It's very important to know how to conduct yourself during an immigration interview. In this video, Michael Ashoori explains 5 mistakes to avoid during an immigration interview.
    1. Don't Guess - If you guess on a question and your answer turns out to be incorrect, the immigration officer may think that you are lying and scrutinize your case more highly.
    2. Don't Ramble - For some reason, people think the immigration interview is the place to tell their life story. Do not ramble. Answer the question that is asked of you. Do not answer excessively and do not answer questions that are not asked of you. This can aggravate your immigration officer.
    3. Don't Forget Your Documents - If you forget the documents you are required to bring to the immigration interview, the immigration officer may be cancelled or rescheduled.
    4. Don't Lie.- If it is determined that you lied during the immigration interview, this can cause serious immigration consequences.
    5. Don't be Rude - Make sure to be courteous and respectful to your immigration officer. Do not be rude or arrogant.
    6. (Bonus) Be Prepared - You should know what types of questions to expect during your interview. You should also have a general understand of the process that will take place.

Hello my name is Dave thank you for your videos and I find them Somewhat comforting. We arrived in the USA IN THE 1960 when I was 2 , I don't know any other place but United States I don't have any family left in Canada anymore. and I paid into social security my intire working life my green card is 8 years out of date. They told me it doesn't change my Permanent resident status! But they are withholding my bennifits. 63 years here in California I have been living with the same woman in the same Resident for 19 years. I have a somewhat checkered past. Is it possible that after all this time I could be deported back to Canada? 65 years old can't walk Without a cane or be on my feet more 15 min. Dropped off at the border then what strate to homelessness. And I have payed into the system all my life. Making deposits 2 times a month. And they can just decide that I can't have my money . So I send in the information in the application for a new green card that's when the FBI start to investigate my every action for my intire life
and if they find theyy don't think I'm a moral person they'll just deport me And keepThe money that I paid in. Seems like trying to get a new gre😂en card is the beginning of the end. And as they put it , it doesn't change my Permanent resident status! That's a lot of not changing my status there changing. If I don't update my green card then no FBI Investigation and no deportion And they keep my medical & Social security Benefit. I gotta say I really feel like I'm being Bully , Push around Taking advantage of and being robbed of the money. I don't have a car and I don't drive. I have not worked in 10 years witch means i don't have the money it takes to get a cab or an Uber my woman works Monday through Friday. She can't miss work as she is the person that makes sure I get some food every day. I don't know what 5hey expect people to do but I can't walk over there I can't get anybody to just drive me there all at work paying into there social security. And they act Like I'm purposely taking my time and just blowing it off. OK I'm sorry t
I started to ramble, #2 on your list and I am guilty OK I feel a bit better. Thank For your time.
    Dave Duncan

    Great video. 2 things:
    1. Another point to add to the rambling mistake is you don’t want to give the officer fodder to be used against you. Just like in the courtroom answer the question being asked completely and accurately and nothing else.
    2. With these kinds of videos it always helps to bring in examples from your own practice or other peoples experiences otherwise. That way it gives more legitimacy to your advice

To emigrate with the family to USA…as far as I know your wife as a nurse must take Nclex then if passed she can find employer in US like hospital or nursing home to apply for your wife to USCIS with your documents required … family members will be included too as far as I know …only kids below 21 or 18 I think

I do understand everything said about the six things to be avoided. However the key thing you mentioned earlier in the begining about the amount of interviews exits. That's what stressed them out because due to the amount of interviews! They're tired. It's like anything else dealing with people or the public. You just has to exersized patience & empathy. Without these Interviews etc. There wouldn't held a job.

Please I need someone to help me trade or invest the forex or crypto market because l'm tired of trading in losses myself. I've blown my account
    twice and it's frustrating.

Most people today have been having a lot of failures in forex and crypto because of poor orientation and bad experts.

      That's true. Its really needful
for beginners not to settle for videos alone or they will see themselves losing all their money just like me when I newly started trading with this videos here on RUclips

I really feel left aside hearing and seeing several testimonies from profits they make from crypto/forex investments. Can someone please recommend a good expert that can trade on my behalf and generate
      profits fot me🥺🥺🥺

I agree with you. I'm not here to converse for her but to testify just
for what I'm sure of, she's trust worthy and best option ever seen..

Video tip: don't videotape yourself in front of an open window. The glare from the sun makes it hard to see you and hurts the eyes. Other than that, thank you for the tips!

    1. Great video and thank you.
Most insightful was ‘OK to not know, Dort guess or lie.’
    2. Saddest was having to tell people not to be rude.
    3. ALL of these tips should apply to everyone’s daily life approach as well.

I was adopted back in the 70s by US parents. I am now 60. Since I have been 18 I have tried to get my situation figured out. The adoption went through. I have my delayed California birth certificate. The only thing my adoptive parents never finalized was my citizenship. I keep going to immigration lawyers and nobody seems to be able to help me all they want to do is keep taking money with no results. I need to find a good lawyer in Phoenix Arizona that will help me without making me broke. Thank you.
