If no one pointed it out to you - how would you have known? Also as a tip: Do not skip the intro of the battle right away. if you wait untill the part where marian is shown in the cockpit of the mech ( and THEN you skip ), the AI of the NIKKEs on your team you don't control will aim at the core instead of the launchers. This will help taking down the core quickly at the beginning of the battle. Cheers!

When she was lost in the darkness, she still maintained her light to the very end. Now that she was fully consumed in the darkness, I still see small flickers of that light she had that day. So its time to bring that light back to her.
The are 3 points I can put up here. 1. The beginning of the OST begins with a dilemma, as in the Chapter 0 cutscene post boss battle, Rapi says that NIKKEs can't execute their own kind. So that is a question of morals asked by melody, as it's your first time fighting a Heretic, a NIKKE, and someone relevant to the lore, the important ones. 2. The calm at 0:35 and subsequent ones always get me. It's just like lunch breaks, that kind of break is nesseccary for further build up, also it's also very relaxing for the mind. I swear if I was anymore emotionally invested in this that part will make me a wreck of snot & tears. 3. The change in 0:56. It's the musical equivalent of saying "The world as you know, it's falling apart". This hits even harder when you listen to this after understanding all the lore & story set up. This track is a roller coaster ride, it takes you to Chapter 0 to right now. I am not a knowledgeable person in music, but I'm very much a person who *feels* what the track wants to convey.
for me in this ost you have two part, the melodic part (Marian) and the electronic one ( the queen inside here) and the two are mixed or rather figthing for taking control (as you can see Marian come back to here sense after the fight i'm only at the begin for chapter 11 i'm really exited to see what's next *o*)

With overzone, I'd give it an 8, at least, ngl. They really put a ton of worldbuilding and ideas into the game, even small things like the school have a part to play in how screwed up the Ark is.

最近のゲームやアニメで使われるハードコアやダブステって基本、プレイヤー、見てる側の心情をメチャクチャにしたい時が多いよなぁって思ってたけど、モダニア戦におけるハードもハードなこの曲は、その中でも群を抜いてるなぁって強くワイのオタク魂に刻まれた
アートコアとハードスタイルの融合がボス曲っていうシチュエーションにこんなにガシッと合致したストーリーもそうそうないっすよ。BPMが遅めな構成なのにサビ前でいきなり転調が入ってBPMがグンと上がるのも焦燥感が引き立てられるし、そこからやってくるサビもニケの曲の良さに惹かれた人のみわかる至極のリミックス。120点。
