so strange how two years ago and beyond, turbulence would frighten me to the point of crippling anxiety and my heart rushing... and then last year on my flight to Dubai, I embraced it, out of nowhere. I am so used to being alone all my life, that I found the strength not only to embrace turbulence and whatever distress is associated with it but also, to convert that concept into excitement. I was bouncing over the Turkish mountains with amusement, because my flight was dragging and it was entertaining. Strange I know,
That's funny I also remember my latest turbulence being on route from Dubai to Switzerland over the Turkish mountains - even cabin crew had to take their seats.
Lol she's like me. I love turbulence and always start laughing or smiling, it's like a roller coaster. Plus it wouldn't be fun if you know you are going to survive!
Not at all.. more dangerous turbulence i have faced on my flight to San Francisco while crossing Pacific Ocean..the galley area was a mess after turbulence came to an end. ( M a cabin crew😉)
Bok yep yep I know. But it's amazing to see, coz when in turbulence, I m always seated tight. But I m not sure if its me only, all landings, all minor or turbulence such as this one, I always smell coffee.
Had a similar experience flying home from Hong Kong 9 years ago. Bad turbulence over China. Couldn’t go near an aircraft for 6 months, even though I worked at at airport. Went on a fear of flying course, which was successful
A plan can not crash from turbulence. And it was a bad one, but there are worse. The worse once are called CAT, Clear Air Turbulence. The one in the video is like driving on a bad road. It starts and bumps on. A CAT is like driving in a highway with 120 and a deep pothole appears. The entire plane jolts up and down. This is when the beverage cart joins flying.... :-(
It is rattling like a train or something...just at 40,000ft!! Everybody on board is crapping themselves while the stewardesses are laughing their asses off
Why aren't the flight attendants strapped into their jump seats? This is why the flight attendants check that the galley cabinets and trolleys are locked down and all overhead bins are closed and double-checked prior to takeoff and landing...
I always liked the turbulences, until one day when I had a flight to Malaga and since I was shaken, I felt asleep on the jumpseat. It was before landing, so I woke up when the aircraft was taxiing to the terminal building. 😂
When I flew from New York to The Fiji Islands, even the after the stopover at LAX was the airplane was in perpetual turbulence. It remind me of a bombing run over North Vietnam. Heavy flak.
It is in the air.... Going through uncertain air in the sky... It causes the aircraft a vigorous shake in air... It normal for them😂😂they go through it in several flights daily 😆so why would they get scared
It’s at the back of the aircraft that means it’s always always more bumpy, sitting at the back you are also behind the engines so it’s always much louder and the galley equipment is metal On metal so it sounds worse the in the cabin. I’d call this moderate turbulence but again they may have had it worse after
I love flying all over the world....but turbulence terrifies me. If I had been on this flight you all would have heard me screaming. These ladies are as cool as cucumbers honestly. Which airline was this? Just out of curiosity. Thanks for sharing.
That’s really not true. It’s hard to tell from a video but I would probably consider this moderate turbulence at best…those galley carts rattle so much it makes it sound a lot worse than it is. Not ideal but not severe. Flying in severe turbulence is actually quite rare and stuff can start flying around the cabin. People can get hurt by projectiles or become projectiles themselves if not seated and belted. As for controlling the plane: the pilots have five point harnesses, they aren’t going anywhere. All aircraft are built to withstand A LOT of heavy turbulence, far more than they are ever going to encounter. With that, for the comfort of all on board, pilots tend to try and avoid the really heavy stuff.
