I turned 18 last year. I do not live in the states but going to vegas and enjoying some craps is definetly on my bucket list! Your channel is amazing man love the overall vibe!
I filmed mostly on early Tuesday morning right as snow storm was about to hit. This place gets hopping, especially on weekends. This is Las Vegas with 24/7 crowds
@Color Up I say universally just based on local awards, online ratings, word of mouth, etc. I do think the Atlantis's acclaim leads heavily on how good the restaurants and rooms are, though. Not necessarily the tables.
Well the awards I find funny, all the casinos list themselves as winning “best” awards from different sources. I actually like the Atlantis tables and especially the roll tracking. I enjoyed their Buffett. 20 years since last remodel, and inside is for sure the most dated of them all.
@Color Up 20 years since last remodel? Do you mean like a full remodel? Because they've certainly remodeled the casino floor, the rooms, many of the restaurants, and multiple areas like the whole bar area and north elevators more recently than that. It had that whole tiki hut/island theme inside for most of my life.
I meant 10 years, 2009 when they upgraded restaurants, meeting and spa. It’s been late 90s when it became Atlantis and looked same since correct? I’m not a big fan of all the fake plants and dark dungeon feel, but obviously favorite casinos are very subjective. I visited their sister property in Blackhawk Co, monarch. And that is definitely top casino in that area and beautiful. Hopefully reno property follows suit. May have to as may be competitive soon with another casino in the works right their at convention center area.
I like the Atlantis, they have a long rolls board and my wife made it on there back in 2014 with 34 rolls. We won a lot of money on that hot roll for sure!
@@ColorUp She even got a t-shirt and they invited her to a long rolls competition they have there. Everyone at the Atlantis was extremely nice, I can't wait to go back there again.
@@azul93gt38 GSR is certainly now a nicer casino. Atlantis is past due for remodel in my opinion. But I think you can’t go wrong with GSR, Peppermill, or Atlantis. I’m not a fan of the downtown casinos. They are nice enough, but their crazy high table limits are a turn off.
Will stay at peppermill or Atlantis.Comps are better at both since GSR changed the players club they did that when the owner bought the Sarah’s in vegas.
@@ColorUp Thanks for the quick reply. I can work with 5X. Love your channel! I'll let the players club know I'm coming from ColorUp when I go. May the dice be nice ;)
Thanks for the tour! I want to check them out after my next Vegas trip when the Vikings are in town next season. I will be sure to name drop. I have a fun little craps strategy I have been playing with. It's a one hit system; one hit and you are on the casino's dime. Still thinking of a name.
Downtown Reno Row is so filthy since they closed Harrahs and the McDonald's across the street.....

Wait till you turn 21 so you can play
Vegas is a great experience.
@@richardduggar4665 Oh thats right. It works like that in the US
Everything looks nice and huge! But where are all the people 👀
The vampires come don't play during the day ;) 🧛♂🎲

The Atlantis is pretty universally considered the best casino in reno. But the Peppermill is catching up. Gsr may well be third.
Universally considered best? Hmm, I think those are definitely top 3 however you like to order them

I think every casino should track rolls.
I like the Atlantis too I lived in Reno for six years and it was my go to casino.
@@ColorUp She even got a t-shirt and they invited her to a long rolls competition they have there. Everyone at the Atlantis was extremely nice, I can't wait to go back there again.
When I lived in Reno. I believe the Atlantis was considered the best, but GSR was being renovated and was moving up the ranks. That was +10 years ago.

Ironing board in the room is always important for a craps player, when you want to press
We are having a Navy ship reunion in April staying at Circus Circus
fun!
Good casino unless you don’t mind kids running up and down the hallways.
Thanks. Great video! I just got my color up hat today, nice fit and style!
Awesome! Thank you and glad you liked the hat!
Craps dealers at GSR are always super friendly! My favorite casino to play at
Same here!

those are fine casinos, especially if you feel you are getting better comps
@@ColorUp I agree also GSR carers to a younger crowd I am 55.they used to have the buffet open on weekday and had half off offers.
Yeah, GSR markets visitors and NOCal more, Peppermill and Atlantis are more of a locals
Thank you for showing this... Go browns!!.
They have DDR in that Arcade I think!
Planning a Reno trip later this year. What are craps odds like at the GSR? I'm hoping to find somewhere in Reno that offers 10X.
GSR is 5x all the numbers. I think atlantas does as well. Others are 345x.

Looks like they have a lot of stuff for the whole family as well with the bowling alley, arcade, movie theater, etc. Definitely need to check it out.
It’s a great resort. In summer, outside they have driving range, go carts, giant swing.
I'm very sorry about your browns and also did you win a contest yet and what In the world? Snow in Reno???????????
This place looks amazing! Now if I can only get my husband to go! Thanks for showing this. What are the mins at the craps table?
Usually $10 weekdays, $15 and $25 on weekends and holidays
@@ColorUp Also what is the table max as well as what odds do they allow?
@@aebalc 5x odds, $7000 max payout
@@ColorUp how many times in your life have you seen a number get pressed up past $500 starting from $25-30?

You should!
Love gsr, was there celebrating 20+ Yr since I proposed to my wife there.
Oh wow!
Looks great!
I ❤ GSR....
I will say though of all the buffets I have sampled to GSR early morning Buffet is my absolute favorite!
Good report Would like more
Looks like a nice place. You know any places in Vegas on or off the strip that have $1-2 bubble craps, and the slot machine style???
What are their craps minimums generally?
$10 during week, $15 some nights when busy, and weekends are $15 and $25 sometimes
Peppermill gives me comps and they have 10 dollar tables on Friday night. Has GSR changed back, or is it still 15?
Friday nights, it just depends how busy, but usually that’s when $15 tables start
Everyone in my group lost when we visited last month. We're staying away for now 😂
Boo, what a bummer
GSR sucks
No elevators without warning arrivals?
👎🏻
I’m m not sure what a warning arrival is? But a casino sucks because of an elevator issue? Pretty high standard.
Was up.
