For a better and more realistic bird insertion you might have tried selecting a smaller area. Also the limited resolution of 1024px should be taken into account.
Hi, I thought the newer Remove Tool in Ps 2024 (rel. 25.0) didn't require painting over an entire object anymore...I thought they said we only have to draw a line around a subject to remove & the new Remove Tool would get rid of what's inside the line. Like a Lasso on steroids.
Gute Frage!
I remember during the beta the sample it would give for filling was only 1000px wide and longs os it would stretch those pixels to fill the areas. Is its still doing that ?
I have PS2024 on my computer now and all is fine excpent the blur tool. It brurs part of the foreground subject andf parts of background. Any suggestions?

Which tool do you mean in particular? I used generative fill and the removal tool a lot today for commercial photos (lots of removing an exapnding difficult areas) and it was so much easier than using something like clone stamp
@@ThePhlogPhotographyhe means that since these things are now part of photoshop - in beta you could do exactly the same. No higher res for instance plus credits to use it
That's it for me with Photoshop. Paying more for getting a crippled, censored AI and even paying for bullshit generations? No, thanks. Time to move on.
Appreciate the simple clear explanation
Thank you very much for the helpful update!
I didn’t realise there was an update so thanks for the info 👍🏼📸
Nice overview of these incredible new functions ... very helpful - Cheers - with love from Atlanta.
Thank you, very happy to hear that! :-)
Thanks!
Thanks for the information.
Very helpful
Christian, thank you so much for your inspiration! Your presentation is brilliant! I have learned a lot from you!
Thank you sooo much ,that really means a lot to me!

Thats true, smaller boy would have helped with the birds indeed!
Tack!
Thanks a lot for your donation!
What about the resolution of generated pixels? Are they the same as Beta version or we're getting higher resolution here in this version of Photoshop?
As for now it's the same as the beta. But it sounds like in the future they plan to bring in a higher resolution.
only downside is that generative actions use credits even if you don't like the results.
Yeah, that is something they should probably change

Oh I didn't know that, I will give it a try later to see if it works. Thanks for pointing that out!
@@ThePhlogPhotography I hope it works...Certainly the approach you showed still works. Thankfully!
Incredible! I'm amazed with this AI tools. Thank you very much for de video, Christian!
Happy you like it! Hope you will have some fun with this new AI stuff :-)
I remember during the beta the sample it would give for filling was only 1000px wide and longs os it would stretch those pixels to fill the areas. Is its still doing that ?
Apparently, it is still behaving like that!

I think thats because the subject and foreground / background arent cleary separated and PS will struggle to detect a clear edge to apply the blur
but you can click on foreground to select @@ThePhlogPhotography

If you have high demands, this function is not particularly good.
FROM the first beta to this, it's not a big difference...?!
