Thank you for another fine lure-making video. Because this surface crankbait SEEMED at least somewhat similar to the "flat-sided surface crank bait" you made not long ago, I tried to put the "testing" portion of both videos side by side on my monitor so that I could compare the actions of the two lures. But I think actually watching them being retrieved through the water--as you did--is perhaps the only good way to identify the subtle differences. Could you describe what YOU saw and how the two differ in their swimming action? Did one design turn out to be more effective than the other? My enjoyment of "wakebaits" like these is what prompts my questions. Best, Chris (USA)
Thank you for the message. I use a brand of coating called Nagashima. Unfortunately, this company does not seem to be able to sell their products overseas. If I had to choose a similar epoxy coating... I would prefer one with high transparency and a longer cure time, in my opinion. In my experience, epoxies with shorter cure times feel hard but brittle. *Nagasima: www.nagashima-manbou.co.jp/shop/index/10 .
Hello there. Thanks for your message. I bought this tool with two clamps from an internet store. Its original purpose is soldering, but it is also very useful for lure painting. I think they are probably called "soldering clip holder" or "soldering clamp stand".
The places you fish look beautiful!
Thank you!

Tus videos son muy buenos, 🥇, has pensado en hacer un umbrella rig???
Suerte y buena pesca 🎣
Thanks!. I made an umbrella rig about 10 years ago, but I haven't made one since, so I need to remember how to make an umbrella rig.
