    Very nice! Thanks for posting! Most of the lures I make are between 1 and 1 1/2 inches long to imitate the minnows and young fish fry that the big predators feed on early in the summer. These small lures do very well.

    • @haru834
      @haru834  Год назад +1

      Thank you!. The shears I use are made by a manufacturer called "Tanaka". However, the name of the manufacturer changed a few years ago and is now called "Motokoma". I have been a long-time user of these shears because they can easily cut not only FR-4 plates but also stainless steel plates.
      Here is the URL to the manufacturer's website (in Japanese): www.mkk-tools.com/universal-shears/BH-180.html .

      Hello, thanks for your message. I bent this wire myself to fit the lure template. I use small round nose pliers for jewelry making to bend the wire. It bends the wire into a nice round shape.

    What is that @12:26? Is it epoxy that comes pre-loaded in little packets to make easier to inject into tight spots, like a lip slot?

    • @haru834
      @haru834  2 года назад

      Thank you for your question. This little packet is a "Paper Piping Bag" used for cooking and sweet making. These cones are useful for pouring epoxy into tight spots. Please watch this video to see how to make the cones.

      Thank you for your message. When I make minnow lure, I often use 3D eyes. On the other hand, when making crankbaits, I often choose painted eyes. Because, I feel that painted eyes are cuter for crankbaits.

      Бальза - самое легкое дерево. Ну и обрабатывается соответственно легче всего.

    • @haru834
      @haru834  2 года назад +2

      Thanks for the question. There are two reasons why I used balsa wood. The first is that it is soft and easy to process. Balsa wood can be cut with a cutter knife or sandpaper, so it is easy to make the micro lures. The second reason is that I am used to using balsa wood. There are many lightweight and buoyant materials, but I have been using balsa wood for many years, so I am less likely about making mistakes in design or painting methods.

    Hi Haru. Very nice tutorial. Would you be so nice to tell me how long you keep the lure for drying after Cellulose before you draw it back to Cellulose and turn the lure for another drying period? 🙏

    • @haru834
      @haru834  2 года назад +2

      Thank you for your question. Sorry for the delay in replying. The drying time for the lures after cellulose lacquer, depends on the temperature and humidity, but in my case it is about two hours. However, advance to the next process, cellulose lacquer must be completely dried. Therefore, after the sixth cellulose, I keep the cellulose dry for one to two days to dry thoroughly.
