I feel like my mind is breaking just hearing a truck that's identical to mine except for yours is a different tone of black but hearing it idling like it's about to eat the neighbors S-10 gets me every single time bro thats one helluva truck you've created wow bravo 👏
That is a weapon! We are building a Daily Driven Landspeed 93 Ford Ranger on our channel. Sticking with the 3.0l V6 for now though. Love the chop on that Blueprint 306!
I want to go old school with my 2000 2wd Ranger and do the 302/carb swap - my question is what do I do with all of the computer wiring to the original 3.0 and I still need everything to still work in the truck (fuel pump, lights, radio, ignition, gauges ect)
I wired around all the efi stuff didn't hook up what I didn't need. Then went back and chased all the wires back to the plug on the pcm and pulled the unused ones. As far as gauges I made an aftermarket cluster with analog gauges
That's awesome, what kinda seats are those?!? I Wana put new heated and cooled seats in mine real bad. I found a guy that's got Lincoln seats for 350 for 2 beige seats... I don like the color but I want the comfort and leather and heat and cooling action.
geat muscle truck, i hve the same project , with a 2003 ranger , but a 351w aftermarket super flow heads and supercharged , im thinking about what transmission could to make the work in that beast.
When you purchased your blueprint crate engine did you have any problems getting it I tried to purchase one to do my swap in a 97 Ranger they tell me it would not work
I want to do something like this.. don't really have the space and equipment to start.. don't have the knowledge and experience either but I work at those as best I can. So awesome.
I'm in the same boat but I've done a swap before, but now I don't have a shop. I don't mind working outside but I'm on a hill and gravel driveway, not the best spot
the swap kit was like 700. and there was probably another 300 in random stuff to make it work . depending what motor you go with and all that will determine what it really cost you lol
Bro I’ve got an 03 regular cab XLT with about 90k miles. I’d love to put a pushrod 302 in at some point. Do you happen to know if any tremic 6 speed mates with a pushrod 302?
I cut the gauges out and used the back piece of the cluster to bolt it in. I got some thin plastic sheet and screwed that to my backer for the cluster. then I cut the holes where I wanted the gauges and popped them in. I'll have to look for the pics
@@aydawg18 oh wow ok cool. Yeah I got the 3/4 I-beam drop a few weeks ago, but the truck needs to be dropped one more inch in the front and I have no idea how to do that. They don’t make 1” drop springs for the ranger. They have 2” drop springs, but that might be too much.
@ZYXWVUQ992Q pull the coils out and cut exactly 1 right off. Straight down from where it ends right now. Go 1/2 of one at first maybe and see how it sits.
@@VirussCx if you want to do a 5.0 automatic this is what I've heard, the stock ranger 8.8 rear end will work. Get a 5.0 and all the wiring from a ford explorer with a 5.0, the ford explorer engine mounts, I've heard explorer transmissions work, and maybe a custom driveshaft.
Awesome truck! How much did it All cost (ball park idea) to get it all finished? This truck badder than an SVT Lightning pound for pound IMHO as a Ford fan. Kudos to your team who made this dream become a reality 👌🏅
@@aydawg18 awwwe I gotcha alright. I was about to look at an 04 with 150k on it but it had electrical and Clutch issues. I have enough shit boxes to rebuild figured I'd ask to buy something already done up.

You haven't seen very many trucks then. This is a pretty mild build.

My dream truck.Sure miss my old 5sp 3.0 2003 Splash.I want it back with a 5.0 in it.
Nice ranger, excited to put mine together when it warms up.
Are you anywhere near the south brother?
Amazing job. Also your a saint for showing dyno results lol
Really?
i like how u drive it kinda hard at the end to show us what it can do instead of just shots of it cruising down the street
Finally someone showing what their shit can do! Nice video.
I think I just got an idea if my old man ever wants to sell his ranger thanks🤝
Great job on the truck! I like how your not afraid to use it. Did you use the factory throttle cable? If so did you shorten it?
thanks! haha right thats whayvi built it for! i used the factory cable uncut
