- In this Reno Guide, I'm sharing 10 recommendations on what to do when visiting Reno, Nevada.
The city of Reno, Nevada, dubbed "The Biggest Little City in the World," is close to Lake Tahoe and known for its casinos. But there is much more to this charming city than just gambling. Whether you are into arts and culture, the food and cocktail scene, or gaming, Reno has something for everyone.

Thanks for sharing the informations😊
Can’t wait
Thank you for the recommendations. Great video!
Thank you so much!
Surprisingly a great video
haha thank you so much
Virginia City should be it’s own video
Agreed, I have to do a separate video on it!
We loved the Car Museum. Best thing in Reno. Also Jimmy Beans Wool.
This is a good and informative video. I enjoyed it.
thank you so much!!!! 😊
Thank you for awesome video
thank you so much for watching 😊😊
Also... if you're looking for fun in the sun, the truckee river, hiking trails, pyramid lake, lake tahoe, fishing, and various other things are all in multitudes basically year round. When it's winter, add in all the snow sports, winter hiking and snowmobiling, ice skating and so on. Honestly, this area has just about everything.
I really enjoyed the fact that you liked the visit you had here. I am going to be honest with you, there is really is a lot more things to do besides hanging around the downtown area (where the murals, sculptures, and gambling companies are located). We have amazing off-roading trails, outstanding views of the Sierra Nevada's. And an Amazing Ski Resort such as Mt. Rose. We even take pride of having The Loneliest Road in America passing through half of the state itself.
Thank you so much for all of those tips! my bf lives in reno so im here alot but definitely would love to know more outdoor things to do right in reno...as opposed to Lake Tahoe....and your right reno has stunning mountain views 🙌
The new axe throwing place is really cool!
I havent been Ill have to check it out, i've been to the one in Tahoe though
I’ve driven by. It’s in my list of places to visit !
I love cute & cozy cities! 🧡
Well, it would be awesome visit Reno for somedays with you sweet Gabriella.
Go Reno
interesting video however it would have been great if you had included what the costs are like hotels, restaurants and a comparison in price between Reno & Vegas
thank you for the suggestion! I was actually living in Reno for a bit at the time of making this!
👍
I've never been to Reno before and only recently went to Las Vegas. Is Reno better than Las Vegas?
Number 3 should go with number 1
Anything but snow activities lol.
Did anybody see that person flip walking across the street? Lol!
hahaha glad you noticed 😊😀
@@GabriellaViola 😆
Reno is the next Las Vegas
God I hope not
Can i paddle at the lake right now?
You can paddle any time of year...but alot of rental places open after memorial day
“Bricks” is another fine dining choice !
I'll have to check it out 💙💙
The intro kinda made me laugh as a person who lived here my whole life. Theres actually almost zero camping in Reno but rsther in surrounding areas 😢
I think that Reno Nevada has some of the best casinos and also it’s more better then Laughlin Nevada
Why is it better than Laughlin? Ive been to Laughlin more than 30 times and 0 to Reno. Im very curious to go to Reno, please explain why. Thank YOU!
baldini's casino hamburgers and meatloaf.
Visited “Death and Taxes” bar, bartender did not know to mix an old fashion. Pretty sad.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
All the bars and restaurants mentioned are yuppie so bring lots of money
I live here. Not much to do if you have a family. Been here less than 4 years.
Downtown is full of Casinos and Homeless.
What is the cost of living like for a 2 bedroom apartment?
@@dpaper7962 For me its $2,100/mo. And im in a decent area.
@@dpaper7962it depends on the area, the better areas are about 1350.00 to over 2000.00
Reno-Sparks has a discovery museum, Rancho San Rafael, escape rooms, trampoline parks, malls, multiple arcades, hell even a waterpark. What are you not looking for and not finding? Disney world?
Virginia city reno auto museum rancho San Rafael Park carson city's train museum Galina park Washoe lake😂
I’ve been going to Reno since the early 70s through the 80s and 90s and even up to 2000. It was a booming town now all the casinos are dying off because of all the Indian casinos that popped up here in there around the country. I don’t recommend Reno for anything other than maybe the bike rally and even at that it’s not as good as it was Virginia cities OK still street vibrations they have a spring run and a fall run. That’s a good time. Good food lots of custom bikes.
#Nonsense...
There are great things to do, all around Reno...
Reno is always evolving rapidly, you cant be stuck in your old ways.
Downtown Reno is dead. Homeless has begun to appear. Nothing left, but casinos.
They forgot to include.. buy some meth , sleep under a bridge, steal from Walmart or best buy.
Tip 1. If youre from Cali or NY, keep moving! We dont want or need ya!
MAGA much?
Nothing new in life . Life always evolving, people, economics ,etc etc
Look really empty....
Definitely not the busiest city
It gets busy in the summer with outdoor events. Virginia street is closed off during these events and there're many visitors, lots of food kiosks, retail vendors, food trucks, music bands playing... Events are Hot August Nights with classic cars, Italian Festival Street Vibrations(motorcycles), pub crawls, & many more.
Far better places to visit than Reno
I’m tired of Las Vegas
I don't blame you. Las Vegas is a sh*thole unless you're a tourist
That's the third arch I have seen..Start in 1949
