Great advice. I have two male Labs, neither is neutered! They love each other, it's just that simple, they are always licking each other, the younger is always sucking on the older ones ears. They always lay together using each other as a pillow.
I have never seen this behavior in dogs, I thought I'd have to neuter at least one, but so far they are completely happy together and no aggressive issue's even with food or toys. They share everything and even give things to each other.
We had one for a year and a half before getting the second one at 7 weeks, introduced them slowly mostly for puppies safety, but once he was old enough they bonded. One is now 2 1/2 years old the other is a year and no problems...I don't know that I would recommend getting two males and not neutering them, but in our case it has worked out.

Ideal! What a great bond! I think it's way more common to see this among dogs that are super sociable like plenty of labs can be. I mean I know of several field trial trainers that have plenty of field bred labs. Typically the dogs don't have any aggression towards other dogs. That's not in their nature. They're big sociable goofs, commonly. Looks like you got two highly sociable dogs without any underlying nature towards aggression. It's nice! You can live more relaxed.

@@GermanicHispanic Neutering doesn't solve everything, lol. It's not a magic cure. You still absolutely have to train. In her case, it may be pack structure. These two likely aren't compatible, and may be competitive. They might be able to tolerate the same space, but they may not become friends. Can't really say anything without observing the dogs in the home to see their behavior. In a nutshell, I would say at the least do obedience training with each dog in the same space. Walking two dogs together can be helpful at creating a neutral relationship. Don't let them make the rules. You do. When not supervised, keep them apart if they're apt to get testy and fight with each other. That's my advice. Take it with a grain of salt, because without seeing the dogs, I don't know for sure why they don't get along. They could be competitive over the one resource they want which may be you. Given that they're in the same house and yard, they may be aiming to take claim to the territory. It's a lot like sibling rivalry really. So, you have to step in and set the rules. Giving each dog their own place in the home can help. Mats and crates are great for this. Just direct each dog to their own place. It really helps cut out any rivalry shenanigans in your presence. You direct everything. But, in the end if they're truly not compatible, you might have to keep them separated when they're not supervised. I don't know, haven't seen them in person.

So. I've had these dogs for 3+ years but when my younger male Pyrenees got big my Dane/Shepard started getting aggressive and now they don't like each other. My Dane is usually in the barn pinned up and my Pyrenees runs the farm. I can't trust my Dane around farm animals? Help?

I have a 7 moth old male mix (there is some terrier in him) and he is really good with other dogs as well as humans.. In about six months I am considering to get a Rhodesian ridgeback also male and I was wondering what are your thoughts on that? Thank you in advance.

Omg those dogs are the best. I have a Rhodesian Ridgeback myself and he’s good so smart and all around good dog…he’s unfixed tho so he dosen’t really like other male dogs.

Lmaoo wym don't. You can get any dogs you want either male or female, big or small, breed or no breed. As long as you know how to handle them. They can Co exist just fine.

Maybe some one can give me some advice. I got 7 puppies from the same litter 4 makes 3 females because the friends wanted a puppy each then they changed their minds. The mother dog I don't own. I went to pick everyones puppies up and brought them to my house. So know I'm dealing with dogs fighting seems like every other day. I couldn't take the puppies back to the owner of the mother he gave her away. And shelters are full. And the puppies turned a year old in June 2023 how can I just get them to share the same air space. They try to get one another through the crates. I just need quiet time once through out the day with out someone trying to start a fight. They can't get to one another I have them in crates and let out the ones that kinda get along then I switched them out so nobody is constantly in a crate

Sounds like complete torture. Let this be a lesson to anyone NEVER breed your dog for friends. Total disaster. You can try to find homes for them. Good luck.

😳 thank you captain obvious. I pushed play on your video hopeful that you would have some useful advice, what I received however was 47 seconds I'll never get back. Honestly I wouldn't have bothered watching if I had seen the duration to begin with.
