My Brova, ya video is HELLA IMPRESSIVE and definitely helped me burn my wide strips in my lawn. Wish I could show you a pic. Thanks for the simple directions my lawn is the BEST ONE on thr block from nothing but weeds.👍🏽👍🏽
Great video! A couple things to help the new striper if that is your thing...as you said - higher & healthy grass will stripe better...I like between 3.25"-3.75" in my northern climate. I find the best 'pop' is stripes that travel in the same direction as the sun moves - East to West. Go over each stripe two times (cut your lawn twice)...follow this pattern for two to three weeks/mows...then change direction (perpendicular or diagonal and repeat - this is to avoid rutting)...do when the grass is healthy and moist but dry to the touch and the ground is firm...have fun with it...
Make a striping kit at home easy and cheap with bungee cord, pvc pipe, super glue, crushed rock or anything heavy you can fill it with. Adds that little bit something extra that’ll make your neighbors jealous 😂
A striping kit would do the job, but my lawn stripes good without one. Plus, I don't see the average homeowner building a stripe kit. Even though its simple to us, it may be difficult to them. As long as they have the cutting pattern down and they want to take it a step further by adding one or building it, they can do so 👍🏾
Ha Ha!!! Good job man, I feel this is definitely harder than it looks! I do Double/ Singles and then screw it up! Maybe I’ll try this method…and before I start cracking the beers! 😂
Great job ! Can I give you a suggestion instead of going back down your second row lane try going down the middle of the two passes your stripe will be more defined give it a try thank me later !!
Hello J Will, I don't have an attachment, or do I own a stripe kit. What you're seeing is the reflection of some good turf. I did a video that shows you how I cut and how those stripes actually bleed into the lawn. I did this with my push mower and my commercial mower. Check it out when you get a chance. 👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾 ruclips.net/video/yR_bierf1Rg/видео.html

Thank you. @@PoloFieldsLawnService i had to write it out on paper..wheww! i think its all about 4"s, 1 up 1 back(which is really 2 up - 2 back)--then remember to go over the 'up lane' again and the 'back lane' again...in its same direction to produce 2 lanes of 2...in other words you do go back over a lane to make it the same direction.? And, brother if you understand this, god does bless you. Thank you. As i want to try it this week....
@@PoloFieldsLawnService ok.. so i tried it out--i did see some results..it takes/took a few extra walk through s, and i had to remember what was up. and what was down..to match the downs to make 2 rows with the ups...if you get it...i think maybe, might, maybe i got it! :O) wheww!

You and me both 🙂
Since I'm the only guy that stripes my lawn in the neighborhood, I GOTTA try this! Super clean man! Beautiful yard!
Thanks Clay, they're definitely gonna look for sure 👌🏾
Can’t wait to try it. I’m going with 28-30in mower for BIG stripes.
@@timlee6794 LET me know how it goes 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Good explanation. I just do single doubles since my yard is more on the smaller size. Same thing but faster
I do that every now and then as well.
WELL EXPLAINED we working 💪 here in southern TN 👏 🙌
Thank you, Freeman. I tried to make it as simple as possible 💪🏾
I've been fertilizing for 20 years... Your lawn is 👌

Great info as always👊👊

Nice thick grass. That lawn is just screaming for some edging.
I know right 😆😆 I normally let the edges go when it gets super hot, and then I'll trim them back when the temperatures go back down.
Another good one bud!

You're welcome 👍🏾
Your lawn looks impressive. What part of the Country does this lawn reside? No sign of any heat stress. Wow!
Thank you. Louisville KY, and it's blazing hot down here.

Can't wait to try this! Do always cut the lawn in this stripe pattern or do you switch directions occasionally? Great video as always 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾⭐
I switch up my mowing patterns. I'm cutting it differently right now. I cut this pattern for maybe a month.
Thank you for responding. Have a blessed week!
@mbranche4234 No problem, and you have a blessed one as well
I noticed you didn't have a stripe kit but still made nice stripes. What exactly is the attachment that you used to make those stripes?
