  • One of the best parts about what we do and what we have been able to be involved in is the Hot Rod Power Tour, from sharing our own personal journeys and experiences, to encouraging others to get out of the driveway and come with us. Every year we are seeing and hearing from more and more people who are taking their first Power Tour, and this one is exactly one of those stories!
A very rare and very original 1971 Pontiac LeMans T-37 she comes to us for a general look over and inspection, also with complaints specifically about a driveline vibration when at highway speeds. Tire balance or driveshaft balance? Bad u Joints? Let's rack it, get under this thing, and see just what's going on with it! Very excited to see another Pontiac 350 out there on the road with us, and to help get this American Muscle classic Power Tour 2024 ready!

Nothing is better than a Lucore Pontiac video, thanks!!! .... I love the T37's but my 70 GT-37 400-4spd is the ultimate poor man's GTO

My brother had the same exact car same color, 400, four-speed. We put a crane fireball cam, Holley carb, headers. Sun Tach, oil pressure and water temp gauges in chrome cups. It had a bench seat we changed out and took my 1967 Camaro seats instead.
Redid the interior, new clutch throw out bearing and new hurst shifter….That car was bad ass fast. I wish we still had it.

Nice Pontiac. Wish I still had my 1968 Firebird 400 ci 4 speed Hurst shifter. Another awesome Lucore video!

My uncle tried to come up our mountain driveway one winter and slid one of these backwards over the mountain. Was dark green with green top. Tore it all to hell bouncing off trees.

Absolutely beautiful car. I actually get to look at one everyday sitting in my yard. Nowhere near as nice and doesn't run

Nothing better than an old pontiac!! Thanks for sharing Rich! I think it might need some carburetor adjustment and dual exhaust!!!

Sweet driver, I would seriously consider fixing the trans cross-member mount bracket. Also, it looks like the frame needs help in that same area. Might even be related to your vibration seeing as the u-joints weren't bad. definitely could allow drivetrain to move and vibrate at speed. Worth a closer look IMHO. Just the rubber insulator/bushing being bad can allow the crossmember to move and make noise. that one is shot.

For years there was a fairly ratty GT-37 in Enon, Ohio. Blue with the silver side stripes, 350, 4-speed...

Is the front track width always that much wider on a pontiac, or does he just have the wheels on the wrong ends?
