If you collect all the hidden eggs you will unlock the hidden level in chapter 26. After completing it you will earn the "DING" achievement.
If you are familiar with the gameplay of LIMBO this level shouldn't make you pull your hair out, but it's important to pay attention to the sounds cause 80% of the level is in complete darkness.
I've also added a death counter for good measures.

This little level is actually genius when you try and connect it to the lore. The game is meant to be a loop, going through the same journey over and over again, but just ending up back where you started. So you find all of the secret collectibles and you find the alternate path. You attempt it over and over again, hoping that SOMETHING will be different. But you finally get to that elevator, and you finally ascend...just to end up back in the loop. Because as the achievement says... "Running off will get you nowhere". There is no escaping the loop, no matter how much you try to change it.
Well, if it's a loop, what explains the girl at the end? She didn't seem to be in a loop.
I think of it as something similar, but more like he can't avoid facing his and the girl's deaths. I didn't think it was a loop
@@applescruff1969I'm pretty sure limbo is the place between heaven and hell and you're a boy trying to find out where your sister ended up going. And the end she's glowing white so heaven. (Srry for replying 1 yr later)

There are explanation about the story in "SuperHorrorBro" channel, and it was sad story indeed, because that both girl and boy, already died, and every puzzle and danger in the Limbo, represent his fear and what he already experience at his life, including the no gravity and glass break at the end, its represent the incident that caused his dead, the car crash
If you can get though this room without dying you deserve the utmost respect

@@Buckanans-Agus And I got it in less than an hour (55 minutes or so) in my second day of playing the game.
However, the guy said "without dying". That would make it way harder.
I did it without dying a few hours ago and I only started Limbo 3 days ago. So I guess I deserve your respect lol

I sneaked checked this out and realized this was beyond my gaming abilities but I still wanted to find all the eggs. Needless to say, I did not find them all so I took some help. But man it was worth it, this level was amazing. Really one of the highlights, what a treat from the devs. Really challenges you while delivering the LIMBO atmosphere and making use of their gorgeous yet terrifying sound effects. I was sweating, smiling and had a stroke or two.

Help me where is the 10th egg these guys just skip the 10th and ho straight to 11

So this a is a short cut for the game :)
I just did the whole thing thinking there was gonna be a bonus cutscene or something but nope just an achievement that says “Running off gets you nowhere”

I went through hell trying to get through that room. Believe me folks you had better listen real close because you definitely cannot rely on your sight too much.
The moment you get in that elevator and that music kicks in... Pure bliss!

Agreed, already the precision platforming was frustrating enough but then they cranked it up a notch for this secret level.

And the Saws was the worst for me. I can't see, only hear. And yet, almost in the last I died. But ok I completed this.
Some of the levels need hearing with little visual clue and it's a challenge to get through
One of the hardest levels ever. I just beat it and now thinking back I wish I put on my bose headphones because sound is hugely important. If you are attempting to play this level I would suggest plugging in a headset.

The Ding achievement i just unlocked it recently and it was the best feeling in the world when i was in the elevator at last
Just did it and have to say it definitely felt amazing to actually beat it and get the achievement. Its literally a small little level but brutally hard. The pitch black 3rd buzzsaw probably killed me more than anything in a video game ever.

The part with three saws on the floor got me so bad lmao, really enjoyed this secret level though. It was super fun to go back and find the eggs and then rely on my hearing rather than sight for most of the obstacles.

More like alternative route but after finishing the game lol.
I just did it myself and really enjoyed it the way it is (as an alternate path that reconnects to the normal one).
The fact that there are basically two routes also makes it more interesting for speedrunners

Absolutely loved and hated this level. One of the most ingeniously designed platform level I have ever played. And ending it with "machine gun tranqulity" is truly memorable.
That was terrifying thank you.
Aside from these near impossible challenges of secret areas, nobody else does it like Playdead Studios. Jesus this is so difficult to access first time around and let alone beat. It's awesome
Just cleared this level. I was stuck on the part where you had to jump over those 3 mini circular saws back-to-back in total darkness. I didn't need a guide because I knew what I had to do, but it's hard, man. Having to rely only on the audio cues to guide me... it felt so hopeless. I came here because I needed to see another player clear this part as a morale boost. And what do you know... after your "Yes!" I went back in for another go, and cleared it first try. Thank you! Your victory gave me the push I needed to keep going. I got my damn egg, and it felt amazing.
Compare to the achievement that is no more than 5 deaths, this is much easier to do
This is way harder than not dying
@@Kvzadlchuga well "no point in dying" is honestly the hardest achievement to get.. if you're sucks bad like me, for this level you don't have to think about dying too many times and also since NPID required some godly skills and patience especially on the last part. shit is hard asf

This level is not hard if you use your head set properly.
Just completed this level(took tips from this video). Man after every obstacle i thought maybe this is the last one but they kept coming😅. And when i got in that elevator and that music❤-heaven . I'll never ever forget this game. Has a special place in my heart.

I somehow got this achievement without doing this level while being stuck on the gravity box chapter
I have a theory that when you got the fake egg you hear a buzzing sound which sounds like the bug that nearly takes you to the light (ending the loop) but fails which means the bug was about to take him to the light again but the limbo stopped it making the boy continue the loop

Omg the beggining when you go under the thing when there are no lights and that bug gets you on the head is soooooo hard and i cant even reach the monsters that eat them off your head! I wanna smash my TV into bits

Finally, I did it, and I didn’t watch the end of this video until AFTER I beat that hell of a fucking torture chamber, and it was just a fucking shortcut!?! I was expecting a secret ending, FOR FUCK'S SAKE!

I despise the saw blade in the dark it’s so annoying, took me longer to beat that part than to do the rest of the level
There are 11 eggs but I only find 10 when I search RUclips where is the 10th egg
The first saw got me punchihg the wall because its impossible to climb onto that ledge

Edit: I used to remember this game as an atmospheric milestone for gaming. Then I played INSIDE and now I can't appreciate this game as much as before.

krisna wilantara it's on Xbox 360, Xbox one, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Steam and mobile. There's not much way to differentiate them from gameplay footage since there's no button prompts, not even on-screen buttons on mobile. The only main difference between versions is the different menu on mobile than on the other platforms

I own little nightmares and both limbo and inside and their all spectacular games in my opinion they be a little short but they are still very good games
I found this by accident so I went here on youtube...hahahha i already finished the game yesterday so I got bored and play it again and I accidentally saw an egg on early game on top of a tree
