axys and tune, and achieve the same results? I have a MS FF joystick and am keen to lengthen it by your suggested 90mm but as mentioned above can't that be done in the DCS tuning. Thank your for a great site. Peter
I’m a bit confused how you can achieve the same results by playing with the X and Y axis in DCS. You can’t replace a big lever arm by changing axis settings in your sim.
@@CommandT. Thank you for your reply. Perhaps I said it incorrectly. One can adjust the x and y axis to give move movement on the stick with less "input" to the helicopter. But by increasing the length of the joystick [as you have done], you can achieve a better result than just adjusting the axis...... Am I correct in that assumption? I do not want to lengthen the joystick shaft for any other reason, except to make flying more precise which you clearly have achieved.lengthening I really do appreciate you helping me. Kindest regards, Peter [South Africa] Sorry not sure why the text went red
@@peterweir3861 What you are asking about, is to adjust a X and Y output values. TL;DR: To make a grude analogy, think about limiting your car wheel turning only 180 degrees, so +/- 90. When you are driving normally on the roads, you are fine as turns are not so tight and you anyways do very small +/- 10 degree wheel rotations. But when you try to park your car, or you try to turn around on the road without reversing, you can't as you have no means to perform 2.5x wheel rotation capability, so your turning radius will be 3-4x of the possible you could without limiter. ---------------------------------------------- Firstly think about your joystick as 0-100% in both X and Y axis, where 50% is naturally the center. In X axis the 0% is full left and 100% is full right. In Y axis 0% is full aft, 100% full forward. No matter of your joystick length, that is full maximum input you can make to the computer. Now let's think that your joystick has a 30 degree deflection angle, so example X axis is +/- 15 degree, in total 30 degrees. That means your joystick gives 0% X axis at 15 degree to the left. And so on 7.5 degree to left would be 25% input. Now think about your joystick length, from the gimbal (zero, as it is the rotational point) to the trigger where you hold the index finger. Let's say it is 20 cm. When you rotate the joystick from left to right, you have 30 degree in total movement, 0-100% total input, but your index finger (trigger) will move let's say 8 cm in total. That means you have 4 cm movement to left and right from the center. That is your physical hand coordination requirement. If you have a mean to extend your joystick length from that 20 cm to something else, you will increase that physical movement range of your trigger. So if you extend your grip by 20 cm, as you go from 20 cm from gimbal to trigger, to 40 cm from gimbal to trigger, you have now 16 cm in total of physical hand coordination capability. You still have same 30 degree total angle, same 0-100% input, but to reach those maximums you need to move hand 2x more laterally. So now with extended joystick you have 100% input, but 2x more precision for your hand to make those small corrections. If you do not extend your joystick, but you will instead adjust the X and Y output values in each axis, what will happen is that you are cutting your output of your input by same amount. So if you set the resolution to 50%, you have on range scale available for you between 25-75%. You still move your joystick same full 30 degree total deflection, and you still have same 8 cm physical movement, but your input is only read as 50% of total output. It means, even if you tilt your joystick fully to right, then in the game virtual cockpit your virtual cyclic is never moving to right further than 50% of the range, so 75% position. So it is like "virtual extending joystick". That is OK if you fly in normal conditions, because normally your cyclic does not move much from the center to extreme physical ranges, but once you need that helicopter full authority for controls, you can't give it as you have cut off that by 50%. So example, you need to land in a side wind with heavier load and at higher altitude on something, and you would need to correct by giving full right cyclic, you are only capable input 75% position but not further, so it is not enough and you can't control what you are flying and likely crash.
Don't knock yourself- as far as a Huey pilot, I've seen worse. Just stick with it and you will get better. It takes practice. One thing that might help you improve your flying skills is ditching that Reverb and Warthog stick. Maybe consider the HTC Vive Pro 2. Like I said, stick with it- it gets easier. You should do another video after you've honed your skills a bit- you could reintroduce this video as kind of a "before and after" thing. Who knows, I might stumble across that one and watch it as well. Cheers!
To fly helis you absolutely must have pedals. You can get away without pedals for fixed wing, but defo not helis I think! Regarding extension - yeah you can fly helis without it but degree of accuracy and control is reduced to a certain degree.
@@CommandT so even if I have the Yaw axis on my flight* stick, its absolutely not worth buying a heli module? I can probably get away really well with the lack of a stick extension, but I guess I wont be able to pick up the hind if i dont get pedals
I was wondering if you've tried the free Black Hawk helicopter yet? I downloaded it but haven't tried it yet, but they say it's a lot more stable than the Huey. I'm new to Helos and got the Apache for my first paid module. I was wondering, since I can't afford to get several sticks and mount am extension one one just for Helos and a regular stick for my jets if it works by adjusting the curves in Axis controls? I find the Apache to be really twitchy and I dialed up the curve to try and tame it, but I'm so bad, not sure I am doing something wrong, Lol!
Haven't tried the black hawk mod as I don't like aircraft mods really for lack of detail and features. We all use curves regardless. Even with an extension you still need curves. I mean you can still have fun without an extension of course but to have more precise control there is simply no way round it :(
@@CommandT I hear you about mod quality. I'm in the same boat. I did download the Blackhawk based on the rave reviews around the internet. I have to say, it is on par with official modules. And it lets you do one thing not offered anywhere else in DCS - AAR. Which is a good challenge and really fun. I think it would definitely be worth at least a download and take it for a quick spin.
See my post about pedals (you dont need them, just a fine axis for rudders somewhere - I use the L/H engine throttle for pedals on a thrstmaster warthog). Huey vs Apache. I would recommend the Huey first. Yes, the Apache is sexy, but the module is new and somewhat a work in progress; it will take a few years before it's done, just like the F-18. The Apache is not "fun" to fly. It's a fly by wire death machine with little "feel". Sorta like an F-18; the flying is done to bring the platform to the target, the real work is managing the weapons and targeting systems. I anticipate I will spend more time in the gunner's seat working the systems. There are no campaigns for it yet. The Huey is a basic fly by the seat of the pants helo, and it is fun to fly (but slooooooow). Once you get a handle on it, you can make it sit and talk. There are many campaigns for it, some very good, even a Vietnam-like one on the Mariana map. I enjoy my Huey, it's a great helo. I mean, how can you not own a Huey if you'rte going to fly helos?
@@PappyGunn I got the Apache and I still haven't managed to fly it very well, so the perspective you have is from the experience you have, I have a lot more getting experience to go. I have the Blackhawk but haven't flown it, but I will soon. I will pop some champaign when I can do a complete mission of flying, navigating and coming back to base and landing successfully, lol!

Also. I noticed you have the thurstmaster joystick. One this that improved my flying was switching from the warthog stick to the winwing base. However It only improved my formation and air to air tanking skill. Also made holding 3GS in my tac turns easier.
@@CommandTThere is less resistance for minor movements. But more resistance the further you move the stick. So there is more.... but there is also less. Not a good stick for helicopters tho. Maybe with an extension it would be. "more leverage = less resistance"
"THIS will TRANSFORM your DCS Helicopter Flying Precision" Where "this" actually means have enough money to buy a beefy pc, buy a VR headset and buy a Joystick that enables extensions to be mounted on and rudder pedals.

If you’re not a real helicopter pilot and you can fly this precise in the game, the game isn’t a sim. In real life it’s hard to master these techniques. DCS probably has alot of hidden assists on.
I made the mistake of getting an Oculus .. won't do that again.. I'm a real world helicopter pilot and I can't stand flying helicopters in DCS. They feel way too wobbly and unrealistic to my liking. livestreaming - no, not my cup of tea. Apache - also not I'm afraid. I generally like flying stuff that I want to commit to learning fully and the Apache just doesn't interest me enough. I'm looking forward to the Bo-105 though!
Wow. Freaking incredible flying.
Thank you Paristo/Command T for your reply regarding my message below.
Kindest regards, Peter Weir
The maneuver is a "Rotor Turn". Climb at speed until out of energy and let the rotor unload.
You got me with the A-team intro haha. Sweet vid!
Thanks! 😃
Thx!
Your videos are always so beautiful. Wonder how it would look in VR :) as graphics are always a bit down in VR but immersion is so much better...
Yeah exactly. That’s why I don’t use VR atm.
anyone know where abouts that first shot is located i wanna give it a go landing there
"Return To Target"
Well Done, I am trying to figure out how I wasn't to immerse myself in DCS and Love Flying VR
Solid video. Makes me hope we can get a UH-1N or Y someday.
Thanks. Check out my latest video for even better controls set up 🙂
I have an extended microsoft sidewinder FFB2. It's nice because if you unplug the power cord it moves completely freely which is great for helis. The only problems with it are the lack of buttons and a slightly annoying mechanical deadzone at center stick.
Yeah unfortunately it's hard to have a stick that can do both helis and fixed wing without compromise :(
@Command T - Yo, nice direct-to-pad...doesn't look like that structure is strong enough to hold that Phat Bird...Cheers ~ Juice
I agree I fly everything in VR but choppers are the best immersion,
that intro was amazing!!!
Ha! Thanks! :)
Congratulations . a lot of ability
What's your curves and dead zone on your warhog stick.
Damn, that first landing was beautiful to behold!
Thanks! 😇
VR is a must.
Damn, here i am with about 300hrs in fixed wing now 20 into helis thinking helis are damn hard, this guy could walk his dog with a heli... seems like i need to practice a whole lot, and need to start working on that fly-sim-chair i've been thinking of making.
That
Maneuver you did is called a return to target
Finally, an excellent vid and correct in all you say.. I agree completely. I have the G2 and only fly VR in Helo's. Much better control, visually better also than in jets. Huey is awesome!!
Yep! Thanks!
@@CommandT Thanks for your reply! Funny I never even considered doing that 😂 Anyway thanks again I appreciate it!
I'd love to give this game a try just to try the Huey.
bro i got a keyboard and a potato with wires comming out of it running dcs help plz
I think it’s a return to target style turn
Hey - can you explain how you record your G2 Footage in that great quality?
How are you able to record vr footage without it being that tall and think block
Bro is just casually inspecting a helicopter while flying a helicopter.
Great video. You say you fly this in VR and recorded in 2D how? Mission replay?
Great flying. I love flying helis with VR :) What map is this? I'm always looking for new places to fly. Thanks.
Marianas islands and Syria map :)
@@staubsauger2305 thanks, but I already have the vkb gunfighter III base 🙂
That turn you performed is called a return to target.
Hahaha, nice :)
can I ask you something ? I am totally new in DCS because the AH-64D I controll my collective with a joystick. ( I saw you had a thrust handle ). if I try to descent my helicopter it just falls out of the air onto the ground. Do you have some tips ?
I would recommend that you watch your rate descent and adjust your power from there. Avoid descending anymore that 300’ per minute and practice! Eventually you will figure out when to enter the descent to land at a particular point. But, practice descending at 300’ per minute first, then worry about the landing point.
What Syria expansion map is this, and what USCG livery is this? Good stuff. Thanks.
Torque turn or pedal turn?
It’s a good joke , I laughed a lot when you said “I’m not a good helicopter pilot” Are you for real?? You are awesome at it
You can get a much better sense of depth perception sans VR by making the FOV more realistic, 55 degrees is a pretty good starting point.
Hi, hmmm. Strange problem. Do the rudders function normally when flying aircraft? Have you done the calibration?
@@CommandT Thanks for listening. I managed to solve it here, you have to change the configuration in the general controls of the HUEY and set it to Default, and not use a controller with a spring system. It is perfect. TPR is fantastic! Thank you my friend.
0:38 aweee 💕 👬, thats a cute safety feature
Ah thought as much with the extention, unfortunately both are not on cards right now. Wanna see how I go with those examples you flew tho. Not sure what those turns are called either but they are a lot of fun! Totally agree the Huey is still the best chopper experience in DCS. Also never knew you could convert vr to 2d interesting. I'v always wondered if got vr would you have trade in making vids
the turns are often referred to as an Ag turn, or sometimes hammerhead turn.
not sure what the military community would call it but in the helo crop dusting world we just call it an ag turn.
@@CommandT Ah gotcha. Thanks. I was trying to avoid using replays as they always play out very differently in my experience.
Can't you achieve the same level or similar of accuracy with adjusted curves? Just wondering, thanks for sharing!
no! in heli flying there is no "center" in your stick therefore curves not good. Need to be linear
4:12 ish, looked like a hammerhead
What map is it with the little house at the beginning?
It’s a mod, I think it’s the civilian navy assets pack. If you search for it you’ll find it on the ED forums somewhere.
The island can be placed just the same way as a ship
where is that location at the start? So sick!
It's just one of the Marianas Islands, but the rocky outpost is part of a Ships Mod by Eight Ball.
I believe the maneuver is still called a hammerhead (stall turn)
I fly always in VR, A2A I find more intuitive but tbh haven't flown enough with the TrackIR to get used to it in A2A.
The only issues I have with VR is:
- ground targets (level of detail),have a keybind to VR zoom helps for VID,
- typing in chat, (discord and SRS helps); and
- using the mouse but this load can be reduced with Voice commands.
My VR headset/GPU is a Pimax 8k-Plus and a Radeon 6800XT - ( I ran the 2080Super for a long time as couldn't get a new gen GPU)
The problem is ED has got to refresh their 3d engine - I get as good or better average FPS in MS2020 in VR than DCS.
Yes, definitely - we need multi-threading to take advantage of VR and ED need to rework the ground textures and detail to work and look better in VR. It's a matter of time. It's definitely the future but for now I still like my 2D screen!
Hey just a little thing, you can set all your mouse buttons to the hotas and use your sight as the pointer. In control settings, it's in "UI Layer."
That way you can click everything in your cockpit without taking your hands off your hotas.
Thanks
Where will this scene be at the beginning of this video??
It's a mod- it's an island you can place anywhere. I forget who makes the mod though!
God I need to watch A-team once again don’t I 😅
Yep, it's too good!
When you think about it like this it'll make sense;
With the helicopter, you're actively controlling 4 dimensions of motion:
1. Yolk - Pitch and Roll
2. FootPedals - Yaw / Rotation
3. Collective - Power.
Now if you're using a keyboard like me, that's already all of your fingers, but now you have to worry about the:
4. MOUSE movement as well for perception and vision;
This is where the VR really shines because it takes the need for management of one dimension of control away from your hands and gives it to your eyes which aren't actively controlling anything - for any game with realistic helicopters, you'd likely need VR.
Yep!!!
Give yourself some credit ...THAT Sir ...is exceptional flying.
Ha thanks!
4:20 we call it a pedal kick turn
Ah, cool! Thanks! :)
I do not want to lengthen the joystick shaft for any other reason, except to make flying more precise which you clearly have achieved.lengthening
I really do appreciate you helping me. Kindest regards, Peter [South Africa]
Sorry not sure why the text went red
@@peterweir3861 What you are asking about, is to adjust a X and Y output values.
TL;DR: To make a grude analogy, think about limiting your car wheel turning only 180 degrees, so +/- 90. When you are driving normally on the roads, you are fine as turns are not so tight and you anyways do very small +/- 10 degree wheel rotations.
But when you try to park your car, or you try to turn around on the road without reversing, you can't as you have no means to perform 2.5x wheel rotation capability, so your turning radius will be 3-4x of the possible you could without limiter.
----------------------------------------------
Firstly think about your joystick as 0-100% in both X and Y axis, where 50% is naturally the center.
Where can i get the skin and the map of the first Clip?
The island is not a map, it's a mod, kind of like a ship. Have a look for eightball navy assets pack mod :)
@@CommandT thanks dude🙏
excellent flying! what location is this at the start of your video?
It's just one of the Marianas Islands, but the rocky outpost is part of a Ships Mod by Eight Ball.
@@CommandT thanks a lot! :-)
Cheers!
Is it that big of a problem of I use simply a flight stick with no pedals or stick extender?

I mean you can still have fun without an extension of course but to have more precise control there is simply no way round it :(
@@CommandT I agree, :). The Apache is my first Helo, so I have a lot of catching up to do as far as flying a helicopter, lol!
"THIS will TRANSFORM your DCS Helicopter Flying Precision". You forgot the rest of the title.
It should read:
THIS will TRANSFORM your DCS Helicopter Flying Precision for just the low price of $999!
I still liked the video!
The best solution is, practice. That's the real secret.
Is Marianas scenery?
Also. I noticed you have the thurstmaster joystick. One this that improved my flying was switching from the warthog stick to the winwing base. However It only improved my formation and air to air tanking skill. Also made holding 3GS in my tac turns easier.
Interesting. Is there more or less resistance using a winwing base vs TM?
@@CommandTThere is less resistance for minor movements. But more resistance the further you move the stick. So there is more.... but there is also less. Not a good stick for helicopters tho. Maybe with an extension it would be. "more leverage = less resistance"
The fact that you dont really put emphasis on the rudder pedals is criminal. fixed wing vs helo rudders is a huge difference.
"THIS will TRANSFORM your DCS Helicopter Flying Precision" Where "this" actually means have enough money to buy a beefy pc, buy a VR headset and buy a Joystick that enables extensions to be mounted on and rudder pedals.
Yeah just another "git gud" basically.
See my post, you don't need rudder pedals. But yeah, you're right for the rest, it doesn't come cheap. Buth then again, nothing does with DCS>
Where was that lighthouse helipad?
It's actually a separate floating object that you can place like a ship. It's part of some ships mod. If you have a look at Eight Ball on youtube - it's one of his mods)
@@CommandT thanks! I actually already had this civil assets mod. Has some nice ships. Completely forgot there's the island under sea shelf objects menu!
You know what would seriously take this simulator to the next level? Zombies. Lots and lots of them.
I mean would super useful for the side gunner in a Huey, yeah!
Flying helicopter like "the Rock" in Saint Andreas movie ha ha!
Ha!!
giga chad
The skills you have is crazy!!!!
Thanks :)
If you’re not a real helicopter pilot and you can fly this precise in the game, the game isn’t a sim. In real life it’s hard to master these techniques. DCS probably has alot of hidden assists on.
I made the mistake of getting an Oculus .. won't do that again.. I have the RiftS and they stopped support for them so you can't get a replacement data cable unless you pay out the ass for a used one on Ebay and the assholes at Oculus won't let any 3rd party make replacement ones .. so my next VR will deff be HP Reverb G2's , you have to play VTOL if you haven't already.. it's come a long way from early access .. great vid !
TLDR:
Step 1: Have money
Step 2: Buy VR
Step 3: Buy HOTAS extension
I'm a real world helicopter pilot and I can't stand flying helicopters in DCS. They feel way too wobbly and unrealistic to my liking. I've tried and tried to mess with axis tuning and I just can't get it where I want it. Because of that I'm strictly a fast mover guy. Great content by the way, keep it up! I don't have any huey time but I've heard they are very stable. I mainly fly AS350's and EC135's currently and they're nowhere near as wobbly as DCS.
Once you vr there is no way to get back to trackir
I stopped trying to convince people they need VR frankly if there's an ignorant they aren't worth helping.
Question: How to get good....?
Answer: spend money..!
I've been using VR for flying as long as I've been playing DCS. I just can't stand head tracking, it's never worked well for me.
Yeah it depends on personal preference of course. VR is the future for sure
hi
