I've struggled with Tana in the past. It's not an intuitive app. According to Cognitive load theory, we always aim to increase the germane load and decrease the intrinsic and extraneous load. So I'm giving it another go. I'm not married to any particular tool at the moment but I'm giving Tana another try.

Two questions.
How does Tana know who is who at the meeting. I realise that one nominates the attendees, but then how does Tana know when Tom speaks, and then Paco speaks etc???
Also, are they going to do anything about a proper mobile App? I am under the impression that we have “Tana Capture”, but what happens when one is in the field and needs to retrieve information???

Is there a way to easily move items in Tana to Heptabase?

There is no need to move things over. Referencing them is enough. We use both as different systems. Tana for Shallow and Heptabase for Deep Thinking. Hence, the moment we move from the Shallow to the Deep Thinking system, we'll reference back to the item in Tana using simply the URL.
