The 5th point should have been 'Customer satisfaction' - RE don't care about their customers. U can experience this each time u visit their service center with a problem OR visit a showroom to book a new bike for which there is a waiting period. The simply don't know how to manage customers expectation and I would go as far to say that they don't want to try it either. They promise something and do or deliver something else that would only frustrate the customer. This aside, I'm a RE fan and I have used 3 different RE bikes since the past, hence the experience. Cheers!

You are forgetting the most important point... The unreliability of the engine and its electronic components... The sprag clutch bolt could come off anytime, the crankpin can wear out anytime, the crank bearings do not last long, and the primary chain (duplex chain) could break anytime.. Otherwise all you issues are minor ones...
Getting over these reasons and still love your RE makes you a true lover. I have a 2010 model Thunderbird and that is still serving me in an awesome way. I have done Ladakh, Spiti and every circuit you can think of. It has done more than a lakh KMS and I love it to the core

We are same bro you have royal enfiled 2010 model i have Royal enfiled 1980 standard 350cc as well as Royal enfiled musket 700cc and i love them both
I also had 2010 TBTS , regret selling it .
However do not like the new J Series ones as the RE Bullet charm is lost !
So I bought a Bullet UCE engine one now!
i am a solo rider. why i choose dominar 400 over royal enfield ?
1. dominar price over specification are better than royal enfield 350 and even 500. bullet disk brake version standard 350 on road price 1.77 and sinal's price 1.83 bullet 500 disk will cost you nearly 2.4 lacs and DOMINAR on road price 1.96.
2. better speed and performance on straight highway.
3. tubeless tyres.
4. abs (dual channel) gives you more confidence in higher speed.
5. zero vibration till 120kmph.
and more...
BUT.
i miss bullet don't know why..... the riding feel you feel in bullet is can not be found in any bike.

I sold our bullet. It was an elephant that lackd speed, high maintained cost, and no sporty looks and feel. But it was unique and made me feel like a king while riding.
Guys riding RE is all about feel not about the specifications..
Proud owner of rhs bullet 1996 and classic 2020.RE never falls under budget bike,its just our love for it which compels us to buy it. Maintainance is not high at all,if you can do it urself u save labour charges(700rs) on top of it.Things u need to changes frequently is filters and oil(motul,btr than like lqd gun) and chain lubrication every 6 to 8 months.Other things need replacing only after wear and tear.If you expect to ride comfy at a speed 80+ or a vry high mileage it aint for you.As for alternative,its either RE or RE.
No one buys bullets for the said reasons. Apart from Vibration I don’t see the reasons are worth not buying bullet. I am not disrespecting your effort brother but bullets are self explanatory. No one rides bullet on high speed, no one dares to apply singular brakes as the results might be fatal. And there is no alternative to bullets bro it’s a different segment all together... your presentation and command is good brother but this time I could not relate to content... warm Regards

Thanks bhai..But these 5 points can't stop me to buying RE. Reason : I drive max 60-70 on empty highway also ( bcz of bad Indian Highway) So no vibration no requirement of speed. Accessories matter but a little. Main reasons which u missed is quality of parts/accessories and ao on.
I actually think it is a good bike, and seriously considered buying one. But with a ridiculous 3000 km service interval, that put the stoppers on it straight away. Bought a Triumph Trident instead, needs a servixe every 16000 km. Although £2000 more, still a good no frills bike, and lovely to ride.

actually reality is that RE bike dont have any competitors in 350 cc segment.....of course there is honda, java and benelli but they have to work very hard to beat RE💪

Jawa and many more options are available in market . I like RE but it's classic variant are overpriced without giving digital analog , drls and many more features .
Dude I’m personally own a signals 350 and I purchased in jan 18 I don’t have any vibes till 100-105 n also at lower rpm vibes almost negligible and also brakes it has abs and brakes are just stunning I’ve been in few panic situations they just saved me and also RE all the bikes r getting abs

Vibration point is right. But bullet is not for racing it's just to enjoy the ride which is done by slow riding.
1. with allow wheel i can ride 100 km with one hand :D i dont feel any vibrations problem

I think the vibration problem is only in India. I owned 2018 royal enfiled classic 500 gunmetal gray in the USA and easily ride on 130 kmph and I don't feel any vibration maybe the road difference in both countryes.

It is because of the high displacement single cylinder engine with long stroke architecture that Enfield bikes vibrate a lot.
Weight Kam kar denge to Enfield bikes koi nahi chala payega. Mixer grinder par baithne jaisa feel hoga.

Bro first you understand that RE are not made for high speed. No high speed so no vibration. They are made for compfort rides on indian roads, no back pane for longer distances, nice looks, like royal ride, For tough ppl.. Great stability. So don't make any negative videos on these bikes. . Yes we do understand every bike has pro n cons but dont say dont buy these bikes.

spare parts high rates .
Showroom mechanic are not experienced.
Always service center suck our money.
Bike don't have fuel gauge.
We could not fill tank full petrol.if we fill petrol leak from tank cap.
We could not go 80 speed ,if we cross 80 speed fuse will be short circuit.
Bike won't start with our battery or dead battery.
Engine oil capacity is 3 liters , a car can be serviced with 3 liters engine oil,
Chains procket ,has to change for every 5000 kilometers,price 4000
Mileage is 30, petrol rate is 87
I have seen few vehicles ,not even crossed 20000 kilometers , engine got seized.
Lot of vibrations, u cannot ride at least 60 kilometers.nonstop.
Battery has to change every year.
Conclusion:
Instead of buying a royal enfield,you can maintain a second family.

I ride RE for that feel not for speed it’s a piece of cake at 80 speed Lov the connect with the road so it’s not for everyone also but I think sports bike ka charm alag hai iska alag it’s a personal taste
