- This video is not to put down anyone working in Dom care...this is just my own opinion and it was a great start for me. Some people still love and enjoy working as a Domicillary carer and some people dont.
It also depends on the company you work for♥️

Thanks for the details. Care home job type is the best.
Totally agree!
I worked as a domiciliary healthcare assistant in 2016 during my masters and it was so stressful cause no car to drive and I usually finish 8pm and would be so tired now I’m hearing of some domiciliary workers closing 10pm! that is full human exploitation and the uk government needs to do something about it
Some people was me....I close 10pm most days 😩...it's now I believe I am a super woman
My dear. If they don't do something about it, they'll always lack workers.
@@vividbaby4157 That is why it is still on the shortage occupation list after so many people entered via the care visa
@@AsaBigjoe mine is 11 I flee
@user-qm2hv9by7e that is what this video is about....most people don't know the difference or what the job entails until dey start working ...Dey just say home care or home support
You are glowing❤❤❤
Thanks baby ♥️
I'm doing the Domiciliary own oo but I hardly get shift. Just got a care home own. Resigning from the Dom soon

Lovely hair colour 👌🏽
thank you dear
My dear am doing support now but it's not easy in the UK.. I have been absent on my channel as well.. in God we trust
My dear it's not easy anywhere but where you are is actually better than where you are coming from so just Gather the strength and keep going.....It's not easy at first and you are just new to a foreign land...it will be better ♥️
I shaa wasn't listening to what you were saying 😅🤣🤣 cos I was focused on your hair....
Damn the hair is hairing 🥰
🤣🤣🤣🤣Thanks baby
It's the Support Work for me
Soft work
even the night shift sometimes can be sleep in ....na real soft work
@@AsaBigjoe
Yes sis
I love the hair
thanks dear ♥️
This is very detailed
thanks for watching♥️
Wow.. this is lot..never knew domiciliary carers wash clients clothes and cook. It's really a lot
Yh there usually a washing machine and sometimes a drying machine and for some people there's already a ready made meal you microwave....Check the video on my worst day as a carer I posted the kind of foods I usually buy...them for some people I cook fresh meals everyday
And they change the pads for those who are incontinent or put them on commodes which are mobile toilets that they then have to empty. The job is not for everyone. I talked about alternatives on my channel 😍
B4 I entered UK I knew domiciliary isn't for me!
So I didn't even search for jobs in dat area... its care home for me, anytime anyday... n I got it to the Glory of God.
I'm glad u changed to the one that suits your family....
Congratulations
Thanks for sharing!! Maybe when u try support you will say that one is better for you lol

I will check it out....will post an update soon
your beautiful and elegant love your style,am planing on coming to uk ireland specifically how can you guys advice me ,please
Are you coming as a student or a worker
@@AsaBigjoe as a worker my dear
Oh my beautiful baby
My boo 😘😘😘😘
See as you fine ❤
thanks baby 😘😘😘
Domicilary care no be here ooo. I start by 6:30 in morning. Its brain draining sometimes 😅
it is my dear
It's well my dear
On a student dependant visa.will your stay start counting too
If I get sponsorship I'll switch visa
Care job generally is mentally and physically draining
Not all of them....I know some people that are chilling big time
I am about to do live in care . The pay is not up to 800 but 700.
Then imagine 20% tax taken out of it
So annoying plus national insurance
Most of the people I know are being paid 800 and above Daz why I said for the ones I know ....but this payment is meant to be per week it's better than wat some oda ppl get oo
@@AsaBigjoe yes it’s per week but depends on the patient you are taking care of sha
@@chiomacletus8508 my dear just be glad for where u are...ppl are getting less than £200 per week and dey are still paying bills
@@AsaBigjoe yes dear thank you 🥹
@@chiomacletus8508 it will get better with time....
You look so beautiful ma
Thank you so much♥️
So what are u doing now? Still care?
I'll update you soon....turn on post notification
Wow, is that how little they pay before taxes? why are Nigerians selling their properties and paying to migrate only to work long shifts and don’t spend time with fam.
Everyone wants to Japa but they don’t know the struggles associated with living abroad
if you ask me ...na who I go ask 🤷
Domiciliary care is a temporary job ,it's supposed to be men thing because from videos I have watched so far it's stressful!
Support work is the key thing and it's flexible for mother's too
But how do you people manage to do the cooking especially having low knowledge for British dishes?
I really want to know
Carehome is great too
Flexible for night shift especially couples taking turns because my sister is doing that presently
Very true my dear...for the cooking I posted a video on my worst day as a health care assistant where I showed how we shop their food....for some people you will learn how to cook their meals during the shadow shift while for others it's ready to cook meal which u just micro wave
@@AsaBigjoe good afternoon, do you have a telegram group please?
Am still on it n it has not been easy
God will give you strength unimaginable and a better job at the right time....hang in there sis ♥️
@@AsaBigjoe Amen
@Asa BigJoe mine reads this:
Welcome to ...Social Care Limited, your role with our company is as a RGN/Team Leader/Support worker. As informed at the interview, we are a recruitment agency and only supply candidates to clients on requirement basis to cover short fall in the client’s employee manpower, hence, you will be employed on a 40 Hour Contract.
What role does this mean o?
It means you would be working for the agency and you get shifts based on when a care home lacks enough staffs to do work so they give you shifts. 40hrs means the number of hours you would work in a week
This is an agency that you will be working with....dey have different clients dey will be sending you to so you will have to work at different places ....so u can't say for sure
@@AsaBigjoe does it mean I can have time to do other things like enrolling into a school? Since my shifts won't be everytime.
@Dave Pickston Yh exactly better to get sponsorship with a care home
@Dave Pickston Yh agencies will just kill you. I don’t let them do that to me.
God will see you through. We must get this sponsorship in Jesus' name 🙏
Amennnn♥️
Will the company tell u before hand dat is Dom care u are coming to do??
How den will someone with 2 or even 3 kids cope plus the husband need to work too Nawa o
Yes they will...That is why you will need to read everything about the company the usually write 'Home care' but if you don't know, you don't know
@@AsaBigjoe Chai I don dey fear o
@@kaysstitches4507 it's a good start if you don't have any choice but u should have plan B
@@AsaBigjoe ok tnks so much
Please are they going to pay me if I quit the job. I am having the same experience too
Yes dey will ....but you need to read your contract again and know the best way to do it
Asa pls what are the requirements for the care home job
Some people will not need you to have previous experience while some will need
Domiciliary Care is by far the worst thing in the world. It is indeed only a learning curve, I'm also doing it and struggling every day. This is my 8th month in the UK.
Let me get you flowers 💐💐💐you are the real MVP
Wow! Share your own story. I will love to hear your own story
You have spoken well ma. Uk government should look into domiciliary jobs as it is not just making sense at the end of the day. Imagine having kids and doing such jobs as a mother.
some mother's prefer it
How much do home care workers earn per hour
Depends on the company...from £10.42 per hour
I know it’s not funny but the way you said “tied rope on their neck” 😅
I won't wish my enemy to be in dat situation ooo it's scary
Jeez! This is really modern day slavery, because why can’t you just handle one client for a whole day. You are humans not a robot, even if it’s not live in-care.
my dear ehn hmmm if I start to talk many tables will break
so are you able to work any other job with the visa given
I am on a student dependent visa so I can do any job I want to except sports
Very good information.Dear I really need to discuss something with you,can I get you email address or
you can send me a DM on IG
