    This guy knows his shit
    I watched this way back in 2013 when I was just an amateur and a beginner in boxing, now 2017 all these years I've maintained my training, I've maintained my running!
    All that hard work, some injuries here and there but now I understand what he was talking about YEARS and YEARS to develop.
    My stamina has never been this good before, my main exercise was just running!
    I still boxed and did a bunch of other cardio drills but running was my go to !
    Mix up your runs, some times 5 miles or 6 miles, if you cant run that far without stopping just try 3-4 miles, the main thing is get your body use to MAINTAINING a good speed and FINISHING it!
    Also, some times go to a track, 400 meter sprints and 200 meter sprints
    then the next day, go right back to 4-5 miles jogging
    repeat and repeat
    you will notice changes! you will run faster! you will feel better and the main thing, your Boxing Stamina will improve!
    When I first started boxing my stamina was shit, even when I was training and competing I was always getting tired
    But when I took time and put the work in my stamina got better, now I will never get tired unless I get hurt in the ring or something happens to me that has never happened before like I break a rib and get fucked in the body or some shit!

      Wow, it makes total sense, as a boxer I want to be prepared on a professional level no I am not an amateur, but once I get signed up I want to be on another level.
      Thanks for the comment I’m really thinking about going to practice everyday but on the days I don’t go up in the ring I will just focus on stamina.
      Bicycle, treadmill for 30 minutes.

    The best way to increase stamina is hill sprinting, sprint as fast as you can up the steepest hill around you then jog down it. You want your heart rate to explode to condition it properly so ur heart pumps more blood like he says. Also spar a couple rounds were u throw at least 200 punches then s

    I train at least 5-6 day’s a week, I normally start rope jumping for 30-40mins, then shadow boxing for another 30-60mins. Now my question is that some days I feel drained out and others I’m full of energy, why is that?

      You are not controlling your intensity wisely over a week. Your program intensity is off, sounds like you are not paying attention to what uses up your max energy or failing to control it.
      Also your diet, try adding more carbs if you know the next day you will do a drill that drains you heavily. Boxing taxes your CNS, like a weightlift trainer of mine said, you can workout intensely or long but you cant do both.

    there are 7 days in a week so why dont you do low intensity jog and 2 high intensity jogs and then for skipping ut apply the same to.You will have time to recover and no it does not mess up you knee because you bone density increases so your low intensity will let your bones get stonger

    • @zwoope

      Watch Ali and Klitschko. Ali's lean in jab is great if you can move fast enough to get away from the counter right and Klitschko is a prime example of posting style jabbing. I'd learn your right from someone that has similar power and then learn the palm up jab and rising jab and you should have a pretty good game going.

    I wonder. What type of routine can I do if I only have a boxing bag, angle bag, a double-end bag, and a speed bag. How many rounds on each bag, and how many seconds...30 seconds on, or 3 minutes non stop? I also have a speed rope, battle ropes, and other gym equipment. I just don't know how to setup a regime/circuit. I also don't want to do the same routine where my body gets used to it and my body stops improving. Any ideas?

    • @xDiaBoLiKGaMeRx
      @xDiaBoLiKGaMeRx 8 лет назад +1

      mix them up and change the intensity of each workout dont just go low intensity all the time,not that you will not improve that way but it wont have a great impact than if you changed the intensity,i saw couple of videos that say use realistic training as if you was in the real match,so if you are training for boxing you should do like 3 minute rounds in high intensity then change for a while to moderate to low and back top high intensity again,stop for 1 minute then continue doing the same,but you can also do what you like, you will see results anyway just make sure you train hard and eat healthy.

    He never fought a 12 rounder and you can pick out people using steroids at the gym, it is fairly easy, estimate about 50%. A lot of guys that look super cut or veiny and even some guys that are getting fat are on steroids.

    how can someone build up to have a stronger chin? What workouts?

    • @zamzamxiv
      @zamzamxiv 8 лет назад

      you cant really train the chin, but you can forsure train and strengthen your neck which helps keep your chin stable and rigid. IF you notice, many people known for taking a punch, have thick necks.

    • @zwoope
      @zwoope 8 лет назад

      You are better off to learn a more sound defense if you have a bad chin.

    • @zwoope
      @zwoope 8 лет назад

      Fonfara has a pretty thin build and he can take Stevenson's punches. Ali's neck wasn't crazy and he could take Foreman's, part of it is mental, part of it is genetic, part of it is keeping your chin tucked and not trying to be Gatti.

    • @BewareOfTheFLuFF
      @BewareOfTheFLuFF 8 лет назад

      Chew on thick gum. Sugar Ray Robinson swore by it

    • @zwoope
      @zwoope 8 лет назад

      Blitzkrieg Gameplay Chavez and Chuvalo did that also, but I don't know that there is anything to it scientifically. Mayweather did a lot of the same things and had a pretty mediocre chin, so it's all relative.

    so with that being said, what you wanna do, is take some of your own blood out, like about half a pint, put it in a brown glass bottle, and store it in the fridge. then, the next day or so, re-inject that blood back into your body, and viola!, instant stamina booster! its safe, its all natural, and best of all, its just you!
    you don't want to do this by yourself. if you or your coach don't already have one, ask someone in your gym if they could recommend a good phlebotomist.
    *go get 'em champ ;-)*
