Ocean View room & port hole is of interest to us as we are forward Deck 2 ,starboard side for September 14 night cruise in the Maritimes . All 4 cruises are sold out ~ Good thing we booked early ! Looks like it will be tough to tear away from the MDR & eat in the Ocean View cafe. This is our 1st & likely only cruise to celebrate 51years married . The novelty of being on the ship itself , the ships' company reputation for great service , getting the Zero-proof drinks pack to maintain sobriety & not miss anything all looks to become a grand excursion !

Hi Amy. We loved this location. I’ve had it booked many times over the past view years but had to cancel for … we you know 😣 So we finally got to try it. LOVED IT. Quiet, close to elevators but no noise from them. Same with the lobby, coffee bar, martini bar etc. The room window is big, the rooms are new and contemporary. Thanks for watching 🛳️👍🏻
We just completed 10 days cruise from Aruba with Celebrity Summit. The Main dining room is total disappointment, and they use low quality ingredients and cheap quality foods for their customers. It is just a Fancy restaurant with Cafeteria style dishes. However, Oceanview Cafe has great selections, fruit selections, Indian dishes and the Bakery are excellent. The Indian dishes actually are much better than American Dishes. Main dining room is total disappointment, they use grain powder for their watery soup base, such as for clam chowder, and pasta fagioli, they are unacceptable. They also use baby meatless mussels, baby shrimps and baby scallops for Shrimp scampi, they try save money using low budget ingredients, they turn the Main Dining Room into a fancy cafeteria,
Thanks for your info. We never had much of an issue with the MDR but I have heard they have recently been cutting back in there. Our experience was good. We still say their Buffett is the best. Did you know you can ask for Indian food in the MDR even if it’s not on the menu. 😉 Thanks for watching. Cheers 🛳️👍🏻
