Hi Brian, love your videos! Wondering if you could do a video on how you pack your backpack. You touched on some points in this video but a designated video would be great!
If you bring the extra phone you could have a pretty great movie selection/audio books downloaded for those crappy days in the tent! Then you won’t drain the other phones battery as well! I kinda like the sounds of 2 haha
Run the dehavilons with the full leg zip, super airy when getting hot. I also really like the first lite catalyst foundry pant. Thicker fleece lined pant but full leg zip so dump heat very quick
SG pants also have a built in belt as I'm sure you know. But it's actually a really comfortable idea and eliminates that extra padding/rubbing in the hip belt
I remember awhile back that you mentioned you get really sweaty feet. I run Injinji coolmax toe sock liners under my Darn Tough socks and since then I've never gone back. They look ridiculous, but it keeps my feet from sweating and I've yet to get a blister in between my toes (or anywhere else for that matter). In 3 seasons of HARD hunting. You should give em a try!
I actually found that toe sock liner/merino sock combo while researching for ultramarathons. From some serious ultramarathon runners, that was their best solution to combat sweaty feet that are prone to blisters

Yes Matt, we have done this quite a few times. You can really get the air circulating. It works great.

Why not put a tyvek on top of your pad also to catch any of the sparks from the stove? Idk just an idea
