Thanks for your vid SF! This build is god, a walking fortress. I fought solo the 1st dragon yesterday with this build and didnt drop a single blood, guard is always up! So epic!
Yep, this pommel stike was the first ability, that got me confused with the amount of damage... I've never noticed before that the numbers change due to the upgrade. Because if i'm not mistaken, not all abilities show that...
I really like the Champion. Very solid, very sustainable, and personally I find it more empowering to knock all enemies down and block dragon claws head-on than being a fragile berserker like the Reaver (never really liked that style). I liked your build, I just miss having more two-handed attacks. I see your logic, but for fun-factor alone I really prefer having more active 2H skills at the expense of some Vanguard or Battlemaster skills. In fact, a cool thing to do would be to pair the Horn of Valor and/or Livid bonuses with a long round of Whirlwind. I tried it, it's so cool to do when enemies are clustered around you! You could probably use a party member to use Horn of Valor for you and then you just use Livid, to spare skill slots. Cassandra's Blessed Blades would make the radius of the Whirlwind a definite killzone in addition to everything else. Solas' Pull of the Abyss could make sure enemies don't escape it.
+ThatOneBoss As i always say my builds are just guide lines. The idea around this is to be unkillable yet over time deal tons of damage. Imagine in a dragon fight that is hard (hard to imagine i know xD) that make take a while. With this build you and your team if you bring one over time will just deal more and more damage. But i totally see your point of view, i was even thinking of adding in more 2H skills but i just couldn't for the build i was trying to make :) Your idea with the whirlwind seems awesome and im sure ill give that a try some time soon.
WarmageRagnar I personally like just taking blackwall and and taking on a dragon, we’re both shrugging off all of its attacks, and sometimes it’s fun to bring sera or bull for some ultimate damage
Thanks, tbh i can't remember since this is such an old video but it looks like a trespasser weapon rather than a crafted weapon. Sorry I couldn't help more.
this is the build for my one shot videos. probably should of shown that now I think of it. This is just the build over my videos that I do crazy damage in as many peopled wanted it :) I could make a montage at some point of the big hits. hope this clears things up :)
@StarFlorge false clickbait video and crap build with very low damage. Sorry buddy you're delusional and awful at the game if that's the most damage you've ever done.
Hey Starflorge do you think you could do a reaver build sometime? I haven't been able to find a single trespasser build and i am really interested in making a elf reaver to romance Solas with. Cheers for the great content :)
+RawRepiCfaiL1 A reaver build has been a planed video for months now, i just cant find a build i like. When i do, hopefully soon i will make it, but it might still take a while before i get it out :)
I rushed the Exalted Plains ti get the specialization materials, with the highest gear crafted with tier 1 materials, and big ennemies like the pit demons still needs three or four rolls to die. I'm eager to see how it goes in higher maps with tier 3 materials. You could see it as a ranged enemies dispatcher, if two mages or archers happens to stand close
I haven't actually done warrior much low level - hence a low level mage and rouge, no warrior :( - But I'd say go 2 hander. Get block and slash and pommel asap and then aim for roll in battlemaster and then go into the vanguard for defence. If you need more damage go back into the 2h tree some more. Hope that helps you out.
+Kadeda Kinda moved onto mass effect atm xD might be coming back to dragon age in the summer but I'm guessing that'll be a bit late xD but anyway the teir list is Reaver in God then champion teir 1 very close to God and templar is teir 3. That's based on late game :)
i think my "to the death" ability is bugged, when i attack the challenged target i gain no guard,i only get the "who's next?" buff when i kill the challenged enemy, whats up with that? anyway great guides keep up the good work
Honestly not sure, this game does have a few bugs. What i'd suggest is save the game and reload a few times, if that fails try going to an older save and see if it works their, that's all i can suggest and just say i hope it works :) Thanks ill do mt best.
Tempest archer is high dps build. you can kill a high dragon within a minute, I also finished the story in nightmare mode within 8 hours ( trespasser not included).
Actually cut of thousands rings (focus skill) has patched in tresspasser DLC, so you will not have unlimited focus skill when you are using flask of fire.
Artificer archer with opportunity knocks and leaping shot can kill a high dragon in less than ten seconds. A throwing blades-based tempest can too, regardless of whether it's dual wield or archer.
Unfortunately i dont yet. I will find it out tomorrow when im back from work for you. Tonight i am busy finishing the new video to come out later tonight and other personal things. But i will find it for you tomorrow :)
As I play on PC it's really hard to notice that xD if you can stop time on xbox then you can use every build combo, but I understand it could be annoying. In the future I could try to make a console build :)
There's no advantage to playing with a controller or keyboard. The game only allows 8 abilities to be mapped. Its the same number regardless of how you play it.
I just got the specialization and I am level 11 with the 2h warrior, should I first unlock the skills to the left and then walking fortress?because walking fortress seems more useful to a 2hander since you already deal a good amount of damage
In case you still didn’t know, it’s from the skill Livid in the vanguard tree. The wings show up when you use the skill with a lot of enemies around you. Don’t know exactly how many enemies needed though.
@@StarFlorge I look up to your cancer builds, I'm having trouble right now with trying to figure out y I cant and if there is a way to add legs and arms to crafted armor I'm on tier 3 already begining on tier 4, so far from what I've seen I can only add arms and legs to gear I find and it's aggravating me.
Glad you like some of the cancer xD Not all armour has arm and leg slots, similar to weapons they dont always have the upgrade slot. If you google the piece and find it on the dragon age wiki, It should say if that piece has upgrade slots or not.
Didn't expect you to respond lol in that case also had a question do you use medium armor or heavy armor for this build for nightmare? And can it handle trials ?
Thanks for your vid SF!
This build is god, a walking fortress. I fought solo the 1st dragon yesterday with this build and didnt drop a single blood, guard is always up! So epic!
Literally killed the hissing wastes dragon solo with this build took forever tho
+The Boxing Irish yeah this build is a slow ramp so towards the end you'll hit hard.

cool video :) I didnt end up waiting for this video lol, i ended up going 2h champ and it worked out well, very similar to this build, cheers!
Thanks :) 2H champion is something I really like after doing this and my sub specials. Glad you like it :)

I enjoy all your videos, some unique builds and ideas. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for enjoying and commenting, happy to share all my builds :)
Nice work as always.
+RiverHB Thanks :) I've had so much fun with the champion now :)
yep only some do, but I think I've worked out which ones do and don't, I'll do more testing so I can give you an answer I know is 100% right :)
10/10 on the concept and execution.
1/10 on the fun factor.
Being invincible is boring :/
+machopi Yeah but many people want a unkillable party member for when all else fails xD don't have to use it, could just use 4 mages, that is fun :)
Many people need to learn to play better :"D
+machopi but other than unkillable tank you have one shot rogues, unkillable KE, cc Necro. many builds are kinda op in this game xD
Think elemental mine nuclear warfare rogue with Tresspasser perks. That shit's ridiculous.
Does Dragon Age have patches? Is this still OP? Looks like fun.
Thanks a bunch for doing them guide :p i appreciate it
no problem :)
and thank you :)
I love this build even to this day 😂
Very nice
Don't know what race to be with this build because it's just given me an excuse to play again
Anyone else notice he went from 66 points to spend in the build section to 44 in the gameplay section
Raging Gaming Yeah, he added tons of skills in both vanguard and s+s. No wonder it looks so effective, it's a lvl 40-something build we're seeing.
Love your videos. Is that a craftable sword. I can't find a single 2 handed weapon with at skull grip? Thanks
Thanks, tbh i can't remember since this is such an old video but it looks like a trespasser weapon rather than a crafted weapon. Sorry I couldn't help more.
I dont get it :l where is the 1 shot? or the insane damage numbers? Im almost sure im missing something big in this video xD help!
this is the build for my one shot videos. probably should of shown that now I think of it. This is just the build over my videos that I do crazy damage in as many peopled wanted it :) I could make a montage at some point of the big hits. hope this clears things up :)
ahhh now it does lol I just kept waiting for that 1 shot. replayed the video like 5 times trying to find it lol
+Jesus Feciano That's my bad, just watch the big hit videos and that shows it off :)
Is this a good AI build?
@StarFlorge false clickbait video and crap build with very low damage. Sorry buddy you're delusional and awful at the game if that's the most damage you've ever done.
Any certain gear that would optimize this build? New to DA btw
Hey Starflorge do you think you could do a reaver build sometime? I haven't been able to find a single trespasser build and i am really interested in making a elf reaver to romance Solas with.

This is one of the most interesting build which I have ever seen, I like it
What gear do you use in this build? Do you prefer offensive, utility or defensive slots if you use schematics?
Btw, your videos are awesome!
I prefer offensive for this. The champion allows you to get enough defensive and utility from the build itself. Glad you're enjoying my builds!
Thank you!
combat roll damage isn't fun it looks and feels totally ridiculous.
Agree it is way to OP, I ignore it in my builds.
I rushed the Exalted Plains ti get the specialization materials, with the highest gear crafted with tier 1 materials, and big ennemies like the pit demons still needs three or four rolls to die.
I'm eager to see how it goes in higher maps with tier 3 materials.

Hi thanks for the build but for this build what u took during the starting of the game ( 2h warrior or sword and shield)
I couldn't find it so i wanted to ask... what is your warrior tier list?
+Kadeda Kinda moved onto mass effect atm xD might be coming back to dragon age in the summer but I'm guessing that'll be a bit late xD but anyway the teir list is Reaver in God then champion teir 1 very close to God and templar is teir 3. That's based on late game :)
Thanks... it's kinda what i actually thought looking at abilities. I did think champion was going to be god all the way through though.
i think my "to the death" ability is bugged, when i attack the challenged target i gain no guard,i only get the "who's next?" buff when i kill the challenged enemy, whats up with that? anyway great guides keep up the good work

still not working, but i still manage to keep my guard on 100% mainly because this build is so OP :D
Croanarhist That sucks that the spell us bugged for you, but glad you're unkillable with this build :D

Stats on armour and weapons?
What armor are you using for this?
Where did you find a mob that changes the appearance of the Grey Warden helmet? Witout these ridiculous wings on both sides it actually looks cool.
What do you mean change the appearance? i didn't see anything change xD I'm so confused :)
I mean a mod, spellcheck got me.
Ahh. Well this is a problem xD i dont have a mod for that i'm just using a crafted helm. Not sure which one it is but no mod :)
Alright. Do you remember where you got the schematic for it? Cuz I'm quite sure that it's unique
Unfortunately i dont yet. I will find it out tomorrow when im back from work for you. Tonight i am busy finishing the new video to come out later tonight and other personal things. But i will find it for you tomorrow :)
Which build dose more damage and is stronger overall this one or the reaver?
The reaver one :)
all these builds only seem playable on pc where you can short-cut your buttons, on console it seems cluster phobic for me.
This still viable + do you have a gear build fpr warriors?

yes, go straight for walking fortress. As you say, you already have damage so go for the defence :)
What helmet are u using?
Possible that it was patched? Coming through is definetly different now. Does not do damage
Huh? Its base damage is 250%. The bug does 500%. As far as I'm aware it still happens

What is the song name? Nvm
what if i dont have the trespasser dlc? i cant access those extra perks.
The best idea is just take the upgrades you can take, it wont be as good, but it'll still be strong :)
wow thanks! :O Also I'm impressed that you respond so quickly.
How do you get so many ability points? D:
from mods, I've made a video on it, you should go check it out :)
Casual Gaming you can duplicate amulets of power, check videos of duplication glitch on dragon age
Post more content I need more reference material
Hopefully soon i'll make a video on what is happening.

From a mod :D
My 2H Templar is much stronger than this. I slaughter enemies with only 2 moves mainly 😏

How is this a 1 shot build
Combat roll and its upgrade one shots the peons
