People talk about music as if the hits are the representatives of the era; I think that the bulk of youth follows and listens what is on the charts that particular week and their quest for keeping up with their like-minded friends makes this music become famous. But as they listen the music of the day, there remain others who keep the gems from the past and pick others up along the way. I myself listen to Jazz from the 60's a lot, but recently I am beginning to see that this sort of progressive genius will persist throughout time and characterize our present in the future. As we shouldn't judge people on stereotypes and their looks, we shouldn't put away the music of today, because as you can hear and feel, you'll miss something. Pearl divers are not scared of the mud. They dig deeper while others give up at the sight of mud.
One of the best Retrowave albums. You wish all Retrowave was like this: free of the loudness war, mastered for harmony. 5/5. I can also detect some tracker music vibes; 23:55, etc. Can't ask for more :D
Despite I like Tommy's work very much, I must totally disagree with you. This album is overall easy listening, more disco feeling, and I never want all Retrowave to be like this. It's light side of RetroWave, and I always prefered dark one more. And it's totaly not one of the best albums, no offence to Tommy. But very good.
There was another series of videos here on YT that used this same "jocasta" looking android lady. I had liked some songs from there but now I can't find them anymore. Anybody happen to remember the names? Some related videos had a blue speaker that would pulse and had EQ lines pulsing with it.
i just heard "Cyber People - Void Vision" and it got me soo damn happy. and it hit me: it reminded me so much of Tommy '86, particularly this EP! i see all the inspiration was there. :)
Somebody asked me today... "Phil, if you could be anywhere, where would you like to be?" I said to him, "Probably right here. " Elko, Nevada. Our nation's high at 79 today... Eggplant out of Parmesan... Because it tastes so good!
7 years later I am still coming back to this masterpiece.

Never heard this guy before. The dancability of this EP is 200%. I was dancing before the music even started.
This album is fantastic! It would fit perfectly in the late 70s to early 80s, but at the same time it's also timeless.
Now streaming on NRW! Tommy '86 comes back with a beastly EP!
Keep in mind these chrome chicks were airbrushed!, no Photoshop then, these are master pieces!
I had a vision of me starting my own 80s nightclub when I listened to Disco Machine. Amazing mind opening track
now I have that Idea and im running with it. thanks! ideas are things not yet materialized!

Love your channel NewRetroWave keep up the legendary work!
Epic EP
This is so good!I'm loving the groove!
I'm not sure a 35 minute, six track album counts as an EP. some metal bands would be like "here's our new full length, dude!"
i would say that electronic music has looong tracks, thus six metal tracks would make 15-20 mins while six elctro tracks will make 30-40 mins
God damn this was fun to listen to
ALl this amazing music makes me wanna get all my recording equipment back on and start making music again. inspiring
I love the Star to the left! It always looks like it is moving! Know '86 did it for effect, subtle effect!
