Tbh I don’t care how the armor looks, I want it to actually do something. Right now, you *can* equip any helmet, since they quite literally ALL have the same stats. Body armor is different, but it’s still the same 5 armor passives slapped onto different models. I agree with the CEO. There’s no need for transmog since you can wear anything you want, all the armors are equally useless. (You survive two more hits from a scavenger, that’s really game changing am I right?) Aside from picking heavy, medium or light armor, there’s nothing that really matters.
If they were to introduce new armor passives, transmog would make a lot more sense but I don’t think it should be a feature anyway. This way you could easily tell: that guy has that armor, he has fire resistance. That guy over there has more ammo because of that armor.

I just want to be able to paint my armor i like the black grey and yellow but my favorite armor in both looks and stat is dreadnought which is brown and silver

I am with the devs here, different armors have different performance, end of story. I think it's simply a matter of players being spoiled by other casualised games that give them everything on a silver platter. I hope the devs will stay true to THEIR vision and not give in into fan's peer pressure.
